ODESSA — Betty Pinkerton, 95, of Odessa died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
James Boyles
ODESSA — James ‘Jim’ Boyles, 74, of Odessa, a retired employee of Gandy’s Dairy, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at Semper Care of Midland.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Breckenridge. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Janice Boyles of Odessa; daughter, Melody Gilbert of Odessa; brothers, Frank Boyles of Tacoma, Wash., Wave Boyles and Don Boyles, both of Odessa; sisters, Leona Moffitt of Odessa and Polly Stevens of Hamilton; and three grandchildren.
Vernon Caudill
LOVINGTON, N.M. — Vernon Caudill, 87, of Lovington, N.M., died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, in Lovington.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lovington cemetery with family members officiating. Arrangements are by Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
He was born in Lovington, N.M.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Betty Caudill of Lovington, N.M.; sons, Hershel Caudill Jr. of Cross Plains, Larry White and Robert White, both of Lovington, N.M.; daughters, Ila May Gilliam of Cross Plains, Evelyn Stanfield, Gale McKee and Lena Pate, all of Lovington, N.M., Vickie Caudill, Zula Faye Duran and Judy Kendall-Caudle, all of Ruidoso, N.M., Barbara Heine of Roswell, N.M., Carrie Lee Bowden of Cross Plains, Claudette Stull of Odessa and Billie Fitzgerald of Woodbridge, Va.; brother, E.P. Caudill of Lovington, N.M.; sister, Norrice Harris of Tatum, N.M.; 44 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Thomas Hall
ODESSA — Thomas Edward Hall, 72, of Gardendale, an oilfield salesman, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at his residence.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Christian Church. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in New Orleans, La. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Sharon King of Odessa and Lisa Twilligear of Gardendale; and two grandchildren.
Betty Ives
ODESSA — Betty Sue Ives, 64, of San Angelo, a retired licensed vocational nurse, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at San Angelo Community Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Charles Tapley officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Rising Star.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Avis Ives of Odessa; brothers, James W. Ives and LeRoy Ives, both of Farmington, N.M., and Jerry R. Ives of Odessa; and sisters, Penny Hite and Sandra Brumit, both of Odessa, and Henry Beth Myers of Alvin.
Mildred McAdoo
ODESSA — Mildred Leona Goddard McAdoo, 102, of Robert Lee died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, in a Robert Lee nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill cemetery in Odessa. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home of Robert Lee.
SURVIVORS: Sister, Wynona Goad of New Kirk, Okla.; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Jimmy Richardson
ODESSA — Jimmy ‘J.R.’ Richardson, 66, of Odessa, owner of a used car business, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at his residence.
Memorial services have been scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Broken Bow, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Dena Richardson of Bulverde; son, Robert Richardson of
New Braunfels; daughters, Rhonda Richardson Grimmett of Murrietta, Calif., Janice K. Richardson and Terry Richardson, both of Bulverde; brother, Rodney Batson of Weatherford; and three grandchildren.
Dora Sosa
FORT STOCKTON — Dora A. Sosa, 68, of Fort Stockton, a nurses’ aide, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at the Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Yolanda Sosa Sanchez of Mooreland, Okla., and Pamela Sosa Foster of Shreveport, La.; son, Rene Sosa of Fort Stockton; sisters, Phylis Guzman of New York, N.Y., Elida Morales of Fort Stockton and Paula Acosta of Odessa; brothers, Monico Aguilera of Carlsbad, N.M., Samuel Aguilera of Fort Stockton and Reymundo Aguilera of Odessa; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

STRAWN — Danny Speegle, 45, of Fort Worth, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Strawn, Texas. Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home.
He was born in Borger. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Sue Speegle of Odessa; sister, Brenda Hemphill of Odessa; brother, Darrell Speegle of Bluff Dale; and grandfather, H.R. Speegle of Stephenville.

ANDREWS - Mozelle Clark Abee, 82, of Mineral Wells, a nurse, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at Palo Pinto Nursing Center in Mineral Wells.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Dean Williamson officiating. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Haley. She was a member of the Assemblies of God.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Glynda Snyder of Weatherford and Betty Miller of Houston; brother, Charles Howard of Odessa; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Glen David Dorris, 39, of Odessa, a car salesman, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at his residence.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Temple Baptist Church with Griffin Jones officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Monahans.

James Dugan Sr.
CLYDE - James Thomas Dugan Sr., 81, of Clyde, a pumper supervisor for A.W. Adkisson, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at his residence.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joachims Catholic Church. Graveside services will be at Clyde Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Bailey Funeral Home of Clyde.
He was born in Clyde and was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the 117th Seabee Battalion.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lou Maness Dugan of Clyde; daughters, Cynthia Worden of Plano and Susan Reeves of San Angelo; sons, Weldon Dugan of Tucson, Ariz., and Michael Dugan of Clyde; brothers, Joe Dugan of Clyde and Ed Dugan of Rochester, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

SWEET SPRINGS, Mo. - Joy Marie Franks, 26, of Sedalia, Mo., a dispatcher for Ditzfeld Trucking, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, in Sedalia.
Services will be held 1:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Sweet Springs with William W. Harlow officiating. Arrangements are by Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall, Mo.
She was born in Odessa.
