ALPINE -- Leslie Mae Lawhon, 93, of Alpine, a homemaker, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at Alpine Valley Care Center.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Geeslin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Garmon officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawley cemetery near Bay City. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Matagorda County and moved to Alpine in 1975. She was Methodist.
Survivors: Daughter, Janette Bowers of Alpine; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Eulalia Marrufo
MONAHANS -- Eulalia Marrufo, 55, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at her residence.
Services will be will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and was a 23-year resident of Monahans. She was Catholic.
Survivors: Husband, Rafael Marrufo of Monahans; sons, Jaime Marrufo and Rafael Marrufo Jr., both of Monahans; daughters, Bertha Porras of Pecos and Antonia Marrufo of Monahans; five brothers, Emilio Armendariz, Ramon Armendariz, Carlos Armendariz, Octavio Armendariz and Monserat Armendariz, all of Monahans; sisters, Victoria Salazar of Anthony, N.M., Petra Chacon of Mesquit, N.M., and Josefina Vauera of Chi, N.M.; and 14 grandchildren.
Crecencio Rede
PECOS -- Crecencio Rede Sr., 55, of Pecos, a case manager at Reeves County Detention Center, died Sunday, March 15, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Midland.
Rosary was said Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Antonio Mena officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Toyahvale and was a lifelong resident of Monahans. He was a veteran of the Army. He was Catholic.
Survivors: Son, Crecencio Rede Jr. of Pecos; daughter, Terry Gerke of Midland; brothers, Pablo Rede of Pecos, Raymundo Rede of Odessa and Juan Rede of Lovington, N.M.; sisters, Maria Magdalena Garcia Ruiz of Midland and Agapita Lopez of Lovington, N.M.; and two grandchildren.
Charlotte Roehl
CARTHAGE, Mo. -- Charlotte Jean 'Shirley' Roehl, 56, of Carthage, Mo., died Friday, March 13, 1998, at her residence.
Services were held Monday, March 16, 1998, at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Cook officiating. Burial was at Jasper cemetery. Arrangements by Ulmer Funeral Home Inc.
She was born in Carthage, and was a resident of Odessa before returning to Carthage in 1974. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors: Daughters, Valerie Stevens of Odessa and Charmain Shaw of San Angelo; and brother, Willard Adams of Joplin, Mo.
Earlene Weeks
ODESSA -- Earlene Weeks, 77, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at Seabury Nursing Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Advance and moved to Odessa in 1955 from Hempstead. She was Pentecostal.
Survivors: Sons, Don Weeks of Quitman, Delton Weeks and Donnie Weeks, both of Holly Lake, Gaylon Weeks of Red Oak and Darwin Weeks of Odessa; daughters, Clarene Anderson of Odessa, Betty Fitts of Odessa and Belinda Coppinger of Salt Lake City; mother, Myrtis Roberts of Odessa; sisters, Dorothy Norman and Juanita Greer, both of Odessa; 20 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA -- Eusebio Vega Jr., 45, died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, in Odessa.

ODESSA -- Terry Carl Wooten, 47, of Odessa, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Ellinor Cleckler
ODESSA -- Ellinor Minna Cleckler, 64, of Odessa, a retired optical technician, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at her residence.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dean Kelm officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Berlin, Germany and moved to Odessa in 1966 from Abilene. She was a Lutheran.
SURVIVORS: Husband, John C. Cleckler of Odessa; daughters, Cornelia DeLongchamp of Midland, Christina Cleckler of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Wolfgang Kruger of Berlin; and four grandchildren.
Fred Field
CRANE -- Fred Field, 89, of Crane, a retired pumper for Gulf Oil Company, died Sunday, March 15, 1998, at Crane Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kimberly Kinsey officiating. Burial will be at Crane County cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in Big Spring and had been a resident of Crane since 1936. He was a Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Helen Field of Crane; sons, Birt Field of Crane and Sam Terrell Field of El Paso; daughter, Bettie Lou Hawkins of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pancho Funk
SEMINOLE -- Pancho Funk, infant son of Jacob and Justina Funk of Seminole, died Sunday, March 15, 1998, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Rienland Mennonite Church with Henry Riemer officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Lubbock.
SURVIVORS: Parents; grandparents, Frank Funk and Elizabeth Funk, both of Mexico.

KERMIT -- Darrel M. Mayer, 82, of Kermit, a retired teacher, died Sunday, March 15, 1998, at his residence.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Gary Seelau and Russ Smith Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. He was born in Guymon, Okla., and was a 52-year resident of Kermit. He was a Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Patsy H. Mayer of Kermit; son, Marty Mayer of Bellevue, Ky.; daughter, Judy Crawford of Andrews; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
