KERMIT — Corrine Edith Slay, 85, of Hobbs, N.M., a homemaker, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at Lee Regional Medical Center in Hobbs, N.M.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dudley Mullins officiating. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
She was born in Morse, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jerry Slay of Carman, Ill., James Slay of Cushing, Okla., Mark Slay of Kermit, Scott Slay of Hobbs, N.M., Gary Slay of Barling, Ark., and Pat Slay of Cedarville, Ark.; brothers, Donnie Kope of Calif., and Neil Kope; sister, Susan Kope; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Floyd Doty
ODESSA — Floyd Doty, 84, of Odessa, died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Hospice House.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Patsy Herren
ODESSA — Patsy Herren, 71, of Odessa, a Marine recruiter, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at Regency Hospital.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Weeks Dubose officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in McCamey. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Traci Herren of Odessa; brothers, Joe Coplen of San Angelo, Jerry Coplen of Midland and Eddie Coplen of Buena Vista, Ark.; sister, Helen Reed of Argyle; and two grandchildren.

Billie Love
ODESSA — Billie Love, 76, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, in Garland.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sixth and Jackson Church of Christ with Bennie Keck officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Birmingham, Ala.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Ralph Love of Odessa; son, William Curtis Love of Burke, Va.; daughter, Rory Qualls of Garland; sisters, Edith Garrison of Center Point, Ala., and Marian Pike of Pensacola, Fla.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Jose Santiago
GRANDFALLS — Jose Santiago, 68, of Grandfalls, a heavy equipment operator, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Parish Hall of St. Gertrude Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Tamarisk cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services/ Jackie Harkey.
He was born in Boquillas.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Margarita Santiago of Grandfalls; son, Jose Santiago Jr. of Odessa; daughters, Linda Rodriquez and Cindy Tavarez, both of Grandfalls, and Angie Porras of Espanola, N.M.; brother, Manuel Santiago of Monahans; sisters, Lenor Calderon of Odessa, Nina Ornelas of Grandfalls, Catarina Campos of Pecos and Marsela Rodriquez of Fort Stockton; 20 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Travis Bell
ODESSA — Travis Luther Bell, 75, of Odessa, a retired City of Odessa employee, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at Avalon Nursing Home.
Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Pedro Almanza
ODESSA — Pedro “Pete” Almanza, 81, of Odessa, the retired owner of Pete’s Barber Shop, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Hospice House.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Stockdale. He served in the Army.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Pete Almanza and Benny Almanza, both of Odessa; daughters, Linda Villagran, Geneva Holland and Evelyn Garcia, all of Odessa; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

James Beauchamp
PLAINVIEW — James Ernest Beauchamp, 77, of Bodfish, Calif., a retired farmer and oil field laborer, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, in Bakersfield, Calif.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.
He was born in Temple.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jeffrey Neal Beauchamp of Kermit and Jack L. Beauchamp of Kaufman; daughter, Georgia Carol Peters of Bodfish, Calif.; brother, Carroll Hardie Beauchamp of Bakersfield, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Johnny Martinez
STANTON — Johnny Martinez, 48, of Lubbock, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, in Stanton.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery with the Rev. Clemente Villa officiating. Arrangements are by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
He was born in Killeen.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, Felix Martinez and Jimmy Martinez, both of Taylor; and sisters, Lupe Rodriguez of Stanton and Maria Ramirez of Plainview.

STANTON — Anastacia M. Rodriguez, 53, of Big Spring, a homemaker, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Scenic Mountain Medical Hospital.

She was born in Odessa.

She was born in Pecos. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Arturo Chavez of Pecos and Hector Chavez of San Angelo; daughters, Eva Chavez of Pecos, Gloria Holguin of San Angelo and Anita Chavez of Monahans; brother, Feliciano “Felix” Lara of Midland and Juanita Lara of Pecos; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
