ANDREWS - Lorene Holman, 92, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, in Littlefield.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Andrews Church of God with the Revs. Ray Holman and Timothy Chenault officiating. Burial will be at Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Littlefield. She was a member of the Church of God.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Hermon Holman of Houston, Clyde Holman of Amarillo and Norman Holman of Giddings; daughters, Sue Peck of Sudan and Darline Carnes of Andrews; sister, Glenda Gill of Garden City; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.

MIDLAND - Lillie Pauline 'Polly' Lawler, 60, of Midland, a retired Odessa city clerk, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Frank W. Wilson Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Bay City. She was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ronnie Lawler Jr. of Dallas and Richard Lawler of Midland; daughters, Angela Coleman of Alma, Mich., and Pauline Phillips and Natalie Tidwell, both of Midland; mother, Belle Atkinson; brother, Dwight Barton of Kerrville; sisters, Yvonne Fortner of Midland and Wilma Johnson of Canyon; and 13 grandchildren.

Luciano Mata
PECOS - Luciano 'Chano' Mata, 89, of Pecos, a retired maintenance man, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at Reeves County Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Miguel Angel Sanchez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Casa Piedras. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, Fred Mata of Odessa; daughter, Susie Granado of Pecos; brothers, Alberto Rojo of Alpine and Benjamin Rojo of Fort Stockton; sisters, Rebecca Estor, Herminia Martinez and Elisa Rodriguez, all of Marfa, and Elvira Villanueva of Odessa; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Salome Orona
ODESSA - Salome M. Orona, 86, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Lopez officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Manuel Flores of Los Angeles, and Refugio Flores of Presidio; daughters, Maria Tavarez, Dulces N. Adame, Alicia F. Quinonez and Luz Flores, all of Odessa, Antonia Ronquillo of Ojinaga, Mexico, and Reyes Vega of El Paso; brother, Manuel Orona of Washington; 34 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Eric Sullivan Jr., infant son of Eric Sullivan and Elizabeth Moore, died Nov. 7, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rose Hill Babyland in Odessa with the Rev. Bill Tatum officiating. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Demetric Moore of Odessa; sister, Eriyka Sullivan of Odessa; grandmother, Elizabeth Moore of Odessa; and grandfather, Frank Fay Sr. of Odessa.

FORT STOCKTON - Lydia Valenzuela, 85, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Kennedy. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Josephina Avalos of Seguin and Mary Sandoval of Sinton; brother, M.P. Sandoval of Sinton; one grandchild; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

ENOCHS — Evelyn Gibson, 76, of Lubbock, a retired barber instructor, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002, in Lubbock.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with the Rev. Ken Horn officiating. Burial will be at Enochs cemetery in Enochs. Arrangements by Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock.
She was born in Silverton. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Earnest Gibson of Weatherford; daughters, Candie Stone of El Sobrante, Calif., Tonya Reid of Odessa, Lana Randall of Weatherford and Jeannie McDonald of Slaton; sisters, Carol Barrett of Channelview, Betty Taylor of Midland and Sally Klinger of Anchorage, Alaska; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

CRANE — Lydia (Mae) Mason, 88, of Crane, a retired hospital employee, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002, at Lois Owen Retirement Home in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crane County cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
She was born in Juno. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Barbara Fly of Odessa; son, R.E. Mason of Crane; brother, Ross Stavley of Sanderson; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

MIDLAND — Clarence Edward Redic, 48, of Midland, an employee of the city of Midland, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002, at Midland Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Odessa.

ODESSA — Vernon Davis Anderson, 68, of Odessa, a life insurance treasurer, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, in Odessa.

He was born in Hyman, Texas. He was member of the Church of Christ.

She was born in Hollywood, N.M. She was a member of the Christian Church.
SURVIVORS: Son, Lonnie Ray Richards of Celina; daughter, Rose Mary Scroggins of Pecos; and sister, Artie Elizabeth Luck of Pecos; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was born in Helena, Ark., and moved to Odessa in 1989. He was Baptist.
