ANDREWS — Margarita “Maggie” Mireles, 67, of Andrews, a housekeeper, died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas C. Kelley officiating. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in San Antonio. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Frank Mireles Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz., Thomas Mireles of Midland and Jimmy Mireles of Andrews; sisters, Ophie Martinez and Rosalinda Rodriguez, both of Wichita, Kan., and Elena Rodriguez of San Antonio; brothers, Ray Martinez of Wichita, Kan., and Raymond Martinez of Greeley, Colo.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Rosendo Urias
SARAGOSA — Rosendo Losoya Urias, 70, of Presidio, died Friday, June 18, 2004, at his residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Gustavo Lopez officiating. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Tomasa Urias of Presidio; sons, Dario Urias of Presidio and Sixto Urias and Fidel Urias of Ojinaga, Mexico; daughters, Guadalupe Dominguez of Seminole, Monserat Hinojos of Midland, Lucia Olivas of Saragosa, Emma Rey of Presidio, Maria Guadalupe Hernandez of Great-Bend, Kan., Yolanda Alvarez of Lovington, N.M., Anna Urias of Presidio and Sandra Gonzales of Midland; brothers, Jesus Olivas of Roswell, N.M., Julian Olivas of Portales, N.M., Lasaro Olivas of Dexter, N.M., Francisco Olivas, Gullermo Olivas and Timoteo Olivas, all of Fort Stockton, and Manuel Olivas of Van Horn; sisters, Juliana Bursiaga of Portales, N.M., Antonia Hernandez and Teodora Contreras, both of Saragosa, Ramona Mireles of Crane, Siquia Olivas of Clovis, N.M., and Lonjina Zapata of Morton; 30 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Rita Sanchez De Baeza
PECOS — Rita Sanchez De Baeza, 89, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at her residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. June 18, 2004, at Santa Rosa Church. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
She was born in El Mesquite Ohinaja, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Pablo Baeza of Pecos, Ireno Baeza of Tula and Teodoro Baeza of Amarillo; daughters, Maria Luisa Baeza de Baeza of Burlington, Colo., Maria De Jesus Baeza De Payen of Pecos, Agustina Baeza De Paz of Mesqui, Chihuahua, Mexico, Manuela Baeza De Rodriguez of Elida, N.M., and Rocto Baeza De Bernabel of Liberal, Kan.; brother, Celestino Sanchez of Tatum, N.M.; sister, Angeleta Sanchez De Ontiveros of Chihuahua, Mexico; 31 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.

Bettie Cook
LOMETA — Bettie Sue Cook, 77, of Lometa, died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Hines Chapel cemetery. Arrangements are by Dodson-Sneed Funeral Homes.
She was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Lynn Cook of San Angelo; daughters, Betty Brown of Leander, Nancy Timmons of Comanche, Pearline Halsell of Bryan and Carol Cook of Somerville; sisters, Orean Porter and Wanda Payne, both of Lampasas, Lue Pruett of Mead, Okla.,
and Bea Templeton of Austin; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

ALPINE — Manuel “Cougar” Fierro Jr., 37, of Alpine, died Saturday, June 12, 2004, in Alpine.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial will be at Holy Angels cemetery. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Alpine.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Delia Fierro of Alpine; sister, Victoria Fierro of Alpine; and brothers, Samuel Fierro and Randy Fierro, both of El Paso and Bobby Fierro and Gary Fierro, both of Odessa.

Evelyn Holder
ANDREWS — Evelyn L. Holder, 69, of Andrews, a retired employee of Permian Regional Hospital, died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Alliance Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Melton officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Electra. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, James R. Holder of Andrews; daughters, Charlotte Brown of Midland, Debbie Riordan of Porterville, Calif., and Sandra Tidwell and Tammy O’Bannon, both of Andrews; brother, Alan Cowling of Seattle, Wash.; sisters, Pauline Worton of Electra, Catherine Holt of Wheeler, Tootsie Boggey of Marble Falls and Jackie Bergenheir of Wichita Falls; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

W.F. Nobles Jr.
MCCAMEY — W.F. “Nick” Nobles Jr., 88, of McCamey, a foreman in the oilfield, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004, in Resthaven cemetery with the Rev. Mike Wright officiating. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in Tow. He served in the Army.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Marie Nobles of McCamey; daughters, Carolynd Winfield of San Angelo and Nell Anderson of Crane; son, Mike Nobles of El Paso; sisters, L.V. Delz, Zula Mae Ormiston and Ann Brown, all of Kingsland; brother, Earl Nobles of Kingsland; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

MIDLAND — Peggy Louise Wallace, 59, of Midland, a retired employee of Texaco, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. today at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Mark Woodruff officiating Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Dallas.
SURVIVORS: Sons, J. Don Wallace and Robert Wallace, both of Midland and Cary Wallace of Seattle, Wash.; daughter, Lynne Wallace of Rock Springs, Wyo.; and six grandchildren.

He was born in Duncan, Okla.
