Pauline Bell Roach
Odessa - Pauline Bell Roach, 83, passed away Sunday April 30, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Lynn Money officiating.
She was born in Pumpville, Texas on February 25, 1923. She worked as a payroll clerk in the oil field industry. She married J.E. Roach who preceded her in death on July 30, 1997.
She is survived by her son Mike Roach of Odessa, sister Ruby Jean White and husband Sonny of Readville, VA, sister in law Marilyn Bell of San Angelo; grandchildren Heather Ann Roach and Michael Delrio Roach; nieces and nephews Kelly Elrod, Sam Bell III, Kim Cade and Kay Bell all of San Angelo.
Services entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

William Wayne (Bill) McKinney
Odessa - William Wayne “Bill” McKinney, 73, of Odessa, passed away Thursday April 27, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital.
Bill was a retired barber and bar owner of Marie’s Drive Inn. He loved fishing and playing pool with friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Marie McKinney.
He is survived by his domestic partner Dean Farris, son Terry Wayne McKinney, grandson Terry Wayne McKinney Jr., grand-daughter Barbara Barnes, one sister, four brothers and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday May 3, 2006 at Martinez-Smith Funeral Chapel.

Imogene Morgan Turner
Stanton - Imogene Morgan Turner, 86, of Houston, formerly of Stanton, died on Saturday, April 29, 2006, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s in the home of one of her daughters in Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Downtown Church of Christ with Deral McWhorter, minister of Cedar Ridge Church of Christ in Gatesville, officiating. Assisting will be Ellmore Johnson, retired Church of Christ minister of Lubbock, and Van Pendergrass, minister of Downtown Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Evergreen cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Imogene was born on April 20, 1920, in Stanton, Texas, and married Alton Turner also of Stanton, on December 29, 1934 in Midland, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2001.
Imogene was a long-time resident of Stanton and a member of the Downtown Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Wesley Williams of Houston, Debbie and Mark Locke of San Antonio; five grandchildren, Shannah Frambes and husband, Brian, of Wellesley, Massachussetts, Michelle Friede and husband, Cliff, of Katy, and Eric Williams, Mark Alan Locke and Jeffrey Locke all of San Antonio; six great-grandchildren, Elissa Friede, Cole Frambes, Libby Frambes, Alison Frambes, Audrey Friede, and Maeve Frambes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Alton Randall Turner; her parents, John William Morgan and Cordelia Buna Vesta Grissom; brothers and sisters, Verda Guerrin, Ione Grizzell, Noble Morgan, Alvin Morgan, Tillman Morgan, Johnnie Morgan, Mabel Needham, Laverne Cheatham, and Joy Morgan.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Rodney Morgan, Robert Morgan, Larry Duke, Paul Castilone, grandson, Eric Williams and grandson-in-law, Cliff Friede.
The family suggests memorials be made to Downtown Church of Christ P.O. Box 1067, Stanton, Texas 79782 or Evergreen cemetery, P.O. Box 1087, Stanton, Texas 79782.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home.

Michael Shane Kirk
Odessa - Michael Shane Kirk, 29, of Odessa, an oilfield worker, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, in Midland.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Odessa and was Baptist.
Survivors Daughters, Summer Dawn Kirk and Hailey Gloria Kirk, both of Odessa; parents, Kenneth Kirk and Suzanne Kennedy Lavender, both of Odessa; grandparents, Houston and Ida Kennedy, and Robert and Myrna O’Boyle, all of Odessa; brother, Jacob Kirk of Odessa; sister, Kimberley Lavender, Jessica Zachary, Brooke Zachary and Summer Hiett, all of Odessa.

Guy Patrick Klecker
Odessa - Guy Patrick Klecker, 60, of Odessa, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at his residence.
Mass was celebrated
May 23 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Burial was held at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements were by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Plum City, Wis. He was Catholic.
Survivors Brother, Brion Klecker of Haymarket, Va.; sisters, Jeanene Mary Klecker of Minneapolis, Minn. And Elegra K. Mitchell of Henderson, Nev.

Joan Hutcheson Rollins
Monahans - Joan Hutcheson Rollins, 69, of Wickett, a file clerk for West Texas State School, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Monahans Memorial cemetery Pavilion. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez-Smith and Miller Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Monahans.
She was born in Perryton.
Survivors Son, Charles Taylor of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Barbara Secrest of Odessa; sister, Judy Benton
of Midland; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

James Richard ‘J.R.’ Wilson
Odessa - James Richard “J.R.” Wilson, 77, of Odessa, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery.
He was born in Paint Rock.
Survivors Wife, Roxie Wilson of Odessa; sons, Jimmy R. Wilson of Dallas, Stanley Wilson of Austin and Matthew Landers of Odessa; brother, John Windham of Gardendale; sisters, Barbara Burgin of Charlotte, N.C. and Julia Windham of Cloveland, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Clara McDaniel Boyce
Lexington, Ky. - Clara McDaniel Boyce, 91, of Lexington, Ky., died May 19, 2006, at Lexington Country Place.
Services were May 23 at W.R. Milward Mortuary-Southland with the Rev. Fred McDaniel officiating. Burial was at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County, Ky. Arrangements were by Milward Funeral Directors-Southland, Lexington, Ky.
She was born in McCreary County, Ky. She was Christian.
Survivors Brothers, Clyde L. McDaniel and Paul F. McDaniel; and sister, Bettie McDaniel Gibson.

Phylena Renna Jane Carlton
Alpine - Phylena Renna Jane Carlton, 74, of Alpine, a former telephone operator, died Saturday, May 20, 2006, in Alpine.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Geeslin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Carnagey officiating. Burial will be at Elm Grove cemetery. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Alpine.

Teresa Vasquez Matta
Pecos - Teresa Vasquez Matta, 90, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Monday, May 22, 2006, in Pecos.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery.
She was born in Marfa and was Catholic.
Survivors Sons, Evaristo Matta of Dallas, Fred Matta of Phoenix, Ariz., Domingo Matta of San Diego, Calif., George Matta of Midland and Jose Luis Vasquez of Odessa; daughters, Celia Castillo of Pecos, Teresa Natividad of Rotan, Delia Alvarez and Delma Navarrette, both of Dallas; sisters, Adela Cook of Odessa and Maria de Jesús Cordero of Midland; 47 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Big Spring - Kennith Osburn, 70, of Big Spring, a retired sheet metal foreman, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at his residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Myers and Smith Chapel. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
He was born in Menard and was Baptist.
Survivors Wife, Fran Osburn of Big Spring; sons, Billy Osburn of Big Spring, Bobby Osburn of Big Spring and Kennith Ray Osburn of Silsbee; daughters, Sherida Tredaway and Saletta Tilley, both of Big Spring and Cheryl Rice of Garland; one brother; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Monahans - Edward Thomas “Buck” Prather, 86, of Monahans, a building contractor, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at Big Spring Veterans Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Harkey Family Funeral Services of Monahans.
He was born in Muskogee, Okla. He was Baptist.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. John’s Catholic Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at the Monahans Memorial cemetery with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Arrangements are by Harkey Family Funeral Services of Monahans.
He was born in Monahans and was Catholic.

He was born in Kaw City, Okla. He was a Coast Guard veteran.
