PECOS - Martha Barrier, 68, of Pecos, a retired cook, died Saturday, July 24, 2004, at Regency Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Mart. She was Pentecostal.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Debra Terry of Pecos and Shirley Barrier of Waco; brothers, Eddy Ferguson of Pecos and Willie Lee and Wallace Wright, both of Houston; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Glen Brown
KILGORE - Glen 'Pete' Brown, 58, of Kilgore, an employee of Patterson Drilling Company, died Tuesday, July 26, 2004, in a Tyler hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Assembly of God Church. Burial will be at Kilgore Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Rader Funeral Home.
He was born in Wichita Falls. He served in the Army.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Rhonda Brown of Kilgore; daughter, Stephanie McDaniel of Longview; son, Glen Brown Jr. of Calif.; brothers, C.B. Brown of Monahans and Sam Brown of Weatherford; sisters, June Segars of Denver City, Lillian Weatherford of Olney, Martha Carnely Brown of Abilene and Barbara Arispe of Graham; and four grandchildren.

Resa Hembree
ODESSA - Resa Ellen Hembree, 65, of Odessa, a convenience store manager, died Monday, July 27, 2004, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jay Mayo officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in San Angelo.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Billy Johnson of Palestine and David Walden of Odessa; daughter, Trisha Cline of Mont.; sisters, Jimmie Taylor of Ga., and Mona Townsin of Fredericksburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

John Kennedy
ANDREWS - John S. Kennedy, 77, of Andrews, a retired lease operator for Mobil Oil, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, in Andrews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Ballinger. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Oma Lee of Andrews; daughters, Dedra Rowley of Houston and Gayla Kennedy of Andrews; sister, Helen Earnshaw of Ballinger; and six grandchildren.

Jesse Mayfield Jr.
ODESSA - Jesse Murl Mayfield Jr., 79, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born in Greenville.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Lortho Mayfield of Odessa; and sister, Evelyn Matthews of Lawton, Okla.

Ysidro Sanchez
FORT STOCKTON - Ysidro F. Sanchez Jr., 81, of Fort Stockton, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services and rosary will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Ozona. He was in the Navy.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Manuela G. Sanchez of Fort Stockton; sons, Ruben Sanchez and Albert Sanchez, both of Fort Stockton; sisters, Naomi Lopez of Odessa and Sofia Sanchez of Fort Stockton; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

ANDREWS - Eula Southard, 80, of Andrews, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at Permian Residential Care Center.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Andrews North cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Hays, Kan. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Vernon Southard of Andrews; daughters, Vicky Parrott of Gainesville, Fla., and La Nell Turpin of Amarillo; and three grandchildren.

ALPINE — Jeff Graham, 90, of Alpine, a retired regional director for the Texas Vocational Commission, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at Manor Park Nursing Home in Midland.
Military graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Marfa City cemetery. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Del Rio. He served in the Army.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Marjorie Knight Graham of Midland; sons, Ron Graham of Midland and Robert Graham of Boerne; and six grandchildren.

Octaviano Lopez Jr.
FORT STOCKTON - Octaviano Lopez Jr., 92, of Ejirdo Piedritas, Coah., Mexico, a retired farmer, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, in Fort Stockton.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Templo Truimpho de la Fe with Jesus Guevara officiating. Burial was at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements were by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Ocampo, Coah., Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Teresa Bernal of Fort Stockton; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

Wylie Queen
ODESSA — Wylie D. Queen, 77, of Big Spring, a retired truck driver for Permian Corporation, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Carroll Kohl officiating. Arrangements are by Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home and Crematory of Big Spring.
He was born in Decatur, Ga. He served in the Army and Air Force.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Miles Queen of Citonelle, Ala., and Kyle Queen of San Angelo.

Douglas J. Ward
ODESSA — Douglas J. Ward, 60, the manager at the Pro Shop in Monahans, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at the VA Medical Center in Dallas.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Wellington and served in the U.S. Army.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Romelia Ward of Gardendale; sons, Derek Ward of Gardendale, and Norman Ward of Lexington; daughters, Jennifer Eggers of Dodge City, Kan., and Edith Garcia of Odessa; and six grandchildren.

ODESSA — Willie Jackson, 78, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

He was born in Chapelhills.

She was born in Scottsboro, Ala., and was a former resident of Colorado City.

OJINAGA, Mexico — Angel Salcido Garcia, 77, of Midland, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, in Midland.

He was born in Pilares, and was a former resident of Ojinaga.
