ODESSA — Elias Flores Martinez, 82, of Odessa, a retired employee of Sunset Memorial Gardens, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Robert Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was Baptist. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Ofelia Martinez of Odessa; sons, Robert Martinez and Elias Martinez Jr., both of Lubbock; daughters, Viola McGarity, Mary Urias and JoAnn Mancha, all of Odessa, Diana Enriquez of Allen and Esther Estrada of Dallas; sisters, Concha Martinez, Theresa Martinez, Lupe Vega and Josefina Hernandez, all of Alpine; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Eva S. Rodriguez, 77, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at her residence.
Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors, hosted by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Pecos.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Alfredo Evaro Rodriguez of Odessa; daughters, Rosa Ortega, Cecilia Madrid, Susie Benavides, and Augustina Rodriguez all of Odessa; 18 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

KERMIT — Ramon H. Rodriguez Jr., 68, of Kermit, a retired TxDOT employee, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, in Midland.
Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. Inc.
He was born in Fort Davis and was a resident of Kermit for 25 years. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maria Rodriguez of Kermit; sons, Benny Rodriguez and Fernando Rodriguez both of Kermit; daughter, Larisa Corral of Midland; brothers, T.H. Rodriguez of Fort Davis, C.H. Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez both of Dallas; sisters, Rita Rodriguez of Chicago, Socorro Brito of El Paso, and Rosie Gutierrez of San Angelo; and two grandchildren.

ODESSA — Merle E. Bortzer, 62, of Odessa, died Thursday, Oct. 31.

ODESSA - Louise Tappe Addicks, 87, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at her residence.

She was born in William Penn. She was Lutheran.

KERMIT - David Franco Aranda, 83, of Kermit, a retired construction worker, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Eastside Church of Christ with the Rev. Brian McGonagil officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Buena Vista. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maria Aranda of Kermit; sons, Raul Aranda of Fort Stockton, Rojelio Aranda and Ruben Aranda, both of Kermit, and Rey Aranda of Andrews; daughters, Romelia Higgins of Killeen and Rosie Hernandez of Kermit; sisters, Antonia Acosta and Agripina Acosta, both of Andrews, Victorina Alvarado of Ojnaga, Mexico, and Leonor Porras of Lovington, N.M.; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

SNYDER - Eura S. Beckham, 85, of Snyder, a retired secretary of Snyder Independent School District, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Chuck Sammons officiating. Burial will be in Snyder cemetery. Arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
She was born Fluvanna. She was Baptist.
