ODESSA -- Jerry Glenn Davis, 48, of Odessa, a biomedical technician at Sunset Memorial Hospital, died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. R.T. McNeil officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Louisiana and was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Father, Coy Davis Sr. of Dallas; stepfather, Elisha Lewis Jr. of Odessa; and sister, Carolyn Jones of Odessa.

Thelma Harris
ODESSA -- Thelma Mae Harris, 96, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home State Room with the Rev. Morgan Bush officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Ingalls cemetery, Ingalls, Okla. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Payne County, Okla. and was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Dottie McClary of Odessa; son, Glenn Harris of Las Vegas, Nev.; brothers, Vinnie Stephenson of Abilene and Burl Stephenson of Ford, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Ella Jones
ODESSA -- Ella Sulena Jones, 91, of Odessa, self-employed in the child care business, died Friday, April 9, 1999, at Westwood Hospital in Midland.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Martinez Funeral Home with the Rev. Love Hambrick Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Haynesville, La., and came to Odessa from Camden, Ark.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Ruth Yarbrough of Odessa.

Ruby Long
MOODY -- Ruby Lorene (Jackson) Long, 78, of Longview, a homemaker, died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in Longview.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cole Funeral Home Chapel in Moody. Burial will be at Old Perry cemetery. Arrangements by Cole Funeral Home.
She was born in Temple and moved to Longview from Odessa in 1997. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Linda Thrasher of Hallsville; son, Edward Michael "Mickey" Long of Odessa; sister, Laverne Lee of Temple; brother, Wilbert Jackson of Troy; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Francisco Luna
ODESSA -- Francisco Luna, 90, of Odessa, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrate at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Shafter.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Valentina Luna of Odessa; son, Gilbert Luna of Odessa; daughter, Yolanda Elizonda of Odessa; brother, Jose Luna of El Paso; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Carmen Rey
FORT STOCKTON -- Carmen G. Rey, 97, of Fort Stockton, a farmer and rancher, died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Odessa Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Terlingua and moved to Fort Stockton in 1994 from Monahans. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Carmen T. Rey Jr. of Fort Stockton and Manuel T. Rey of El Paso; daughters, Cruz Esparza of San Antonio and Christina Primera of Monahans; brothers, Angle Rey of Imperial and Celedonio Rey of Midland; sisters, Timotea Esparza of Imperial, Natividad Esparza of Fort Stockton and Geronima Flores of Imperial; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

Bonifacio Urias Jr.
MIDLAND -- Bonifacio "Fachito" Urias Jr. 18, of Midland, a Big Tex Trailers employee, died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center from injuries suffered in an auto accident.
Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today at 1612 N. County Road No. 1140. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas C. Kelley officiating. Burial will be at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home of Midland.
He was born in Andrews and was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Veronica Amesquita Urias of Midland; daughter, Alina Anahi Urias of Midland; parents, Bonifacio Urias Sr. of Midland and Anna Maria Venegas of Odessa; grandmother, Maria de Jesus Urias of Midland; brothers, Abelardo Urias, Alejandro Urias and Homero Hinostroza, all of Odessa; and sisters, Aracely Hinostroza of Odessa.

Daniel Zly
FORT STOCKTON -- Daniel William Zly, 62, of Coyanosa, a cotton farmer, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at his residence.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Ballinger and moved to Coyanosa in 1980. He served in the National Guard. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Arlene Zly of Coyanosa; sons, Mark Zly and Michael Zly, both of Coyanosa; daughter, Monica Ivey of Coyanosa; brothers, Edwin Zly of Ballinger and Clarence Zly of San Angelo; mother, Eleanora Zly of Ballinger; sister, Regina Cooksey of Stephenville; and six grandchildren.

ANDREWS -- Robert Mayfield, 61, of Andrews, a retired oil industry salesman, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at his residence.

He was born in Whitharral and moved to Andrews in 1979 from Artesia, N.M. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jessica Mayfield of Andrews; son, Wesley Don Mayfield of Plano; stepson, George Burleson of Andrews; stepdaughter, Marsha Villanueva of Levelland; brother, Roy Mayfield of Andrews; sister, Wanda Hulan of Andrews; and six grandchildren.

Salvador Roman Sr.
MARFA -- Salvador Natividad Roman Sr., 76, of Marfa, a self-employed carpenter, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, in an Alpine hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Merced cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Marfa and served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Germany.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Irene Roman of Marfa; daughters, Consuelo Nunez of Marfa, Socorro Rivera of Alamogordo, N.M, Lupita Rivera of Marfa and Sylvia Griffin of Cleveland, Tenn.; sons, Salvador Roman Jr. of Marfa, Sammy Roman of Corpus Christi, Danny Roman of Ozona, Raymond Roman of Odessa and Cosme Roman of Marfa; sister, Lydia Estrada of Marfa; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

ODESSA -- Armando Urias, 54, of Odessa, a machinist, died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Martinez Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton and came to Odessa in 1950 from Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Kathrine Shelby of Midland; sisters, Velia Carrasco of Visalia, Calif., Socorro Del Bosque, Glinda Bitolas and Nina Carrasco, all of Odessa, and Sylvia Pilar Villareal of Midland; brothers, Ruben Urias of Midland, Lanny Urias, Sammy Urias, Joe Urias and Rudy Urias, all of Odessa; and three grandchildren.

Ben Warren
ANDREWS -- Ben B. Warren, 84, of Andrews, a retired Amoco pumper, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Mike Henson officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Stephenville and was also a volunteer fireman in Andrews before retirement.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Kathleen Warren of Andrews; daughter, Judy Kinney of Andrews; brothers, Cecil Warren of Midland and Donnald Warren of Hico; sister, Bessie Switzer of Williamsport, Penn.; three grandchildren; four step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and two step great-great-grandchildren.

She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and had lived in Odessa since 1975. She was Catholic.
