ODESSA - Flora Demeris Clack Griffin, 86, of Odessa, died Friday, December 19, 2003, at Regency Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Cisco.
SURVIVORS: son, Paul Griffin of Odessa; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Hallman
ODESSA - Mary Hallman, 69, of Monahans, retired from Southwestern Bell, died Friday, December 19, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home in Monahans. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Iraan cemetery with Don Fankhauser officiating. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home of Monahans.
SURVIVORS: Son, Paul Warden of Monahans; daughters, Kathi Heuman of Odessa and Paula Story Owens of Amarillo; brothers, Jack Warden of Monahans and Bascome Warden of Grand Prairie; sister, Ima Jane Sims of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Elwanda Henry
ODESSA - Elwanda Davis Henry, 71, of Odessa, a nurse, died Friday, December 19, 2003 at Sienna Nursing Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chapa Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Services Chapa Funeral Home.
She was born in Ada, Okla. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Elmer Henry of Odessa; sons, Gary Brown of Clovis, N.M., and Melvin Brown and Thomas Brown, both of Odessa; daughter, Sandra Springer of Katy; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Maria Hernandez
PECOS - Maria Hernandez, 97, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Saturday, December 20, 2003, at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home of Monahans.
She was born in Shafter. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Julian C. Hernandez of Monahans and Tony C. Hernandez of Pecos; daughters, Amelia Moralez of Andrews and Maria De Jesus Madrid of Monahans; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

LUBBOCK - Laura Hunter, 78, of Big Spring, a nurse, died Saturday, December 20, 2003, at Heritage Oaks in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Monahans cemetery in Monahans with Rev. Marshall Fair officiating. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
She was born in Ranger. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Travis Hunter of Lubbock; brother, the Rev. Marshall Fair of Roswell, N.M.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Sybil Morton
ODESSA - Sybil Morton, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, December 20, 2003, at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Belmont Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Saffle officiating. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Panola County. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Betty Reeves and Robbie Butler, both of Odessa; brother, Buddy Ramsey of Henderson; sister, Betty Mims of Longview; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

VAN HORN - Manuel T. Navarette, 76, died Saturday, December 20, 2003, in Van Horn.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Van Horn. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Van Horn cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Elias Navarette of El Paso and Rene Navarette of Van Horn; brother, Jesus Navarette of Van Horn; sisters, Theresa Ruiz of California and Socorro Guerrero and Sarah Mendoza of Van Horn; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON - Santiaga O. Perez, 91, of Sanderson, died Sunday, December 21, 2003 in Fort Stockton.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. James Catholic Church in Sanderson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at Sanderson cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Miguel Perez of San Antonio and Ruberto Perez of Sanderson; daughters, Josefina Martinez and Irma Rodriquez of San Antonio and Minerva Martinez of Sanderson; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Richard Ritcherson
ANDREWS - Richard Ritcherson, 77, of Andrews, a farmer and truck driver, died Saturday, December 20, 2003, at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Tatum cemetery in Tatum, N.M., with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He was born in Marysville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jess Ritcherson of Lubbock, Carl Ritcherson and Ricky Ritcherson of Andrews, and Bobby Ritcherson of Lovington, N.M.; daughter, Gayla McGalliard of Dumas; sisters, Charlene Keefer of Krum, Edith O’Neal of Melvern, Ark., Bette Swain of Ashdown, Ark., and Joyce Bellar of Denton; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Georgia May Woolsey, 84, of Odessa, a sales clerk, died Saturday, December 20, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Comanche County.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Juanice Windham of Odessa; sisters, Belva Sims and Mary Wilkins of Odessa; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.

Thomas Castro
STANTON — Thomas Castro, 29, of Stanton, a teacher and coach for Stanton High School, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, in Stanton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stanton High School auditorium with the Rev. Tom Barley officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
He was born in Fort Worth.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Roxanne Castro of Stanton; son, Jacob Thomas of Stanton; parents, John and Helen Herrera Castro of Stanton; brothers, Luis Castro of Lubbock, Carlos Herrera of Fort Worth, and Nathan Castro of Stanton; and sister, Raquel Polson of Stanton.

Terry Davis
MONAHANS — Terry Wesley Davis, 84, of Wickett, retired owner of D&R Roustabout Service, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at his residence in Monahans.
No services are scheduled.
He was born in Fairfax, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Evonne Davis of Wickett; sons, Kelly Floyd of Gainesville, and Rick Floyd and Scott Floyd both of Tacoma, Wash.; daughter, Elizabeth Richardson of San Angelo; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Cecil Holley
ODESSA — Cecil Leon Holley, 85, of Odessa, a retired truck dispatcher, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, at the Clifton Care Center in Clifton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Frank W Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with Lynn Money officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Italy, Texas. He was a long-time resident of Odessa and a WWII Army veteran. He was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Margaret Holley of Odessa; sons, Cecil Leon Holley Jr. of Houston and William Craig Holley of Missouri City, Texas; daughter, Kathy Thorpe of Odessa; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
