FREMONT, Neb. -- Richard P. "Rick" Sandberg, 50, of Cedar Bluffs, Neb., a manufacturing manager, died Monday, June 29, 1998, at Fremont Area Medical Center in Fremont, Neb.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Michael Ostrom officiating. Burial will be at Sunrise cemetery in Wahoo, Neb. Arrangements by Moser Memorial Chapel.

He was born in Fremont. He was a Lutheran.

SURVIVORS: Father and step-mother, Paul and Pauline Sandberg of Fremont; brother, Jan D. Sandberg of Fremont; sister, Sandra "Sandy" of Salinas, Calif.

ODESSA -- Etoil Childers, 81, of Odessa died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at Deerings Nursing Home.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Liane Miller

ODESSA -- Liane Miller, 71, of Odessa died Friday, July 3, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Wanda Davis

KERMIT -- Wanda Fay Loflin Davis, 58, of Kermit, a hospital housekeeper, died Monday, April 19, 1999, at her residence.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Bugg officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Abilene Municipal cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.

She was born in Munday and had lived in Kermit for 47 years. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Tommy Davis of Andrews and Michael Davis of Waco; daughters, Deborah Davis and Kimberly Winkler, both of Kermit; brothers, Richard Loflin of Abilene and Melvin Loflin of Kermit; sisters, Shirley Wade of Segoville and Betty Loflin of Odessa; and two grandchildren.

Francisco Garcia Jr.

ODESSA -- Francisco Garcia Jr., 71, of Houston, a landscaper, died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at his residence.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Mexico City and moved to Houston 12 years ago. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Sofia G. Gomez of Odessa; and four grandchildren.

Victoriano Garcia

FORT STOCKTON -- Victoriano Garcia, 91, of Fort Stockton, a retired mine framer, died Monday, April 19, 1999, at his residence.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at St. Joseph’s cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.

He was born in Terlingua and moved to Fort Stockton from Alpine. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Nieces, Felipa Campos and Ramona Cedillos, both of Fort Stockton, Felicita Vega of Alpine, Adeliya Cortez, Cruz Ramirez and Angela Gonzalez, all of Odessa, Jesusita Lopez of California, Chona Calsada of Del Rio and Concha Lira of Sabina, Mexico; nephews, Domingo Arenas of Fort Stockton, Juan Baiza, Doroteo Gonzalez, Tino Guitan, Frank Cedillos, Juan Cedillos, Lucas Cedillos and Nichie Cedillos, all of Odessa.

Margarita Gonzales

ODESSA -- Margarita G. Gonzales, 77, of Odessa died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at her residence.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at First United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. J.T. Pugh and Nicolas Muniz officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

She was born in Terlingua. She was Pentecostal.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Jose Ramon G. Gonzalez of Las Cruces, N.M., Mario G. Gonzalez of Del Rio, Wally G. Gonzalez of Odessa, Antonio (Tony) of Somerville, Agapito Pete G. Gonzalez of Lubbock; daughters, Juanita G. Rosas of Kermit and Manuela Herrera of Odessa; sisters, Maria Galindo of Marathon and Rita Tavarez of Fort Stockton; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

EUNICE, N.M. -- Christopher E. Olivas, 25, of Hobbs, N.M., a student, died Saturday, April 17, 1999, in Hobbs, N.M.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Helena Catholic Church with the Rev. Jose Reyes officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Calvary Funeral Home.

He was born in Lovington, N.M.

He was born in North Colbert, Ala. He was Baptist.

SEMINOLE -- Ruby Lee Durham, 89, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Monday, April 19, 1999, at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westside Church of Christ with Don Fleming and Glen Fleming officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery South.

She was born in Howard County and moved to Seminole in 1956 from Brownfield.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Robert Lee Durham of Seagraves, Royce Howard Durham of Midland, Donald Louis Durham of Stephenville, Alton Andrew Durham of Kermit, Roland Dean Durham and Myrdise Gene Durham, both of Seminole, Von Lee Durham of Denver City and Wayland Ray Durham of Andrews; daughters, Mary Joycelene Davis of Andrews and Sybil Sue Watson of Seminole; 80 grandchildren; 100 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.

JAL, N.M. -- Dorothy R. Kerby, 78, of Jal, N.M., a retired employee of El Paso Natural Gas Company, died Saturday, April 17, 1999, in Big Spring.

Services were held Sunday at Jal Church of Christ with Hilton Langston and Blackie Ellison officiating. Burial was in Jal cemetery.

She was born in Denison and moved to Jal in 1949 from Hobbs.
