SEMINOLE -- Raymond Neal Aten, 71, of Seminole, a retired Gaines County employee, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at South Seminole Baptist Church with the Rev. Shane Kinnison officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County Memorial cemetery North. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Lamesa and lived for 44 years in Seminole. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Gerry Aten of Seminole; son, Ronnie Aten of Seminole; daughters, Belinda Sample of Alpine, Sandra Flowers of Winnsboro, La., and Deretha Jenkins of Amarillo; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

John McCready
ANDREWS -- John Wesley "Wes" McCready, 78, of Andrews, a retired Exxon Oil Co. employee, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Andrews Nursing Center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Andrews West cemetery with the Rev. H.A. Hanks officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Tuskugee, Okla. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Sybble McCready of Andrews; sons, Bobby McCready of Seattle and Wesley McCready Jr. of Owasso, Okla.; sisters, Hazel Bishop of Bristow, Okla., and Marie Drake of Drumwright, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

Jack Murphy
ANDREWS -- Jack Wayne Murphy, 66, of Oklahoma City, a retired salesman, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, in Oklahoma City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Putnam City Christian Church in Putnam City, Okla. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Andrews West cemetery with the Rev. John McQueen officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Foard County, Texas. He was an Air Force veteran.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Judy Murphy of Oklahoma City; sons, Lyle Murphy of Sherman, Robby Murphy of Florida and Gary Murphy of Midland; daughters, Janiece Skrank of Troy, Mich., and Jana Nance of Oklahoma City; sisters, Wanda Driver of Andrews, Patsy Gough of Blackwell, and Mary Beth Moore and RaeNelle Mitchell, both of Andrews; and three grandchildren.

Sandra Prince
FORT STOCKTON -- Sandra Ann Prince, 60, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, in Tulsa, Okla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Martha B. Gooding officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Royalty and moved to Fort Stockton from Imperial in 1963.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Jack Prince of Fort Stockton; mother, Tommie Brown of Center; daughters, Georgeann Gooding of Seminole, Tommye Sue Snyder of Kermit and Vivian Ileen Prince of Fort Stockton; son, Wesley Darle Prince of Fort Stockton; brother, William Ray Brown of Rankin; sister, Carol Lee Mays of Center; and two grandchildren.

Pauline Rinehart
ODESSA -- Pauline Rinehart, 78, a retired Texas Instruments employee, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, in Odessa.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Martinez Funeral Home. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Vera.
SURVIVOR: Brother, Clifford Wayne Pooling of Seattle.

Lowell Waldon
BANGS -- Lowell Waldon, 66, of Odessa, a retired Odessa Babbitt Bearing employee, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bangs cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Miller County, Ark., and moved to Odessa in 1957 from Rodessa, La. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Juanita Waldon of Odessa; sons, Michael Waldon and Danny Waldon, both of Friendswood and Roger Waldon of Odessa; daughters, Donna Cumings and Janice Greathouse, both of Coleman; sister, Joyce Rodriguez of Odessa; and two grandchildren.

Ernest Webster
FORT DAVIS -- Ernie Webster Sr., 85, of Fort Davis, a retired cook, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, in an El Paso hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home of Marfa.
He was born in Fort Davis. He was a Navy veteran.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ernest Webster Jr. of Uhland and Larry Webster of Fort Davis; daughter, Elma Webster of California; sisters, Dora Lujan and Elisa Terrazas, both of Fort Stockton; half-sisters, Eve Langston and Lucy Rodriguez, both of El Paso; half-brothers, Frank Webster of El Paso and Raymond Webster of New Mexico; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Jacob Martinez
MARFA -- Jacob Martinez, 28, of Marfa died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, in an Alpine hospital.
Services are pending with Memorial Funeral Home.

Helen Stevic
ODESSA -- Helen M. Stevic, 72, of Odessa died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Homer Beard
ODESSA -- Homer (Jerry) Beard, 62, of Odessa, an oilfield driller, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. David Henry officiating. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Herrin, Ill., and had in Odessa since 1984. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jane Beard of Odessa; sons, Dwayne Burt of Odessa and Jody Beard of Roswell, N.M.; daughters, Vickie Froud of Houston, Georgia Deeds of Odessa and Kimberly Bakondi of Albany, Ore.; sisters, Rana Lewis and Sonya Johns, both of Carlsbad, N.M.

Ethel Daniels
TULIA -- Ethel Mae Daniels, 88, of Tulia, a retired day-care worker, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at Plainview IHS Nursing Home in Plainview.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Church of Christ in God-Jackson Chapel with the Rev. Henry Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Wallace Funeral Home.
She was born in Roxton and moved to Tulia in 1952 from Vernon. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Irene Daniels, Anna Jo Perkins and Jean Berry, all of Tulia; sons, George Daniels of Amarillo and Morris Wayne Yates of Los Angeles; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Glenda Elrod
ANDREWS -- Glenda Sue Elrod, 65, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at a residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Andrews West cemetery with the Rev. Randy Gunter officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Stanton. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, Elmer Stroud of Andrews, Donald Stroud of Midland, Wayne Stroud of Stanton and Weldon Stroud of Morton; sisters, Madge Soule of Scottsdale, Ariz., Marianna Williams of Denver City and Ruth Hollaway of Orlando, Fla.

John Fritsch
RUIDOSO, N.M. -- John Fritsch, 63, of Ruidoso, N.M, an employee of the Ruidoso School District, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, in Ruidoso, N.M.
Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn cemetery. Arrangements by LaGrone Funeral Home.
He was born in Laredo.
