PECOS — Jesus Montelongo, 79, of Pecos, a laborer, died Saturday, May 10, 2003, at Reeves County Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Greenwood cemetery with the Rev. Gustavo Lopez officiating. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Juarez, Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: None listed.

Connie Nance
SEMINOLE — Connie Elizabeth Nance, 88, of Seminole, a homemaker and farmer, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at her grandson’s residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Community Chapel with Rick Wilson and Justin Nance officiating. Burial will be at the Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Martin County. She was a member of the Westside Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mildred Ann Cox of Brownwood; sister, Joni Lu Wright of Midland; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Bob Teegarden
ODESSA — Bob Teegarden, 65, of Graham, died Monday, May 12, 2003, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at East Side Church of Christ with Dick Stovall officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.
He was born in Bristow, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Kay Teegarden of Graham; sons, Mike Teegarden of Odessa; daughter, Keri Harrison of Graham; mother, Wiluer Teegarden of Sapulpa, Okla.; brother, David Teegarden, of Sapulpa, Okla.; and four grandchildren.

Mabel Wisner
ODESSA — Mabel Wisner, 89, of Odessa, a retired nurse, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Brewer officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. today the Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Fla. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Woodworth, Wis. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, William Wisner Jr. of Tallahassee, Fla.; daughter, Dawn Whitlock of Odessa; brother, Elmer Droese of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; sister, Esther White of Bluford, Ill.; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

MONAHANS — James “Jake” Reeves, 81, of Monahans died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at the Monahans Managed Care Center.
Services are pending with Heritage Funeral Home.

ODESSA — Cora M. Atkins, 93, of San Antonio, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 10, 2003, in Regency Village Healthcare Center in Austin.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Porter Loring Mortuary of San Antonio.
She was born in Langford, S.D.
SURVIVORS: Son, Allen C. Atkins of San Antonio; daughters, Alberta McBee and Lola Mae Welch, both of Austin; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Ruben Macias
ODESSA — Ruben Lopez Macias, 22, of Odessa died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sixth and Jackson Church of Christ. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Portales, N.M. He was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Irma Macias of Odessa; stepfather, Jesus Natividad of Odessa; brothers, Jesus Mujica of Fort Bragg, N.C., Steven Lopez and Ruben Lopez, both of Andrews; sisters, Mirna Mujica and Annett Lopez, both of Andrews; grandparents, Damantina Lopez of Andrews, and Armando and Elva C. Macias, both of Odessa.

Peggy Roberson
CRANE — Peggy Roberson, 43, of Crane, a truck driver for McDougal trucking, died Saturday, May 10, 2003, at the Regency Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Kermit.
SURVIVORS: Son, Dustin Stoudemire of Crane; mother, Darlene Case of Crane; brother, Billy Stoudemire of Chehalis, Wash.; sister, Patty Cross of Bandera; and grandmother, Maudie McDougal of Crane.

Jean Tucker
ANDREWS — Jean Simmons Tucker, 78, of Haltom City, a homemaker, died Friday, May 9, 2003, in Haltom City.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Greenwood Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Wayman Swopes officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Gorman.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Kay Martin of Trophy Club; son, Martin Fuller of Morgan Mill; sister, Wanda Shumake of Haltom City; brother, Ben Cayce of Granbury; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Buck Williford
MIDLAND — Buck Monroe Williford, 81, of Midland, a retired employee of Gulf Refining Company, died Saturday, May 10, 2003, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Charles Elliott officiating. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle &Welch Funeral Home and Crematory of Midland.
He was born in Roscoe and moved to Odessa in 1939. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Quita Lee Williford of Midland; son, Ron Williford of Ransom Canyon; daughters, Kay Thorpe of Midland and Diane Addison of Tulsa, Okla.; brother, Jasper M. Williford of Huntsville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

W.D. Bates
ODESSA — W.D. “Mooch” Bates, 76, of Odessa died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church with Dr. David Mindel officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home.
He was a longtime resident of Odessa.

ODESSA — Carmen Betancourt, 86, of Odessa died Monday, May 12, 2003, at his residence.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Serafin Avenido officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Terlingua. He was Catholic.

ODESSA — Betty Joyce Bunch, 58, of Odessa, a retired beautician, died Monday, May 12, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
