ODESSA — W. K. Murray, 96, of Odessa, a former teacher, died Friday, April 30, 2004, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Owen Sharp officiating. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
She moved to Odessa in the 1950s.
SURVIVORS: Nephew, William Randolph Fair III of Shreveport.
Celia Flores
MONAHANS - Celia Oyerbides Flores, 72, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Monday, March 22, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Third and Dwight Church of Christ with Greg Holly officiating. Burial will be at the Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
She was born in Colorado City.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Luis Flores of Monahans; sons, Joby Flores and Armando Flores, both of Monahans, and Angel Flores of Alice; daughter, Yolanda Woods of Monahans; brothers, Miquel Oyerbides of Monahans and Fidel Oyerbides of Lubbock; sister, Cenida Valencia of Monahans; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Margaret Lehnert
DENVER CITY - Margaret Lehnert, 68, of Denver City, a homemaker, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at Yoakum County Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Denver City Memorial Park with the Rev. Bob Fred officiating. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Gonzales and moved to Denver City in 1959.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Harvey Gene Lehnert of Fort Stockton, Gary Lynn Lehnert of Seagraves and Ricky Lehnert of Hobbs, N.M.; daughters, Paula Lange of Ballinger and Angela Lehnert of Denver City; brothers, Clarence Filip of Espanola, N.M., and Lawrence Filip and Daniel Filip, both of Houston; sisters, Margie Blank and Carolyn Coppedge, both of Cuero, and Marolyn Schendel of Victoria; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Freda McElmurry
HOBBS, N.M. - Freda Mildred Hall McElmurry, 86, formerly of Odessa, a former employee of Murphy-Rachester, died Friday, March 19, 2004, in Kingsland.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prairie Haven cemetery in Hobbs, N.M. Arrangements are by Putnam Funeral Home of Kingsland.
She was born in San Saba County and lived in Odessa for more than 40 years.
SURVIVORS: Sisters, Nancy Cottingham of San Diego, Calif., and Grace Forrester of Granite Shoals; brothers, Gordon Hall of Spokane, Wash., and Warren Hall of Pearland; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Margarete Moore
CRANE - Margarete 'Margie' Rust Moore, 66, of Crane, a former secretary for the Crane County Extension office, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Hester officiating. Burial will be at the Crane County cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Crane.
SURVIVORS: Son, Major Joe Wesley Moore of Omaha, Neb.; daughter, Lora Gay Seabourn of Crane; brother, Dee Rust of Ocala, Fla.; sisters, Norma Stricklin of Midland, Marcia Hammond of El Dorado Hills, Calif., and Martha Burleson of Laga Vista; and eight grandchildren.
Billy Patterson
FORT STOCKTON - Billy M. Patterson, 75, of Fort Stockton, a retired truck pusher, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.D. Jackson officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Wyaunettia Patterson of Fort Stockton; son, Danny Patterson of Anchorage, Alaska; daughters, Laura May Hamilton of Carthage, Mo., and Jeanie Barns of Chilicathy, Ala.; brother, J.C. Patterson of Farmington, N.M.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mickey Price
DUMAS - Mickey L. Price, 46, of Dumas, a pilot, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, in Pyote.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Dumas with Eddy Godfrey and the Rev. Eddie Tubbs officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Earth Memorial cemetery in Earth, Texas. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
He was born in Olton. He was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Karen Price of Dumas; daughters, Kristen Garcia of Dumas and Sam Price of Amarillo; son, Jett Price of Dumas; mother, Novella Martin of Turkey, Texas; brothers, Monty Price of Geneva, Ill., and Max Price of Cottonwood, Ariz.; sister, Mona Wheeler of Turkey, Texas; and one grandchild.
Espiria Salazar
ODESSA - Espiria C. Salazar, 83, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday March 21, 2004, at her residence.
Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Partain officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Donna, Texas. She was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Sons, John Salazar, Joe Salazar Jr. and David Salazar, all of Odessa; daughters, Hilda Tagle of Alice, Irma Salazar, Linda Araiga, Doreen Natividad, Salley Tenorio and Irene Lucero, all of Odessa; brothers, Lorenzo Cruz of Pharr and Ignacio Cruz Jr. of LaGrulla; sister, Anna Garcia of Shreveport, La.; 38 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

ALPINE - Carl Ware Shults Jr., 71, of Alpine, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at Alpine Valley Care Nursing Home.

ODESSA - Samuel Luis 'S.L.' Tiner, 85, of Odessa, former owner and operator of Tiner Construction Co., died Monday, March 22, 2004, at the Hospice House.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Watkins officiating. Burial will be at the Odessa cemetery. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Pocahontas, Ark. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Kathleen Tiner of Odessa; daughter, Jean Tiner Rinehart of Midland; stepson, Randle Whitney of Georgetown; sisters, Nadine Andrews of Watertown, Tenn.; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
