ODESSA - Zurel Dempsey King, 79, of Odessa, a retired repairman, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, in Odessa.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel with the Rev. Emmitt Barnard officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
He was born in Blocker, Okla. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Thelma King of Odessa; sons, Charles Willis of Redding, Calif., and Bob Willis of Livermore, Calif.; daughters, Dayna Smith of Odessa, and Debbie Thompson of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

ODESSA - Edmon Lang Jr., 66, of Odessa, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Saint James Baptist Church with the Rev. R. T. McNeil officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Childress. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Iris June of Odessa; daughters, Sherrie Lynette Lang and Anita Lang O’Neal, both of Odessa; son, Paul Anthony Lang of Odessa; brothers, Joe W. Odhams of Reno, Nev., and Ocie Odhams of Barstow, Calif.; sister, Doris Ann Truesdale Hamptlon of Barstow, Calif.; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

STANTON - Kathleen Moreno, infant daughter of Catrina Ramos and Guadalupe Moreno, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery with George Thirumangalam officiating. Arrangements by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home & Chapel.
She was born in Midland.
