Juan Lopez

ANDREWS - Juan G. Lopez, 82, of Andrews, retired construction worker, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews with the Rev. Bernard Gully officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home, Inc.

He was born in Marathon and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Blasa Y. Lopez of Andrews; sons, Antonio Y. and Juan R. Lopez, both of Andrews; daughters, Juanita Fuentes, Paula L. Hernandez, Maria Luisa Aranda, Ester Mendoza and Rosa Linda Valenzuela, all of Andrews; brothers, Jesus G. and Epifanio G. Lopez, both of Andrews; sister, Agapita Chalambaga of Odessa; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

William McAdams

FORT STOCKTON - William B. 'Bill' McAdams, 42, of Fort Stockton, a production specialist for Chevron, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Fort Stockton.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with Mike Buckley officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

He was born in Clinton, S.C., and has been a resident of Fort Stockton since 1980. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Pam McAdams of Fort Stockton; daughter, April McAdams of Farmington, N.M., and son, Brandon McAdams of Fort Stockton.

Ollie Miller JAL, N.M. - Ollie Del Miller, 62, of Jal, N.M., a retired school teacher, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at First United Methodist Church in Jal, N.M., with the Revs. Patty Butt and Michael May officiating. Burial will be at Jal cemetery. Arrangements by Calvary Funeral Home.

She was born in Denis and was a resident of Jal, N.M., since 1967. SHe was Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Guan Miller of Jal, N.M.; mother, Pearl McDaniel of Monahans; daughter, Donna Pedigo Copeland of Denton; sons, Bart Pedigo of Pilot Point and Thane Miller of Hobbs, N.M.; brother, J.W. McDaniel of Monahans; one grandson.

Dalton Morgan

ODESSA - Dalton W. Morgan, 76, of Odessa, a retired divisional manager for Sears Roebuck Company, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, in Odessa.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at Kingston Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Purmela and was a 46-year Odessa resident. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Ellen Morgan of Odessa; son, Dalton L. Morgan of Odessa; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ralph Murray

WORLAND, WYO. - Ralph Arthur Murray, 91, of Worland, Wyo., a retired machinery worker, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, at Community Care of America in Worland.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors chapel with Rev. Paul W. Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Lakefield, Minn., and moved to Odessa in 1980. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Sister, Helen Matchett of Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Irene Peeks

ODESSA - Irene Peeks, 85, of Breckenridge, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, in an Odessa nursing home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Breckenridge cemetery with the Rev. Tom Hiser officiating. Arrangements by Morehart Mortuary.

She was born in Stephens County and was a resident of Odessa since 1975. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Woodrow Peeks of Odessa; daughter, Patricia W. Edwards of Bakersfield, Calif.; brother, Ocie B. Glenn of Crane; sisters, Roxie Halford and Lillian Henley both of Rankin; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Christopher Pierce

BIG SPRING - Christopher Glenn Pierce, 26, of Big Spring, an employee at Perco, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, after a lengthy illness at Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Flynn Long officiating. Burial will be at Roy cemetery in Roy, N.M. Arrangements by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

He was been a lifelong resident of Big Spring. He was in the West Texas Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

SURVIVORS: Parents, Glenn and Barbara Pierce of Big Spring; brother, Brian Pierce of Odessa; sister, Dana Gregory of Sherman; grandmother, Obera Zachry of Roy, N.M., and grandparents, U.V. and Wilma Pierce of Hereford.

James Randall

ODESSA - James Thomas Randall, 68, of Odessa, a custodian for Ector County Independent School District, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Troy officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Cleveland, Miss.

SURVIVIORS: Wife, Julia Randall of Odessa; sons, Terry Ray Randall of Austin, Kenneth Dean Randall of Odessa, Bruce Randall of Odessa and David Keith Randall of Austin; daughters, Rita Randall of Dallas, Wilma Cherry and Vickie Decker, both of Odessa; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

John Sellers

ODESSA - John Richmond Sellers, 74, of Odessa, a self-employed tile contractor, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at Seabury Nursing Center.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Restlawn cemetery in Hattiesburg, Miss. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Forrest County, Miss., and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

SURVIVORS: Sister, Dorothy Palmer of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Clara Bouton of Orlando, Fla.; and brother, W.A. Sellers of Hattiesburg, Miss.

ODESSA - Yuba M. Blackwell, 84, of Odessa, co-owner of Blackwell Mobile Home Supply, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors chapel with Lynn Money officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at Alameda cemetery in Ranger. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Cheaney and has been a resident of Odessa since 1951. She was a member of Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Husband, D.W. (Slim) Blackwell of Odessa; daughter, Cindni Matheny of Tulsa, Okla.; sons, David Blackwell of Midland and Bill Blackwell of Springdale, Ark.; sisters, Ruth Minter of Odessa and Evelyn Montgomery of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
