LIBERTY HILL — Tommie Bowman, 89, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Permian Residential Care Center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Liberty Hill cemetery in Liberty Hill with Wylie McMahon officiating. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Calf Creek and moved to Andrews from Midland in 2003. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Menard.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Peggy Douglas of Burnet and Jan Castleman of Andrews; sister, Pauline Duncan of Pasco, Wash.; brothers, Elvin Kolb and J.B. Kolb, both of Three Rivers; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Higgins
MONAHANS — Kenneth Allen Higgins, 62, of Monahans, a retired employee of Halliburton, died Monday, April 26, 2004, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Southside Baptist Church with Craig Rhoton officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home.
He was born in Clear Springs, Md. He was an Army veteran and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: Son, Kerry Higgins of Midland; daughter, Debra Whiddon of Andrews; brothers, Paul Higgins of Granbury and Archie Higgins of Monahans; sister, Judy Peek of New Home; and two grandchildren.

Jennie Pittman
ANDREWS — Jennie Lou Pittman, 78, of Andrews, former owner and operator of the Park-In-Wash Laundry and the Skating Rink, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, in Andrews.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Donnell officiating. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Son, Larry Pittman of Andrews; daughter, Beverly Hamilton of Midland; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Ina Scott
PECOS — Ina Scott, 78, of Pecos, died Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Reeves County Hospital.
Services are pending with Pecos Funeral Home.

C.R. Coker
MIDLAND — C.R. Coker, 85, of Midland, a retired truck driver and pumper for Shell Oil Co., died Monday, April 26, 2004.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Henderson County.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Arrelia Coker of Midland; daughters, Jackie Hamilton and Billie June Neatherlin, both of Midland, Maylene Hilbun of Brownwood; sisters, Virgie May Nobles and Jewel Carmichael, both of Eustace; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Lorena Gomez
MCCAMEY — Lorena A. Gomez, 45, of McCamey, a homemaker, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at her residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Nilo Nalugon officiating. Burial will be at the Resthaven cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Iraan. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Anna Bravo of Willis and Tiffany Acosta of Montgomery; son, Paul Acosta of McCamey; parents, Pete and Katy Gomez of McCamey; brothers, Michael Gomez and Adam Gomez, both of McCamey, and Peter Gomez of Midland; sister, Velma Gomez of Conroe; and six grandchildren.

Wayne McGrady
ODESSA — Wayne McGrady, 50, of Odessa, a roughneck in the oilfield, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clydell Chapman officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Crowell cemetery in Crowell. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Vernon.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Darrell McGrady of Odessa; and sister, Sherry Tuveson of Odessa.

Yolanda Quintella
FORT STOCKTON — Yolanda Quintella, 60, of Fort Stockton, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, in Fort Stockton.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at the Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, Noe Quintela and John Quintella, both of Fort Stockton, and Joel Quintella of San Angelo.

Noah Ramirez
STANTON — Noah Elijah Ramirez, infant son of Victor and Theresa Ramirez of Midland, died Monday, April 26, 2004.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery with Ernie Sanchez officiating. Arrangements were by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
SURVIVORS: Parents; grandparents, Patricio and Gabina Ramirez of Stanton, Mary Sanchez of Midland and Raymond Ramos of Stanton.

Yvonne Workman
ODESSA — Yvonne Workman, 61, of Robert Lee, a former employee of Nurses Unlimited, died Monday, April 26, 2004, at her residence.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at West Odessa First Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home.
She was born in Seagraves and lived in Odessa for 10 years.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Tina Kinney of Midland and Christy Meeks of Magnolia; mother, Agnes Nelson of Andrews; brother, Ronny Nelson of Jasper, Ala.; sisters, Shirley Yvonne Alcorn of Conroe, Betty Jane Wooten of Odessa, Shirley Locke of Bronte and Sharon Digby of Rockland; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

John Yates
MONAHANS — John Marshall Yates, 69, of Monahans, an antiques dealer, died Monday, April 26, 2004, at Monahans Managed Care Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Monahans Memorial cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Jeff Box officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services/ Jackie Harkey.
He was born in Abilene.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Rebecca Jean Cemper of Paige, Neb.; sister, Winifred Waller of Albany; and two grandchildren.
