Lovington, N.M. - Harvey Thurman Flynn, 88, of Odessa, former owner of Flynn Oilfield Service of Loco Hills, N.M., died at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at Lovington cemetery with the Revs. Allen Harris and Kevin Bartley officiating.
He was born in Pauls Valley, Okla. He was a member of Assembly of God Church in Lovington, N.M., and Artesia, N.M.
Survivors Daughters, Joan Hobbs and Dian McCabe, both of Odessa; brother, Bobby Gene Flynn of Friendly, W. Va.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Melba Slaton Bassett
Odessa - Melba Slaton Bassett, 86, of Odessa, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at her residence.
Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Lloyd George Bannister
Kermit - Lloyd George Bannister, 81, of Kermit, a retired pipeline construction worker, died Monday, March 14, 2005, in Kermit.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Family Services Funeral Parlor with the Rev. Gordon Oglesby officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
He was born in Roger Mills County, Okla.
Survivors Wife, Frankie Bannister of Kermit; sons, Jimmie Bannister and Jon Bannister, both of Kermit, and Ronnie Bannister of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Virginia Ramirez Galindo
Odessa - Virginia Ramirez Galindo, 78, of Odessa, a cook and waitress, died Monday, March 14, 2005, at Avalon Nursing Center.
Services were Wednesday, March 15, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Chavez officiating. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Redford.
Survivors Sons, Joe Augilar, Sam Galindo and Nat Ramirez, all of Odessa; daughters, Mary Mata and Erminia Cano, both of Odessa; sisters, Maria Gonzales of Odessa and Ines Ramirez of Littlefield; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Berley Mac Sapp
Odessa - Berley Mac Sapp, 78, died Monday, March 14, 2005, at Deerings Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was an Army veteran.
Survivors One niece, Diane Sapp of Odessa; and two nephews.

Odessa - Waymon L. Watts, 54, of Odessa, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Frank Wilson Funeral Directors.

Melba Slaton Bassett
ODESSA - Melba Slaton Bassett, 86, of Odessa, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at her residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Nora Fitch officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Colorado. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church
Survivors Sons, Don A. Bassett and Billy G. Bassett, both of Odessa; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

OraNell Butler
ODESSA - OraNell Butler, 80, of Goldsmith, a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Services were held Friday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Mitchell County and moved to Goldsmith in 1957 from Midland. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Goldsmith. She worked at the Steak House of Goldsmith in the ’60s and early ’70s. Later, she worked at Gibson and Strike It Rich of Odessa, until she retired in 1988.
SURVIVORS Sons, Leonard Butler of Dripping Springs, Harold Butler of Beeville, Weldon Butler of Andrews, Texas, Eddie Butler of Bastrop, La., Bobby Butler of Odessa, Jerry Butler of Goldsmith; daughters, Sharon Cooke of Lubbock, Carol Kennedy of Canyon; sisters, Ophie Davis of Dumas and Irene Senter of Odessa; brother, Leo Badgett of Lubbock; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren;

Corbin Ezekiel Hernandez
ANDREWS - Corbin Ezekiel Hernandez, infant son of George and Amy Hernandez of Andrews, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Services were held Friday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bernard Gully. Burial was at the Andrews North Babyland cemetery.
SURVIVORS Parents; sisters, Jeanie Juanita Hernandez and Nayda Lillianna Hernandez, both of Andrews; grandparents, Maria Hernandez of Andrews, Francisco and Patricia Briones of Lubbock; and great-grandparents: Ofelia Arellano of Mexico, Amador Sepeda of Lubbock and Crispin Briones of Lubbock.

Stacy Stamps Whalen
ODESSA - Stacy Stamps Whalen, 32, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Wright officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Andrews and was Pentecostal.

ANDREWS - The Rev. Mitchell H. Culp, 80, of Andrews, a minister and painter, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Hospice Midland Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Andrews Church of God with the Revs. Timothy G. Chenault, Jason Connor and Ken Redmond officiating. Military graveside services will follow at the Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
He was born Clifton. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He had pastored the Andrews Church of God for 23 years.
SURVIVORS Wife, Chloe Culp of Andrews; sons, Charles Culp of Lewisville and Don Culp of East Wenatchee, Wash.; daughters, Bonnie Edenfield of Bend, Ore., and Sherrie Taylor of Lewisville; sister, Opal Webster of Mineral Wells; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

ALPINE - Krystal Leigh DelBart, 10, of Alpine, died Friday, March 11, 2005, at Big Bend Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Alpine. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church.

She was born in Royce City. She was formerly of Odessa. She was a longtime resident of Big Spring. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

MONAHANS - Kathryn Ann Schoolcraft, 40, of Wickett, a groomer, died Friday, March 11, 2005, in Lubbock.

the Monahans Memorial cemetery with the Rev. Stan Hufty officiating. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services.

ODESSA - Ruben Valenzuela, 70, of Odessa, a barber, died Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Home Hospice House.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Interment will follow at RoseHill cemetery.
He was born in Alpine. He was Catholic.

She was born in Omaha, Neb. She was Christian.
