EUNICE, N.M. -- Eusebio "Chevo" Hernandez, 57, a farm laborer, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Clare Catholic Church with the Rev. Jose Reyes officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 tonight at Calvary Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Brunson Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Calvary Funeral Home.
He was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico and moved to Eunice in 1995 from Ojinaga. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Juana Hernandez of Eunice; sons, Erminio Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Cornelio Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez, Jorge Hernandez and Epifanio Hernandez, all of Eunice, Ismael Hernandez and Fernando Hernandez, both of Odessa; daughter, Amabilia Rodriguez Hernandez of Odessa; mother, Magdelina Arenivas of Ojinaga; brothers, Pedro Hernandez of Presidio, Juan Hernandez and Beto Hernandez, both of Ojinaga and Julio Hernandez of Odessa; sisters, Juana Hernandez Yanez and Socorro Hernandez Pando, both of Ojinaga.

Betty E. Rogers
ODESSA -- Betty E. Rogers, 50, of Odessa died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998, at Scottsdale Memorial North Hospital in Scottsdale, Ariz.
She was born in Odessa and was a 40-year resident of Odessa. She was a member of the Morning Star Fellowship.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Rene Ragan of Midland and Chevon Taylor of Stanton; brother, Tommy Breznik of Fritz, Ariz.; sisters, Eva Mullins of Pason, Ariz., and Pat Guinn of Jacksonville; and three grandchildren.

Albert S. Thomas
CHANDLER -- Albert S. "Tommy" Thomas, 75, of Chandler, a retired manufacturers representative, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998, at a nursing home in Chandler.Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Thomas and the Rev. Jess Thomas officiating. Arrangements by Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Bomarton and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary Bob Thomas of Chandler; son, Albert Ernest Thomas of Odessa; daughter, Eva Lee Mauck of Parker, Colo.; brother, Jess Glen Thomas of Tyler; and two grandchildren.

Guadalupe Anaya
PECOS -- Guadalupe Anaya Sr., 94, of Pecos died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Barstow cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Domingo Anaya and Lupe Anaya, both of Pecos, Adan Anaya of Midland, Joe Anaya of Monahans, David Anaya of Odessa and Arnie Anaya of San Diego, Calif.; daughters, Elvida Pena of Redford, Carmen Arasa of El Paso, Alicia Winford of Pecos, Rita Padilla of Riverside, Calif., Mary Ellen Campos of Hobbs, N.M., and Eva Quintela of Baytown; brother, Jesus Anaya of Pecos; sister, Juanita Barraza of Pecos; 43 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren.

M.Y. Butler
BIG SPRING -- M. Y. Butler, 89, of Odessa, a retired locomotive engineer, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, in an Odessa hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Claude Craven officiating. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
He was born in Eastland County and was a resident of Big Spring for 55 years before moving to Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Louise Butler of Odessa; daughter, Claudine Flynn of Odessa; son, Sidney Butler of Hobbs, N.M.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Joseph Duerksen
IOWA PARK -- Joseph David Duerksen, 41, of Iowa Park, a high school choir teacher, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, in Wichita Falls.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Norvell, Steve Beckwith and Kelly Smith officiaiting. Burial will be at Highland cemetery. Arrangements by Dutton Funeral Home.
He was born in Dallas and moved to Iowa Park three months ago from Texarkana.
He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Karen A. Duerksen of Iowa Park; father, Dean F. Duerksen of Fort Stockton; mother, Carol L. Duerksen of Texarkana; daughter, Angela Duerksen of Austin; son, Robert D. Duerksen of Iowa Park; brothers, Mike Duerksen of Fort Stockton and Paul D. Duerksen of Raton, N.M.

Ina Greer
ODESSA -- Ina Lee Greer, 96, of Odessa, a retired nurse痴 aide, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ector County cemetery with the Rev. Allen Lesly officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Cisco.
She was a member of Faith Church of the Nazarene.
SURVIVORS: Son, Harold Greer of Hobbs, N.M.; daughters, Naomi Greer and Ruth Lesly, both of Odessa; brother, Travis Manning of Cisco; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Faviola Huff
ODESSA -- Faviola "Sally" Huff, 74, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998, at her residence.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord with the Revs. Preston Weatherly and James Otterness officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Camaguey, Cuba. She was Lutheran.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Sam Huff of Odessa; sons, Joe Huff of Leander, Carl Huff of Dallas and Mike Huff of Kuwait City, Kuwait; daughter, Debbie Bailey of Spring; sister, Eva Peraza of Matanzos, Cuba; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jimmy O誰eal
MIDLAND -- Jimmy O誰eal, 50, of Midland died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Waco and moved to Midland in 1992.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Christopher Derek O誰eal and Dustin Alexander O誰eal, both of Midland; daughter, Jennifer Layla Michelle O誰eal of Midland; sisters, Sue Orson and Sharron Graves, both of Midland.

Henry Ortega
BIG SPRING -- Henry M. Ortega, 65, of Big Spring, a landscaper, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Olive Memorial cemetery with the Rev. Jessie Gomez officiating. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickel & Welch Funeral Home.
He was born in Toyah and moved to Big Spring in 1938 from Toyah.
He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, Joe Ortega and Margarito Ortega, both of Big Spring; sisters, Rosa Diaz and Virginia Sosa, both of Big Spring.

Colleen Pope
ODESSA -- Colleen Pope, 74, of Odessa, a retired bank teller, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa, Okla. Local arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Drumright, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1950 from Sapulpa, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Patrick Pope of Richardson and Mike Pope of Burleson; and two grandchildren.

Ima Rosser
ODESSA -- Ima Lucille Huckabay Rosser, 73, of Flint, a retired bookstore owner, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Glenn Harlen officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral.
She was born in Springhill.
She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, T.C. Rosser of Flint; son, Jimmy Huckabay of Seabrook; daughter, Carla Flippin of Odessa; brothers, Clyde Smith and Thurman Smith, both of Fort Worth, Bud Smith of Nash and David Smith of Arkansas; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
