ODESSA - Michael Thomas McDonald, 49, of Odessa, a draftsman/designer, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Duncan, Okla. He was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Debbie McDonald of Odessa; son, Shawn Edward McDonald of Odessa; daughter, Christi McDonald of Odessa; mother, Joyce McDonald of Odessa; brother, Bobby Landers of Odessa; and sister, Vicki Abney of Odessa.

Paula Ornelas
PECOS - Paula Matta Ornelas, 86, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at Home Hospice in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
She was born in Indio. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Maria Ocon, Adelaida Jurado and Virginia Edwards, all of Pecos, and Estella Olivas of Houston; sisters, Martha Ann of Tucson, Ariz., Mary Dutchover and Yolanda Ramirez, both of Pecos, Virginia Ramirez of Zapata, Maria Reginio of McCamey and Eloisa Casia of Odessa; brothers, Manuel Matta of Ojinaga, Chih., Mexico, Juan Matta Jr. of Abilene, Paz Matta of Odessa and Hector Matta of Pecos; 27 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Virgil 'Red' Pinner, 86, formerly of Odessa died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, in Boca Raton, Fla.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Kevin Bushart officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Jonesboro, Ark.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Lana Boussidan of Boca Raton, Fla.; sisters, Evelyn Cherry of Burnett, Wilma Jones and Joe Pinner, both of Odessa; two grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

John Stone
FORT DAVIS - John Stone, 75, of Fort Davis, a retired pilot, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at his residence.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Munday. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Medrith Stone of Fort Davis; daughter, Catherine Bayless of Fort Davis; step-daughter, Aslynne DeVirgeless of East Rutherford, N.J.; step-sons, Russell Payton of Norman, Okla., and Charles Payton of Cheyenne, Wyo.

VALENTINE - Logan Michael Williams, 25, of Alpine died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Valentine. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Van Horn.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jess Williams of Alpine; parents, Mike and Leslie Earline Bell Williams of Valentine; sister, Michelle Williams of Kerrville; brother, Lance Williams of Mineral Wells; and grandparents, Les and Helen Bell and Ginny Williams, all of Fort Davis.

G.O. Winborn
MONAHANS - G.O. 'Butch' Winborn, 86, of Monahans, a retired clerk for Texas Electric, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Third & Dwight Church of Christ with Greg Holly officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
He was born in Lake Como, Miss.
SURVIVORS: Son, Steven E. Winborn of Monahans; daughter, Jane Anne Eason of Monahans; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

CRANE - Timothy Eugene Riddle, 45, of Crane died Monday, December 16, 2002, at his residence.

MONAHANS —Eva Rubio Franco, 67, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, in Monahans.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
She was born in Presidio. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, Alfredo Franco, Pedro Franco and Reymundo Franco, all of Monahans; and sisters, Angelo Franco and Gloria Guzman, both of Monahans, and Delia Dominguez of Kermit.

W.J. Kizer
BIG SPRING — W.J. Kizer, 82, of Big Spring, a retired employee of Texaco, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Myers and Smith Chapel with the Rev. Dwayne Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Myers and Smith Funeral Home.
He was born in Coleman. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Pauline Kizer of Big Spring; son, Bobby Kizer of Odessa; daughter, Sherry Everett of Big Spring; sister, Mable Fletcher of Hansford, Calif.; brothers, Charles Kizer of Brownwood and Fred Kizer of Midland; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

ODESSA — Ronny Lee Rand, 48, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew’s Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa, Texas.
SURVIVORS: Daughters; ChaKhan Rand of Odessa and KaTrena Shaw of Austin; mother, Altha Rand of Odessa; brothers, Billy Rand and David Rand, both of Odessa; grandmother, Tennie Rand of Odessa; and three grandchildren.

Felix Valles Sr.
FORT STOCKTON — Felix S. Valles Sr., 82, of Sanderson, a retired machine operator, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at the Santa Rita cemetery in Sanderson. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Memorial Funeral Home.
He was a lifelong resident of Sanderson. He was a veteran of World War II.
