Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Griffin Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill cemetery. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Andrews.
Survivors Mother, Irma Eilenberg of Odessa; father, Ermin Bejarano Sr. of Hondo; grandparent, Conrada Bejarano of Andrews; brother, Ely Bejarano of Fort Davis; sisters, Flor Millan of Andrews, and Elaine Bejarano of Fort Davis.

Steven Randolph Escarsega
Odessa - Steven Randolph Escarsega, 11-month-old infant son of Simon and Evalyn Yancy Escarsega, of Odessa, died Jan. 29, 2005, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, BabyLand. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa. He was a Christian.
Survivors Parents, Simon and Evalyn Y. Escarsega of Odessa; grandparents, Randy and Debbie Yancy, and Enrique and Francisca Escarsega, both of Odessa; brother, Simon Escarsega Jr. of Odessa; sisters, Faith Y. Escarsega and Hope Marie “Esperanza” Escarsega, both of Odessa.

Midland - Edward Lee “Monk” Collins, 88, of Midland, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, in Midland.
Funeral services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Ellis.

Lamar, Colo. - Junior “J.G.” Garrett, 78, of Lamar, Colo., died Jan. 29, 2005, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar, Colo., with the Rev. Gary Ogle officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount cemetery. Arrangements are by Peacock Funeral Home.

Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Family Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Saint John Catholic Church. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery.
Survivors Son, Olsvaldo Huertas of Midland; daughters, April Mullins and Christina Mullins, both of Dallas; brothers, Pascual Gomez, Arturo Huertas, Manuel Huertas, and Sammy Huertas, all of Monahans, Abel Huertas of Crane, and Eddie Huertas of Odessa; sisters, Mary Valezuela of Monahans, Sally Whitfield of Farmington, N.M., Ofelia Pacheco of Amarillo, Ellia Foust of McCamey, Lydia Rodriquez of Midland, and Amelia Sanchez of Crane; and one grandchild.

Sebero Bueno Jaquez
Pecos - Sebero Bueno Jaquez, 73, of Pecos, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Revs. Manuel Munoz, Paul Mata, and Gustavo Lopez officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Verhalen. He was a Catholic. He was an Army veteran.

Jaquez of Pecos; sons, Sebero Jaquez Jr. of Pecos, Michael Jaquez and Jaime Jaquez, both of Austin, Phillip Jaquez of Hobbs, N.M., and Edwin Jaquez of Midland; daughters, Anna Grace Jaquez of Austin, Sylvia Garcia of Pecos, Margie Pena and Martha Chavez, and Geneva Ramirez, all of Odessa, and Mary Valencia of Midland; brothers, Greg Jaquez and Lazaro Jaquez, both of Pecos; sisters, Inez Hinojoz of Odessa, Lala Roman and Elvira Valdez, both of Pecos, and Josefina Elliott and Nati Flores, both of California; 32 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Wilma J. Wallace Lee
Dallas - Wilma J. Wallace Lee, 81, of Dallas, died Jan. 29, 2005, at Charleston Methodist Hospital in DeSota.
Services will be at noon Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Entombment will be at the Laurel Land Funeral Home mausoleum.
She was born in Caldwell.
Survivors Sisters, Frankie M. Watson of Peachtree City, Ga., and Mildred B. Lewis of Odessa.

Brownfield - Santos Moroles, 82, a retired mechanic, died Jan. 30, 2005, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church in Brownfield Hector Madrigal of Amarillo officiating. Burial will be at the Brownfield cemetery. Arrangements are by Mark A Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield.
He was born in Brady. He was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS Wife, Maria; sons: Ignacio Moroles of Campeche, Mexico, and Joe Moroles and Santos Moroles Jr., both of Odessa; daughters, Isabel Mermella of San Angelo, Emilia Franco of Brownfield, Gracie Romo of Abilene, and Sofia Coronado of Georgetown; sisters, Petra Perez of Raymondville, and Joveta Lopez of Monterey, Mexico; 24 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Syble Higgins Robinson
Bellville - Syble Higgins Robinson, 73, of Bellville, a retired teacher, died Dec. 31, 2004, in Bellville.
Services were held at Jan. 8 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Sellars officiating. Arrangements were by Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville.
She was born in Stamford. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bellville.
Survivors Husband, Bill Robinson of Bellville; daughters, Rebecca Wright of Austin and Lisa Necker of Marble Falls; and one grandchild.

