ODESSA — James M. “George” Williams, 87, of Odessa, a retiree from City Services, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Breckenridge.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Louise Williams of Odessa; sons, Charles Lout of Odessa, James W. Williams of Kirkland, N.M., and Roger L. Williams of Sweeny; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

MONAHANS — Mitchell Derron Brock, 47, of Monahans, a boiler maker, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, in Odessa.

KERMIT — L.L. “Strawberry” Deaton, 95, of Kermit, a retiree of Union Oil, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, in Brownsville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
He was born in Chicota.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jon Grady Deaton of Brownsville; daughter, Leta Gay Roden of Salado; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Eulalia Huerta
MONAHANS — Eulalia “La-La” Huerta, 89, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at Monahans Managed Care Center.
Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home.
She was born in Mexico. She was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sister, Eva Silvas of Monahans.

Max McCrary Jr.
LA UNION, N.M. — Max McCrary Jr., 83, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, in La Union.
Memorial services were held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at La Viña Winery. Arrangements are by San Jose Funeral Home of El Paso.
He was born in Calvert. He served in the Navy.
SURVIVORS: Son, Stephen “Dalton” McCrary; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

McCAMEY — Virgle Matthew Reeves II, 37, of McCamey, a roustabout in the oilfield, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, in Beeville.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Resthaven cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in Hobbs, N.M. He was in the National Guard, Army Reserve.

ODESSA — Dorothy Jean Woods, 73, of Odessa, a retired supervisor, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Greater Saint John Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. R.C. Gentry and E.J. Miller officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery Odessa Section. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Marlin.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Doris Fay Smith of Amarillo and Cynthia Patterson, Sherley Fay Taylor and Jessie Jean Woods, all of Odessa and Fekicia Grant of San Diego; sisters, Jessie Lou Boston of Denver, Willie Mae Jones of Odessa and Prince Judy, Clestine Angle and Emma Reed, all of Fort Worth; and brother, Jesse Lee Anderson Jr. of Fort Worth.
