Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Ollie Mayfield
ODESSA - Ollie Maye Mayfield, 80, of Odessa, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at Hospice House.
Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Verna Alcorn
MINERAL WELLS — Verna Jean Alcorn, 78, of Mineral Wells, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, in a Mineral Wells nursing home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Salesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Lonnie DeArmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Salesville cemetery. Arrangements by Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner.
She was born in Mineral and lived in Mineral Wells most of her life. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Mark Alcorn of Mineral Wells, brothers, Bob Wilson of Mineral Wells and Roy Wilson of The Villages, Fla.; sisters: Mae Folk of Mineral Wells and Frances Davis of Odessa; step-sister, Imogene Cooke of Mineral Wells; one grandchild; three step grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Oden
LUBBOCK — Dorothy L. Oden, 84, of Lubbock, a retired school teacher, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at Kermit Healthcare Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Lubbock. Burial will follow in Lubbock City cemetery. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
She was born in Lubbock County.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Sharron Fires of Kermit; and one grandchild.
Margarette ‘Snooks’ Furner
ODESSA - Margarette “Snooks” Furner, 87, a retail sales person, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at a local retirement home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry Tamplen and the Rev. Blossom Matthews officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ada, Okla.
She was born in Stonewall, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Son, Max Howard-Lloyd of Midland; brother, Chas “Buddy” Burnett of Odessa; and sister, Corana Elliott of Pinole, Calif.
Lorraine Perry
ODESSA - Lorraine Perry, 80, of Odessa, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Seward, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Russell Perry and David Perry, both of Odessa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Delores Rodriguez
ODESSA - Delores Rodriguez, 57, of San Diego, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, in San Diego.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at River of Life Church.
She was born in Des Arc, Ark.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Mike Price of San Diego and Christopher Rodriguez of Glendale, Ariz.; daughter, Kim Riley of Phoenix; brothers, C.B. Walters of Odessa, Shermon Walters of Lovington, N.M., and Donald Walters of Rocky Face, Ga.; sisters, Maxine Strickland of Rendon, Sherron Brimingham of Wautauga and Sandra Dalton of Arlington; and three grandchildren.
Justin Unger Jr.
SEMINOLE - Justin Unger Jr., 54, of Seminole, a previous farm laborer, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reinlander Mennonite Church with Henry Reimer officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery South.
He was born in Mexico. He was a member of Reinlander Mennonite Church.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Henry Unger, Abe Unger, Neil Unger, Peter Unger and John Unger, all of Seminole; daughters, Elizabeth Fehr, Christina Redekop and Tina Unger, all of Seminole; brothers, Cornelius Unger, George Unger and Jacob Unger, all of Mexico and Peter Unger of Parguera; sisters, Elizabeth Friesen, Mary Peters and Sarah Peters, all of Mexico; and 15 grandchildren.
Lou Ann Wilkerson
COMANCHE - Lou Ann Wilkerson, 54, of Comanche, a registered nurse, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Burns officiating. Burial will be at Energy cemetery.
She was born in Odessa. She was a member of Board Church in Comanche County.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Gary Wilkerson, of Comanche; sons, Josh Wilkerson of Comanche and Chris Ingram of Houston; daughter, Amanda Blissard of Big Spring; mother, Margie Marrs of Odessa; sister, Loree Britt of Midland; and three grandchildren.
Plummer Ashburn
Odessa - Plummer Ashburn, 96, of Odessa, died Wednesday, a retired Gulf Oil Co. employee, died Nov. 24, 2004, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He was born in West Union, W.Va..

Odessa - Margaret Louise “Lucy” Brown, 88, of Torrington, Wyo., died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Goshen Care Center in Torrington, Wyo.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Allan Farquhar and Peggy Brown officiating. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Anson. She was Presbyterian.
Survivors: Son, Michael Brown of Snyder; daughters, Linda Brown of Fort Wroth and Peggy Brown of Torrington, Wyo.; and two grandchildren.

Odessa - Bill E. Green, 83, of Odessa, died Sunday, a retired Army veteran and homebuilder, Nov. 21, 2004, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
He was born in Waldrup, Miss. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God.

Pecos - Julia Olivas, 59, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Gustavo Lopez officiating. A rosary was said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
She was born in Barrancos, Chihuahua, Mexico, and was a lifetime resident of Pecos. She was Catholic.
Survivors: Husband, Geronimo Olivas of Pecos; sons, Humberto Urias and Cesar Urias, both of Pecos, Filomeno Urias of Midland and Ezequiel Urias of Austin; daughters, Enedina U. Prieto of Andrews, Yolanda Urias of Austin, Juany U. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday Nov. 26, 2004, at First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born Custer, Mont.
Survivors: Daughter, Janeen Colee of Odessa; son, Tony Schoonover of Las Vegas; sister, Agnes Myers of Billings, Mont.; brother, Richard Schreiber of Billings, Mont.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Barney C. Bavousett, 80, of Goldsmith, a truck driver, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery with Charles Tapley officiating.
He was born in Mesilla Park, N.M.
SURVIVORS Wife, Margaret Bavousett of Goldsmith; sons, Walter Bavousett and Robert Bavousett, both of Odessa and Earl Bavousett of Seagraves; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

CRANE - Erma Nell Haswell, 87, of Crane, a past clerk for the T & P Clothiers in Crane, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Alliance Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Krueger officiating. Burial will be at Crane County cemetery.
She was born in Ola, Ark. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