Donald Charles Avery
Stanton - Donald Charles Avery, 69, of Stanton, a chef at various nursing homes and volunteer, died on Saturday, December 18, 2004, in a local nursing home.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Downtown Church of Christ in Stanton with minister Van Pendergrass officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen cemetery in Stanton. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton.
He was born on October 28, 1935, in Stanton, Texas.
He was a lifelong resident of Martin County. He was a member of Downtown Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Sisters, Yvonne Hrbacek of Odessa, and Loneta Crocker of Ft. Worth; brother, Edward Avery of Midland.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Cebern Madison Coker
ODESSA - Cebern Madison Coker, 74, of Odessa, a retired pipeline worker, died Dec. 18, 2004 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Griffin Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Crane cemetery in Crane. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Chandler, Okla. He grew up in Crane and graduated from Crane High School. He worked for Texas-New Mexico Pipeline in Lovington, N.M., and later transferred to Quito, Ecuador, South America. He moved to Odessa in 1985.
SURVIVORS: Son, C.P. Coker of Bombay, India; daughter, Dee Pritschow of Odessa; one brother, Eddie Coker of Denver City; and three grandchildren.

Johnny ‘Chon’ Holguin
ODESSA - Johnny “Chon” Holguin, 47, of Odessa, a Shop Tech-1 in the oilfield industry, died Dec. 17, 2004 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Templo Buenas Nuevas Church with the Rev. Rosario Hill officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton. He was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Wanda H. Holguin of Odessa; sons, Andrew Subia of Phoenix, John Anthony Holguin and Joshua C. Holguin, both of Odessa; daughters, Kacy K. Perez of Odessa, Kimberly K. Devilla of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Priscilla Perez of Odessa; mother, Guadalupe T. Holguin of Odessa; brothers, Richie “Ricky” Holguin and Ezequiel “Tito” Holguin, both of Odessa; sisters, Diana Holguin and Betty Olivarez of Odessa; and three grandchildren.

Mary Gladys Rogers
LAKE BROWNWOOD - Mary Gladys Rogers, 78, of Lake Brownwood and formerly of Odessa, a retired bank teller, died Dec. 18, 2004 at her home.
Her body will be cremated under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early.
She was born in Ballinger. She was a member of the Lake Brownwood United Methodist Church and a resident of Lake Brownwood for 20 years.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Howard Rogers of Lake Brownwood; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Don R. Williams
ODESSA - Don R. Williams, a longtime Odessa business owner, died Thursday, December 16, 2004, at his home.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at First
Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Nora Fitch officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born June 30, 1913 in Rockville, Indiana. He moved to Odessa in 1948. He founded Western Tank Company and later Shamrock Steel Sales.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Denny of Odessa and Michael Williams of Golden, Colo.; brother, Harold Williams of Cheyenne, Wyo.; sister, Lorene Morris of San Diego, Calif.; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Elmer D. Willis
ODESSA - Elmer D. Willis, 73, of Odessa, a former Odessa police officer and a retired maintenance supervisor for Champion Technologies, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Reed Gipson, the Rev. John Van Hoose and the Rev. Larry Elder officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Lewisville, Ark. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Gracie Willis of Odessa; daughter, Sharon Moseley; sons, William Willis of Missouri City, Texas, and Perry Willis of Odessa; brothers, Bob Willis of Houston, Curtis Willis of Milledgeville, Ill., Bert Willis of Avinger, Kenneth Willis of Lewisville, Ark.; sisters, Odessa Lummus of Odessa, Caron Blann of Hampton, Ark., Shirley Christie of Tulsa, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Everett A. Liebscher 82, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2004. at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Maria Vasquez Aranda
KERMIT - Maria Vasquez Aranda, 85, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Eastside Church of Christ with Monty Huffman officiating. Burial will be in the Kermit cemetery. Arrangements are by Cooper Funeral Home.
She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS Sons, Raul Aranda, Rojelio Aranda and Ruben Aranda, all of Kermit, and Rey Aranda of Andrews; daughters, Romelia Higgins of Killeen and Rosie Hernandez of Kermit; brother, Anastacio Vasquez of Kermit; sister, Patricia Gomez and Eufracia Vasquez, both of El Paso; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

HOUSTON - Judy Hobdy, 54, of Spring, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, in the Woodlands.
