Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. MST Wednesday at the Church of Christ in Jal, N.M., with Milton Langston officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She was born in San Saba and was a resident of Jal, N.M. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jerry Lewis of Kermit; daughter, Jane Teasley of Jal, N.M.; brothers, W.J. Deeds of Odessa, Pat Deeds ofTexas; sisters, Nora Henderson of San Angelo and Marieta Dunn of Abilene; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Lula Mitchell
COLEMAN - Lula Mae Mitchell, 88, a seamstress, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1997, in Coleman.
Services were held Monday at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Boyd officiating. Burial was at Coleman cemetery. Arrangements were by Stevens Funeral Home.
She was born in Anson and was a lifetime resident of Coleman. She was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Osie Lee Mitchell, Jimmy Wayne Mitchell and Delbert Mitchell, all of Coleman, and Douglas Mitchell of McCamey; brother, Ike Keeney of Abilene; sisters, Gladys Slayton and Christine Turner, both of Coleman; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

ASHMORE - Elvena Russell, 83, a homemaker, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1997, in Lubbock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ashmore Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Mosley officiating. Burial will be at Loop cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Kiowa County, Okla., and was a resident of Loop. She was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Arthur Russell of Loop; daughter, Louvena Hand of Seminole; and two grandchildren.

LUBBOCK - Bess Hamilton, 98, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1997, in Lubbock. Services were held at Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gene Hawkins officiating. MARATHON - Domitila Sanchez, 92, a homemaker, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1997, at Big Bend Regional Medical Center. Mass was celebrated Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Deacon Alex Reyes officiating. Burial was at the Marathon cemetery. Arrangements were by Geeslin Funeral Home. She was born in San Vicente and was a resident of Marathon since 1968. She was a Catholic. SURVIVORS: Sons, Domingo Hernandez of Fort Stockton and Isiar Yharte and Chelao Yharte, both of Midland; daughters, Antonia Yharte of Midland and Consuelo Estrada and Canderlio Hernandez, both of Marathon; brother, Antonio Yharte of Midland; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

IDALOU - Cora L. Turner, 87, a retired manager of Idalou Public Schools cafeteria, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1997, in Lubbock. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church at Idalou with the Rev. Calvin Gray officiating. Burial will be at the Idalou cemetery. Arrangements by White Funeral Home of Idalou. She was born in Munday and was a resident of Idalou. She was a Baptist.

ODESSA - Dossie Pearl Wilson, 83, a homemaker, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1997, at Seabury Nursing Center. Graveside services were held Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Clydell Chapman officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Russellville, Ark., and was a resident of Odessa. She was a Methodist.

She was born in Patrolia and was a resident of Andrews.

LAUREL, MISS. - Earl Crawford Jr., 72, owner and operator of Laurel Patrol Services of 37 years, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997, at South Central Regional Medical Center. Services were held Monday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Regan officiating. Burial was at Hickory Grove cemetery. Arrangements by Memory Chapel Funeral Home. He was born in Louisiana and was a resident of Laurel. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was a Protestant.

She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and was a resident of Sanderson since 1930. She was a Catholic.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be at Balmorhea cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home of Pecos. He was a lifetime resident of Balmorhea. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a Catholic.

HOBBS, N.M. - Charles T. Halliburton, 50, a former employee of Mississippi Potash Mines of 29 years, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997, at his residence after a lengthy illness. Crim Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Sherrill officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park. Arrangements by Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. She was born in the Church Hill Community and moved from Henderson to Nacogdoches in 1978. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

SEMINOLE - Bud Miller, 77, owner and operator of Buds Service in Seminole, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997, in Brownfield. Services will be at 4 p.m. today at M.S. Doss Chapel with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Ratliff Funeral Home. He was born in Niles, Mich., and moved to Seminole in 1955. He served two years in the U.S. Army Air Force. SURVIVORS: Sons, Roger Miller of Brownfield and Edwin Miller of Andrews; daughter, Susan Spence of Seminole; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Jess Little officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. She was born in San Duskee, Ohio, and came to Odessa in 1956 from Indiana.

Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with the Revs. Grover and Betty Yoakum officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery in Seminole. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. He was born in Seminole and came to Odessa in 1995 from Keller.
