Services are pending with Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield.

ODESSA — Verdie Mae Stevenson, 82, of Odessa died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral

Loften Bragg
BROWNWOOD — Loften Bragg, 91, of Brownwood, a retired coach and teacher, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003.
Services were Jan. 13 at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmie Mize officiating. Graveside services followed at the Cross Plains cemetery in Cross Plains. Arrangements by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
He was born in Downing. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lynnette Bragg of Brownwood; daughters, Kaye Booher of DeSoto, Judy Evans of Flower Mound and Dinah Keathley of Cross Plains; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mauro Carrasco
COYANOSA — Mauro Lujan Carrasco, 66, of Coyanosa, a retired farmer, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at his residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Isadore Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery in Pecos. Arrangements by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home of Pecos.
He was born in Tierras Nuevas, Ojinaga, Chih., Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Evangelina G. Carrasco of Coyanosa; son, Mauro Carrasco Jr. of Houston; daughters, Maria Lorena Gonzales of Midland, Veronica Padilla of Houston and Lourdes Carrasco of Lakeland, Fla.; brothers, Arturo Carrasco of Ojinaga, Mexico, Jesus Gomez of Pecos, Francisco Lujan of Midland, Pedro Gomez of Hobbs, N.M., Guadalupe Gomez of Odessa and Jose De La Luz of Houston; sisters, Augustina Carrasco of San Carlos, Mexico, Carmen Lujan of Hobbs, N.M., and Albina Libradad Rodriguez of Pecos; and six grandchildren.

ODESSA — Jullean Crane, 85, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. C.E. Shuffield officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was a member of the Church of God.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Brenda Allison of Odessa; and sons, Delmar Crane and Ray Lavern Crane, both of Odessa; three grandchildren and five great-grand children.

ODESSA — Thomas Eugene Hollowell, 53, of Odessa, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chapa Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Newton officiating. Arrangements by Chapa Funeral Home.
He was born in Parkdale, Ark.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Vera Verne Hollowell of Odessa; sons, Aaron Ray Ballard and Sparkey Joe Hollowell, both of Odessa; daughter, Evie Joy Hollowell of Cypress; mother, Dorothy Mae McPherson of Odessa; and brother, Andrew Dale of Odessa.

Reba Johnson
CRANE — Reba Lee Johnson, 81, of Crane, a homemaker, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at the Crane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Crane County cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
She was born in Roby. She was Baptist.

He was born in Lubbock. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

KERMIT — Bonnie Lee Kline, 79, of Santa Anna, a retired restaurant owner, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at the Holiday Hill Nursing Home.

She was a 50-year resident of Winkler County. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Sue Graces of Santa Anna; brother, Owen Connelly of Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Irene Hall Martin, 83, of Odessa, a retired schoolteacher, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at Lea County Regional Hospital in Hobbs, N.M.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dan Smeltzer officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was a 42-year resident of Odessa.
