Odessa - Victorino Bermudez, 60, of Odessa, a retired oilfield welder, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at Hospice House.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will be at RoseHill cemetery.
He was born in Sierra Mojada, Coahuila, Mexico, and was Christian-Catholic.
Survivors Wife, Viola G. Bermudez of Odessa; daughters, Noemi B. Martinez of Dallas, and Maria De Soccorro Tijerina, Marina Alvarez and Rosalba B. Chavez, all of Odessa; brothers, Feliciano Bermudez of Miguel, Hidalgo, Mexico, Dionicio Bermudez of Brownsville and Pedro Bermudez of Cd. Victoria, Coah., Mexico; sisters, Juana Hernandez of Odessa and Alicia Gomez Bermudez of Pecos; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Kermit - Juanita Compton, 74, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kermit cemetery with the Rev. Henry O. Freund officiating. Arrangements are by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Haskell and was Pentecostal.
Survivors Sons, Darryl Cameron of Portales, N.M., Randy Compton of Midland and Charlie Lee Compton Jr. of Kermit; daughters, Sharon Chesney of Midland, Debbie Hilburn, Jackie O’Neal, Jan Carter Kent and Valerie Siau, all of Portales, N.M., Patsy Jolly of Bernhardts Bay, N.Y., and Teresa Compton of Kermit; brother, Alvin Ray Speck of Knox City; sisters, Juanell Losso of San Angelo and Wanda Holbrook of El Monte, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Eleno Serano Nunez
Pecos - Eleno Serano Nunez, 95, of Pecos, a retired business owner, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, at Pecos Nursing Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pecos Funeral Home with Fernando DeLuna officiating. Burial will be at Toyah cemetery.
She was born in Toyah and was Baptist.
Survivors Wife, Esparanza Nunez of Pecos; son, E. Allen Nunez Jr. of California; daughters, Ema Morales and Elva Arregue, both of Pecos, and Nancy Shultz of California; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Julian ‘Pancho’ Sanchez
Toyah - Julian “Pancho” Sanchez, of Toyah, a ranch hand, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, at his residence.
Graveside Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Toyah cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home of Pecos.
He was born in Toyah and was Baptist.
Survivors Sons, Fred Sanchez of Toyah and Herman Sanchez of Kenta, Okla.; mother, Consuelo Burchard of Toyah; and sisters, Monnie Smith of Dallas, Connie Fielder of Merkel, Maria L. Miranda of Wink and Berta Begay of Toyah.

Giselle Nieto Valenzuela
Midland - Giselle Nieto Valenzuela, infant daughter of Joel Valenzuela and Elva Nieto of Midland, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, in Midland.
Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be at Serenity Memorial Gardens cemetery. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home.

She was born in Ballinger and was a member of First Christian Church.

Earl Phelix Lefevre
Odessa - Earl Phelix Lefevre, 91, of Odessa, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at the Frank Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset cemetery.
He was born in Cleburne. He was a Methodist.
Survivors Son, Jerry D. Lefevre of Odessa; daughters, Linda Spragins of Dallas and Shirley Morris of McKinney; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
