San Angelo - James Monroe “Jim” Glaspie, 74, of San Angelo, died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at his residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Southland Baptist Church in San Angelo. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Evergreen cemetery in Stanton. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.
He was born in Cooper. He was a Korean War veteran.
Survivors Wife, Sande Glaspie of San Angelo; sons, Mike Glaspie and Mark Glaspie, both of San Angelo; daughter, Missy Bumstead; stepdaughters, Tiffany May of Dallas, and Samantha Johnson; and eight grandchildren.

Bertha L. McLain
Odessa - Bertha L. McLain, 89, of Winchester, Ky., a cashier with Kroger for 17 years, died Friday, June 10, 2005, in Winchester, Ky.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Owen Sharp officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Bertha was born in Montgomery, W.Va.
Survivors Husband, Houston McLain of Winchester, Va.; brother, Thomas Wendell of Fayetteville, W.Va.; and sisters, Beulah White of Lexington, S.C., Mona Vassal of Chesapeake, W.Va., and Catherine Everett and Melba Jean Everett, both of Odessa.

Joe Flores Ortega Jr.
Pecos - Joe Flores Ortega Jr., 52, of Midland, a welder, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Midland.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Dominguez officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Pecos. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors Wife, Rosa Alvarado Ortega of Midland; sons, Eric Ortega and Jesse Ortega, both of Midland; daughter, Priscilla Ortega of Midland; father, Jose Nunez Ortega of Pecos; sisters, Gloria Matta of Runaway Bay, and Yolanda Nelson of San Diego, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Lorenzo F. Pantoja
Marfa - Lorenzo F. Pantoja, 76, of Valentine, a cotton gin employee, died Saturday, June 11, 2005, in an El Paso area hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Valentine. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Valentine. He was Catholic.
Survivors Son, Ernesto T. Pantoja of Van Horn; daughter, Maria Alicia Villanueva of Van Horn; brother, Luis F. Pantoja of Roswell; sister, Armida Gomez of Marfa; and three grandsons.

Ruby Onis Adair
Lubbock - Ruby Onis Adair, 101, of Crane, a music store owner, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at Crane Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Nettleton, Miss. She was Methodist.
Survivors Son, Brodie Adair of Eden; sisters, Doc Young of Odessa, and Judy Parrish of Corsicana; and two grandchildren.

Robert Wade Caffrey
ODESSA - Robert Wade Caffrey, 39, of Odessa, a maintenance technician for a nursing facility, died Saturday, June 4, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was an Episcopalian-Christian.
Memorial Services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. John’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Laura Deaderick officiating. Private Inurnment will be held at a later date in Moorefield, W.Va. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
Survivors Parents, George and Roberta S. Caffrey of Odessa; brother, George Martin Caffrey Jr. of California; and sister, Deborah Romano of W.Va.

Anna M. Celaya
FORT STOCKTON - Anna M. Celaya, 36, of Fort Stockton, an administrative salesperson, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 9 a.m. today at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean Duckett officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at East Hill cemetery.
She was born in Fort Stockton. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Sunset - Albert Glendon Lee, 55, of Alvord, a self-employed heavy equipment operator, died Thursday, June 9, 2005, in Bowie.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Charles Reed officiating. Burial will be at Alvord cemetery in Alvord. Arrangements are by Fry Funeral Home of Bowie.
He was born in Decatur.

Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairmont cemetery in San Angelo.
She was born in San Angelo. She was Catholic.
Survivors Nephews, Mike Dooley and James Germany, both of Dallas, and Edward Germany of Torrance, Calif.; and nieces, Betty Monroe, Margaret Windham, Barbara Pollard and Linda Mealer, all of Odessa, and Mary Frances Maahs of Manassas, Va.

Odessa - Guadalupe Sotelo Benavides, 79, of Odessa, a housekeeper, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be at RoseHill cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Colorado City.

Dr. John P. Hansen
Dallas Dr. - John P. Hansen, 77, of Swatara, Minn., and Dallas, a former employee of the U.S. Bureau of Mines in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Minneapolis and was professor emeritus of metallurigical engineering at the University of Alabama, died May 15, 2005, at his residence in Dallas.
Funeral services were held May 19 at United Methodist Church in Hill City with the Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial was in Macville cemetery in Swatara, Minn.
He was born in Bain, Minn. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church of Dallas.
Survivors Wife, Doris Hansen of Dallas; sons, Steven Hansen of Parkersburg, W.V., Bradley Hansen of Houston and Kurt Hansen of Dallas; brothers, Carlton Hansen of Seattle, Lewis Hansen of Burnsville, Minn., Charles Hansen of Chisholm, Minn., and Malcolm “Mick” Hansen of Buffalo, Minn.; sisters, Margaret Anderegg of Odessa and Lois Carlson of Grand Rapids, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born in Elk City, Okla. He was an oilfield worker and the owner of Ward’s Upholstery.
SURVIVORS Daughter, Hollyce D’Layne Johnson, of Ruidoso, N.M.; son, Ricky Dale Ward, of Clinton, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
