FORT STOCKTON — Martin Benavidez Padilla, 66, of Fort Stockton, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Junior Chavira officiating. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at the Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrange-ments by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Manuel Benavidez, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lidia Padilla of Fort Stockton; son, Cutberto Padilla of San Antonio; daughters, Regina G. Garcia of Houston, Bertha A. Rodriguez and Lidia Natividad, both of Fort Stockton, Miriam Suchi of Odessa and Luz Maria Sigala of Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico; brothers, Manuel Padilla and Bernabe Padilla, both of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Teodoro Rodriguez Jr.
IMPERIAL — Teodoro E. Rodriguez Jr., 89, of Crane, a farmer, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at Crane Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Imperial cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Services Chapa Funeral Home.
He was born in Grandfalls.
SURVIVORS: Son, Felipe Rodriguez of San Antonio, daughter, Anaeva Rodriguez of Pecos; brother, Apolonio Rodriguez of Odessa.

FORT STOCKTON — Brandon Lee Tacheny, 1, of Fort Stockton, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2003, in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 2 pm. Monday at the Apostolic Tabernacle with the Rev. R.K. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton. He belonged to the Apostolic Tabernacle.
SURVIVORS: Father, Stephen Tacheny Jr. of Fort Stockton; mother, Vanessa Tacheny of Fort Stockton; grandfathers, Stephen Tacheny Sr. and Dempsey Wilson, both of Fort Stockton; grandmothers, Sheila Tacheny, Margaret Aleman and Johnnie Wilson, all of Fort Stockton, and Loretta Chancey of Tampa, Fla.; and three great-grandparents.

MONAHANS — Molly “Na-Naw” Taylor, 87, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrange-ments by Heritage Funeral Home.
She was born in Olney. She was a lifelong resident of Monahans. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Bobby C. Brantley, 59, of Odessa, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at Odessa Regional Hospital.

PECOS — Marion Cook, 76, of Pecos, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at his home.

Cresencio Anchondo
PECOS - Cresencio Anchondo, 67, of Pecos, a retired truck driver, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Ben Flores officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Tieras, Nuevas, Chihuahua, and had lived in Pecos for years. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Cresencio Anchondo Jr., Roy Anchondo, and Javier Anchondo, all of Odessa, and Jesse Anchondo and Sam Anchondo both of Pecos; daughters, Lupita Patino and Imelda Anchondo, both of Pecos, and Wilma Bernal of Odessa; brothers, Juan Anchondo and Bernardo Anchondo, both of Pecos, Felix Abila of Barstow, and Tia Cres of Topeka, Kan.; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Esperanza Gonzalez
LEVELLAND - Esperanza Gonzalez, 52, of Odessa, a Furrs Cafeteria food server, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, in Odessa.
Mass will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Anns Catholic Church with the Rev. Jesse Cruz officiating. Burial will be in Morton Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Head Family Funeral Home.
She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and had lived in Odessa since 1974. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Manuela C. Gonzalez of Morton; sons, Angel Flores Jr. and Artemio Flores, both of Odessa; daughters, Michelle Gonzalez of Odessa and Raquel Lara of Lubbock; brothers, Juan Gonzalez of Odessa, Joe Gonzalez of Morton, and Carlos Gonzalez of Brownfield; sisters, Elpida Garza of Morton, Oralia Aker of Monahans, Sophia Artega of Sweetwater, and Ramona Muniz of Odessa; and 11 grandchildren.
Leslie Hull
STANTON - Leslie D. 'Donnie' Hull, 63, of Stanton, a 25-year employee of M&M Meter Service, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at his residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Stanton with the Rev. David Harp officiating. Assisting will be Van Pendergrass minister of Downtown Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Evergreen cemetery in Stanton. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.
He was born in Big Spring and lived most of his life in Stanton, moving to Midland and living there 15 years before returning to Stanton in 1977. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Dianne Hull of Stanton; sons Keith Hull of Mansfield, Scott Hull of The Colony; sister, Virginia Murdock of Roanoke; and four grandchildren.

ODESSA - Juanita Fern Leard, 71, of Kermit, Plantation House operator, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with Brother Mark Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.
She was born in Levelland and came to Kermit in November of 1963 from Snyder.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Leroy Leard of Kermit; son, Weldon Leard of Kermit; daughter, Sabrina Kingston of Early; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
J.C. Mercer
ODESSA - J.C. Mercer, 78, of Sweetwater, a roustabout pusher in the oil industry, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, with Lynn Money of Sherwood Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Trenton and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II . He was a longtime resident of Odessa before moving to Comanche for several years. He then resided in Sweetwater for the past year. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Barbara Mercer of Sweetwater; step-son, Kenneth Cottrell of Amarillo; sister, Doxie Yarborough of San Angelo.
Babe Ruth Patterson
FORT WORTH - Babe Ruth Patterson, 79, of Fort Worth, a homemaker, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, in a Weatherford Hospital.
Services will be at 9 a.m. today at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at 4 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa. Arrangements by Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Spur.
SURVIVORS: Son, Larry Patterson of Weatherford; daughter, Linda Moore of College Station; sisters, Lillie Washburn of Houston, and Grace Petus of Odessa; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
