SEMINOLE -- Ruby Davis Hart, 96, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at the Community Chapel with the Rev. Earnest Wall officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Ennis Creek Community, Scurry County and had lived in Seminole since 1924. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jimmie Hart of Seminole; daughter, Una Abbott of Temple; sister, Mildred Noble of Snyder; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Alfred Smith
San Angelo -- Alfred "Al" E. Smith, 70, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at his San Angelo residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Chris Seidlitz officiating. Arrangements by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
He was born in Favre, Ark., and he was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, George Shirkey of Katy, Isaac Richardson of Stanford, Okla., Gary Richardson and William Richardson, both of Odessa and J.R. Richardson of Midland; daughter, Regina Taylor of Paul’s Valley, Okla.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ennard Stewart
IOWA PARK -- Ennard C. Stewart, 90, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1998, at Andrews Healthcare Center.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Highland cemetery in Iowa Park with the Rev. Howard Chapman officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Greenwood and had lived in Andrews since 1996. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Jo Stewart Coats of Andrews; sons, Jack Stewart of Angels Camp, Calif., and Don Stewart of Bridgeport; brothers, Hardy Gage of Wichita Falls and J.L. Gage of Camdenton, Mo.; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Ruben Valverde Sr.
DENVER CITY -- Ruben A. Valverde Sr., 62, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at University Medical Center.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Williams Catholic Church with the Rev. John Casey officiating. Burial will follow at Denver City Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ratliff Funeral Homes.
He was born July 19, 1936, in Casa de Piedra. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lupe Valverde of Denver City; sons, Ruben Valverde Jr. of Hobbs, N.M., Daniel Valverde and Henry Valverde, both of Lubbock, Arturo Valverde, David Valverde and Anthony Valverde, all of Denver City; daughters, Frances Valverde of LaJuanta, Colo., Josie Valverde and Diana Valverde, both of Norman, Okla., Yolanda Valverde of Hobbs, N.M., Martha Lavender of Bryan, Lisa Vasquez of Amarillo, Nora Rodriguez of Denver City and Lora Valverde of Lubbock; father, Carlos Valverde Sr. of Denver City; brothers, Noberto Valverde, Carlos Valverde and Jessie Valverde, all of Denver City; Louis Herrera of San Angelo and Barney Valverde of Corpus Christi; sisters, Otlia Thompson of Littlefield, Mary Lou Escabedo of Seminole, Pauline Rivas and Katy Lehman, both of Perrysburg, Ohio and Ramona Bradley of Corpus Christie and 24 grandchildren.

Callie Bevill
PECOS -- Callie Ross Bevill, 90, a retired school teacher, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Greer Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Pioneer cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Pecos. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Whitney R. Bevill of Fort Worth and William M. Bevill of Corpus Christi; six grandchildren.

Elton Gober
ODESSA -- Elton Clifton Gober, 83, a retired carpenter, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert Berry officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Richland Springs. He had lived in Odessa since 1948. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Elna Ruth Gober of Odessa; daughters, Barbara Wilson and Linda Rogers, both of Odessa; son, Clifton Gober of Odessa.

Sharon Davidson
ANDREWS -- Sharon Davidson, 61, a nurse, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Northcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. David Humber officiating. Burial will follow at Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Wellington and had lived in Andrews since 1976. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, J.B. Davidson of Andrews; sons, Ronnie Davidson of Kaufman and Barry Davidson of Seminole; daughters, Dianne Brady of Ira, Cindy Gill of Hermleigh, Cherryl Wall of Pagosa Springs, Colo., and Renae Davidson of Odessa; mother, Dena Rankin of Levelland; brothers, Bobby Rankin of Midland, Dale Rankin of Guthrie and Gerald Rankin of Lubbock; sisters, Janice Jackson of Levelland and Patsy Miller of Wolfforth; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

BIG SPRING -- Lester Marvin Miller, 94, a retired concrete finisher, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Don Snipes officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home.
He was born in Oklahoma Territory and moved to Texas in 1952. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Merle S. Miller of Big Spring; sons, Royce L. Miller of Big Spring and Jack D. Miller of California; daughters, June Emerson of Randolph, Mayzelle Waite of Odessa, Fern Thompson and Jonetta Hesson, both of Big Spring and Joyce Burchett of Coahoma; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

PECOS -- Teresa "Teri" Romo, 37, an employee of Anchor West, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, at Reeves County Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Monday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Greenwood cemetery.
She was born in El Paso. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Juan Manuel Romo Jr. and Carlos Alejandro Romo, both of Pecos; daughter, Eliza R. Aguilar of Pecos; father, Manuel Reyes of Pecos; mother, Irene Ramirez of Pecos; grandmother, Elisa Ortiz of Marathon; brothers, Manuel Reyes Jr., Aluaro Reyes, Rolando Reyes and Eddie Reyes, all of Pecos and Gilbert Reyes of Saragosa; stepbrother, Raul Reyes of Pecos; sisters, Yolanda Nunez, Gloria Reyes and Mercy Medrano, all of Pecos and Rosemary Gallegos of El Paso; stepsister, Delma Reyes of California; one grandchild.

Teresa L. Anquiano
Eunice, N.M. -- Teresa L. Anquiano, 74, of Eunice, N.M., a homemaker, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Covenant Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Clare Catholic Church with the Rev. Valentine Jankowski officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Calvary Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Brunson Memorial cemetery.
She was born in Terlingua and moved to Eunice, N.M., in 1948 from Carlsbad, N.M. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Jose R. Anquiano of Eunice, N.M.; sons, Jose Enrique Anquiano of Hobbs, N.M., Samuel Anquiano and Federico Anquiano, both of Eunice, N.M.; daughters, Alvina Mendoza, Maria Acosta and Emma A. Wooten, all of Eunice, N.M., Dora Ramos of Odessa, Valentina Abila of Kermit, Jane A. Avila and Celia Anquiano, both of Hobbs, N.M.; 28 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

ODESSA -- Robert Dale Jennings, 42, of Odessa, died Monday, June 21, 1999 in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Duncan, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Pam Jennings of Odessa; Sons, Shane Jennings, Chad Cottrell and Shannon Cottrell, all of Odessa; mother, Pauline Jennings of Duncan, Okla.; grandparent, Peral Duvall of Duncan, Okla.; brother, Rodney Jennings of Odessa; sisters, Jan Otwell and Rolana Womack, both of Odessa, and Quetsa Morgan of Quinlan.

ODESSA -- Jose Salvador Pineda, 65, of Odessa, an artist, died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was a Navy veteran of the Korean conflict. He was Catholic.
