ODESSA — Raymond "Sonny" Smith, 83, of Odessa, a retired driller, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at his residence.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Greenfield Acres Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Bartlett officiating. Burial will be at Odessa cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Junction. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Bonnie Smith of Odessa; sons, Norman Smith of Odessa and Sherman Head of Chickasha, Okla.; daughters, Judy Smith of Ventura, Calif., Alice Marie Head of Midland and Ann Norman of Odessa; brothers, Donald Smith and Milton McDonald, both of Roswell, N.M., Carlton Smith and Curley Smith, both of Artesia, N.M.; and Clifton McDonald of Almagordo, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

CRANE — C.J. Drones, 65, of Crane died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at the V.A. Hospital in Dallas.
Services are pending with Richard W. Box Funeral Home.

PECOS — Joseph Francis Mees, 56, of Odessa died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

ODESSA — Bernie Lee Parker, 79, of Odessa died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Ted Garrett
ANDREWS — Ted R. Garrett, 93, of Andrews, a retired pumper, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Andrews West cemetery with Les McGailliard officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Salisaw, Okla., and moved to Andrews in 1964. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Katrina Garrett of Andrews; stepson, Jimmy Aduddell of Houston; stepdaughters, Johna Brock and Betty Goldston, both of Andrews; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Blanche Johnston
ODESSA — Blanche Johnston, 88, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services were Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Bishop officiating. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Baird and was a lifetime resident of Odessa. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, William Robert McMasters of Odessa; daughters, Ella Mae Clifton of Carlsbad, N.M., Mildred Mahler, Vera Smith and Gloria Sue Taylor, all of Odessa, and Johnnie Lynn Sumrow of Mabank; 50 grandchildren; and 60 great-grandchildren.

MORRISON, Ill. — Sondra J. Justice, 66, of Sterling, Ill., died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at Sterling Pavilion Nursing Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bosma Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Buelly officiating. Burial will be at Grove Hill cemetery. Ar-rangements by Bosma Funeral Home.
She was born in Sabeth, Kan.
SURVIVORS: Sons, David Gene Justice of Bastrop, Daniel L. Justice of Dixson, Ill., and David John Justice of Morrison, Ill; daughters, Deborah Adolph of Chadwick, Ill., Darla Habben of Morrison, Ill., Marla Justice of Peoria, Ill., and Lory Oudekerk of Morrison, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

CISCO — Billy Joe Riley, 61, of Odessa died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Monroe cemetery with the Rev. Jack Oden officiating. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Ellis County.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Betty J. Riley of Odessa; sons, William J. Riley of San Angelo and Timothy D. Riley of San Marcus; daughters, Kathy Pena of Odessa and Debora Phariss of Colorado City; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Natividad Rodriguez
ALPINE — Natividad Losoya Rodriguez, 90, of Alpine died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Angels cemetery. Arrange-ments by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Alpine and was a lifelong resident. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Enrique Flores of Midland and Joe Flores of Alpine; daughters, Alicia Brito of Alpine, Corina Milan of Crystal City, Esperanza De La O of Alpine and Viola Hernandez of Fresno, Calif.; sisters, Lucia Valenzuela of Alamogordo, N.M., and Golla Losoya of Hobbs, N.M.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

R.D. Sewell
ANDREWS — R.D. Sewell, 80, of Andrews, retired owner of Andrews Hardware, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in Andrews.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Andrews West cemetery with the Andrews Masonic Lodge #1024 officiating. Arrange-ments by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Miami, Texas, and moved to Andrews in 1957 from Raton, N.M. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Hazel Sewell of Andrews; son, Terry Sewell of Albuquerque, N.M.

Jewell Smelser
ODESSA — Jewell Smelser, 95, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at her residence.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at St. Luke United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Strempke officiating. There will be a private burial. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Claude and moved to Odessa in 1928 from Baird. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Grace Laman of Dunnville, Ky., and Della Baker and Juanita Gilbert, both of Odessa; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

S.E. Younger
CLEBURNE — S.E. Younger, 99, of Cleburne, a retired insurance salesman, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in North Richland Hills.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jon M. Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
He was born in Newark. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Stephen Younger of Fort Worth; daughters, Glena Bagley of Odessa and Willie Fay Nation of Fort Worth; brother, J. Vinson Younger of Sweetwater; and four grandchildren.
