PORTALES, N.M. — Gladys Ferguson, 80, of Portales, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Terry Tamplen officiating. Burial will be at Portales cemetery. Arrangements are by Wheeler Mortuary of Portales, Inc.
She was born in Lorain, Ohio.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jim Ferguson of Roswell, N.M., and Dan Ferguson of Odessa; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Gatha Sheppard
SAN ANGELO — Gatha Mae Sheppard, 81, of San Angelo, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at a San Angelo hospital.
Services are pending with Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.

Lucille Sutton-Beck
ODESSA — Lucille Sutton-Beck, 84, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Hezekiah Lewis and Charles Martin officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery Rose Hill Section. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Carthage.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Henry Bel Beck of Odessa and Harvey Harper of San Angelo; sisters, Hazel Servance and Mildred Bert, both of Odessa; brother, Roscoe Sutton of Odessa; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Freddie Reeves
ODESSA — Freddie Gaile Reeves, 60, of Richardson, a salesperson, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at Richardson Regional Medical Center in Richardson.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Burt Groves officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Niece, Vicky Windham of Missouri City.

Dionicia Monclova
MARATHON — Dionicia Monclova, 88, of San Antonio, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at Fredericksburg Care Center in San Antonio.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial will be at Marathon cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home in Fort Stockton.
She was born in Marathon.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Pablo Monclova, Luis Monclova and Enrique Monclova, all of Alpine; daughters, Yolanda Estrada of San Antonio and Elodia Ramos of Alpine; brother, Justino Rodriguez of Alamosa, Colo.; sisters, Felicita Ogas of Dallas, Geronima Ortiz of Fort Stockton and Claudia Rodriguez and Lucia Salmon, both of Marathon; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Frances Matilda Schlemeyer, 66, of Odessa, a retired schoolteacher, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eugene Ray officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
She was born in Hobbs, N.M. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, George Schlemeyer of Arlington and Carl Schlemeyer of Odessa; and sister, Mary Ray of Carlsbad, N.M.

Luis Carrasco
MARFA - Luis Carrasco, 78, of Marfa, a rancher, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at his residence.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Merced cemetery.
He was born in Carlsbad, N.M. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Graciela Carrasco of Marfa; son, Omero Carrasco of Marfa; daughters, Alpha Silva of Dallas, Rosa Ceniceros of Pama and Virginia Platt and Delma Carrasco, both of Houston; brothers, Conrado Carrasco of Aldama, Mexico, Guadalupe Carrasco of Marfa and Jesus Sanchez of Indio, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Audrey Louder
STANTON - Audrey Louder, 85, of Stanton, owner of The Shoe Box and co-owner and bookkeeper of Louder Electric, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Stanton with the Rev. David Harp officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery.
She was born in Los Angeles. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Stanton.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Sarah Barnes of Stanton and Linda Huckaby of Muleshoe; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Arline Anne (Dillon) Ramey
FORT STOCKTON - Arline Anne (Dillon) Ramey, 77, of Fort Stockton, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, in Pecos County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in New York.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Matt Campbell of Phoebe and Steve Campbell of Calif.; daughters, Leslie Campbell of Falls Church, Va., and Victoria Sami Campbell of Ore.; and nine grandchildren.

BIG SPRING - Bertie Faye Shaw, 74, of Knott, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, in a Big Spring hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born in Ackerly. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Knott.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Larry Shaw of Knott; son, Larry Don Shaw of Austin; daughter, Linda Johnson of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters, Laura Gene Lawson of Albuquerque, N.M., and Wanda Stump of Bastrop; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Manuela Carrasco DeLaO, 104, a homemaker, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Geeslin Funeral Home in Alpine. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial will be at Holy Angels cemetery.
She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico. She was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS Son, Jose DeLaO of Odessa; daughter, Frances Rios of Odessa; 29 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Ethel McCleery, 82, of San Antonio, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, in San Antonio.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Burt Groves officiating.
She was born in Benjamin. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS Son, Marvin R. McCleery; and four grandchildren.

Robert Leroy Peoples
CRANE - Robert Leroy Peoples, 49, of Iraan, a diesel mechanic for Garrison Contractors in Iraan, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crane County cemetery.
He was born in McCamey.
SURVIVORS Daughters, Robbie DeAnn Peoples of Sweetwater, Melissa Rochelle Peoples of San Angelo, Heather Renae Peoples of Big Spring and Meagan Nicole Peoples of Harrisburg, Ken.; son, Robert Leroy Peoples III of Harrisburg; brother, Bobby Eugene Boyd Peoples of Big Spring; sisters, Linda Stoudenmire of Big Spring and Roberta DeVoge of Pecos; and seven grandchildren.

CRANE — Hazel J. Blake, 85 of Midland, a former Phillips Petroleum Co. employee, died on Saturday, Oct. 2 in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 3 today at the Crane County cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Parker officiating. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Hazel was born in DeLeon. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, J.L. Blake of Hobbs, N.M.; sons, Steve Wilkes of Littleton, Colo., William Johnson and Carl Blake, both of Midland, and Curtis Blake of Hobbs; daughters, Charlotte Skinner of Texarkana, and Connie Calobreves of Midland; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

ODESSA — Minnie Otts Sneed, 84, of Odessa, a homemaker and a World War II-era riveter, died Friday, Oct. 1 in Carthage.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Byron McWilliams officiating. Arrangements are by Hawthorn Funeral Home of Carthage.
She was born in Earlsboro, Okla. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Danny Sneed of Carthage and Mike Sneed of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; sisters, Edith Ratcliff of Oklahoma City, Okla.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

John Boyd
ALPINE — John Robinson Boyd Jr., 83, of Alpine, a retired federal employee, died Friday, Oct. 1 at an Odessa hospital.
Funder services will be at 10 a.m Wednesday at the First Methodist Church in Alpine with the Rev. Dick Zimmer officiating. Bureial will be at Elm Grove cemetery. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton. He was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Wife, June Patton Boyd of Alpine; daughters, Becky Leaf of Lubbock, Roxy Dandidge of Tarpley and Donna Yadon and Bobbi Sledge, both of Alpine; sisters, Mary Margaret Morris of Midland and Phylena Carlton of Alpine; brothers, D.J.
