ODESSA -- Oscar Corral, 60, of Odessa, died Thursday, May 14, 1998, at his residence.

Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

Odis Watkins

ODESSA -- Odis Watkins, 82, of Odessa, died Thursday, May 14, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Wilma Caswell

SAN MARCOS -- Wilma F. Caswell, 90, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Pennington Funeral Home with the Rev. Bernie Sandberg officiating. Local arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Forney.

Survivors: Son, Royal E. Caswell Jr. of Odessa; two grandson and one great-grandchildren.

Scott Coleman

ODESSA -- Scott Coleman, 19, of Spring, a student at Tomball College, died Tuesday, May 12, 1998.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Scott Seymour officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Survivors: Parents, Joe and Debbie Coleman of Spring; brother, Barry Coleman of Spring; and grandparents, Morris and Reba Bates of Odessa.

Martin Ingram

ODESSA -- Martin H. Ingram, 76, of Odessa, a retired employee of Gulf Oil Company, died Monday, May 11, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Temple Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Thorpe and Jack Watkins officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at Crane County cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Flat, and moved to Odessa in 1985 from Crane. He was Baptist.

Survivors: Wife, Mary Ingram of Odessa; son, David M. Ingram of Pasadena, Texas; daughters, Karen L. Steeb of Duluth, Ga., Marta D. Smith, Lana Dortch and Dana WIlliams, all of Odessa; brother, Bill D. Ingram of Harper's Ferry, W.V.; sister, Lois Johnston of Big Spring; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

George Keen

ODESSA -- George Vernon Keen, 83, died Tuesday, May 12, 1998, in Longview.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Odessa Gospel Lighthouse Church with the Rev. Eddy Humpheries officiating. Arrangements by Welch Funeral Home in Longview.

Survivors: Daughter, Merijo Pittman of Longview; sons, Charles Vernon Keen of Cedar Park, Phillip Wayne Keen of Odessa; sister, Beaulah McKee of Seminole; and seven grandchildren.

Fred Ott

MONAHANS -- Fred Murray Ott Sr., 72, of Monahans, a truck superintendent, died Tuesday, May 12, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Tamarisk cemetery in Grandfalls. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

He was born in Grandfalls, and was a lifetime resident of the area. He was a Navy veteran. He was Baptist.

Survivors: Son, Fred Ott Jr. of Monahans; daughters, Jo Pat Ott and Tranisha Dowmond, both of Monahans; brothers, Robert Ott of Hobbs, N.M., Bud Ott of Midland; sisters, Christine Tucker and Iva Floy Weston, both of Marble Falls; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Abundio Pineda

KERMIT -- Abundio Pineda, 47, of Kermit, a floor hand for Dan-Mar Well Service, died Monday, May 11, 1998, at his residence.

Rosary was said at May 13 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.

He was born in Mulato, Mexico, and was a lifetime resident of Kermit. He was Catholic.

Survivors: Wife, Elida Pineda of Andrews; father, Demetrio Pineda Sr. of Kermit; sons, Javier Pineda and Abundio Pineda Jr., both of Andrews; daughters, Alma Marie Renteria of Andrews, Alma Pineda of Eunice, N.M.; brothers, Pedro Pineda, Rosalio Pineda, Trinidad Pineda, Rafael Pineda, Jose Pineda, Demetrio Pineda Jr. and Faustino Pineda, all of Kermit; sisters, Juana Rodriguez of Redford, Elpidia LaParra of Midland, Maria Olvera of Marathon, Antonia Panda and Petra Sepeda of Kermit; and four grandchildren.

Santiago Villegas

SEMINOLE -- Santiago Villegas, 68, of Seminole, a farm laborer, died Tuesday, May 12, 1998, at St. Mary Hospital in Lubbock.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. John Casey officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

He was born in Oempo, Mexico, and had been a Seminole resident for 31 years after moving from Lamesa. He was Catholic.

Survivors: Wife, Maria Villegas of Seminole; son, Jaime Villegas of Lubbock; daughters, Irma Perez of Seminole, Julia Guerrero of Andrews; five brothers, all of Mexico; five sisters, all of Mexico; and three grandchildren.

Ruth Lewis

ODESSA -- Ruth Lewis, 84, of Odessa, died Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at her residence officiating.

Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

Willie Baker
CRANE -- Willie (Bill) Baker, 73, of Crane, a retired truck driver for Crane County Road and Bridge Department, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, at his residence.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Dorothea Street Church of Christ with Rick Allen officiating. Burial in Crane County cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

He was born in Colorado City and was a longtime resident of Crane. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors: Wife, Sherry Baker of Crane; sons, Billy Baker of Crane, Arthur Baker of Angleton; daughters, Linda McCutchen, Sandra Taylor, Elizabeth Williams and Lori Smith, all of Crane, Chriss Smith of Odessa; sister, Bobbye Roberts of Fredericksburg; 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

James Blanchard

ANDREWS -- James Blanchard, 26, of Andrews, an employee of the Andrews school system, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Means Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Terry officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

He was born in Odessa and was a veteran of the Army.

Survivors: Wife, Cindy Blanchard of Andrews; parents, Richard and Pansey Blanchard of Odessa; stepson, Brian Rea of Andrews; stepdaughter, Ragan Rea of Andrews; grandmother, Vernie Juanita Kincaid of Odessa; brothers, Richard Blanchard of Chandler, Ariz., Christopher Blanchard of Odessa, Tracey Blanchard of Ruidoso, N.M., Pete Blanchard and David Blanchard, both of Odessa.
