Philippians 3:13-14…But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Margie persevered and pressed onward toward the prize and on February 27, 2006 Christ Jesus called her home for her eternal reward.
Margie was a loving, devoted wife and mother who instilled the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ in her family. One of her greatest joys in life was working with Awana’s Red Group at church. She loved each and every girl in her group and always looked forward to Wednesday night. She took great joy in watching the girls learn and grow in Christ. She treasured her family and friends and always took the time to say, “I love you”. She was an artist and loved drawing, painting, and scrapbooking. She loved to make “pocket crosses” that she would give to family, friends, and even strangers that she felt needed a little lift.
There will be emptiness in our hearts and lives, but we do not grieve as those who have no hope because our hope is in Christ Jesus and we know that Tainte only went home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Doxa Kids, Street Children’s Ministry: P.O. Box 13286 Odessa, Texas 79768.
