KERMIT — Monroe Mings, 86, of Kermit, a retired routeman, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at his residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Beth Harrington officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Mountain Standard Time today at Brunson Memorial cemetery in Eunice, N.M. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Peacock and had been a resident of Kermit for 14 years. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Daphne Mings of Kermit; sons, Dwayne Mings of Deming, N.M., and Michael Mings of Hobbs, N.M.; daughters, Carol Lester and Linda Ragland, both of Eunice, N.M., Elaine Mings of Dolores, Colo., Sharon Rubinstein of Galt, Calif., and Anita Norris of Midland; brothers, Cecil Mings of Kingsland and Calton Mings of Marysville, Calif.; sister, Peggy McCorkle of Euless; 18 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

KERMIT — Eulala Ratliff Nutt, 69, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Eastside Church of Christ with Brian McGonagill officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery.
Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Sayre, Okla., and has been a resident of Kermit for 58 years. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Leon Nutt of Kermit; son, Zane Nutt of Odessa; daughter, Eulonda Everest of Kermit; brother, Elmer Ratliff of Midland; and three grandchildren.
Ramona Palma
ODESSA — Ramona Martinez Palma, 55, of Odessa died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Emiliano Samuel officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery.

She was born in San Antonio Del Bravo, Chihuahua, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Guadalupe Palma of Odessa; son, Jose Alfredo Palma of Odessa; daughters, Margarita Evelina Palma and Gloria Esther Barron, both of Odessa; brother, Felix T. Martinez of Odessa; sisters, Lucia M. Boy and Maria Estela Carranza, both of Odessa; and four grandchildren.

KERMIT — Thelma Cheney Walker, 83, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. J.R. Manning officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery.
Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Hallesbille and had been a resident of Kermit for 41 years. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Floyd Walker of Kermit; son, Jimmy Joe Walker of Kermit; sister, Lillie Skrobarcek of La Bernia; and one grandchild.
Marilea Parsons
Marilea Parsons, 76, of Pecos died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.
Services are pending with Pecos Funeral Home.

BIG SPRING — Aaron Lloyd Boadle, 18, of Big Spring, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, at a Columbia, Mo., hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Carroll Kohl and Steve Stutz officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
He was born in Big Spring. He was Lutheran.

CRANE — Jackie Don Byrd, 58, of Crane, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at his residence.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Bapitst Church with the Revs. Henry Botello and Ellis Lane officiating. Private graveside services will be held at a later time. Arragements by Richard W. Box Funeral Home.
He was born in Dexter, N.M., and moved to Crane in 1979.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Colleen Byrd of Crane; daughters, Christy Holland of Diamond, Mo., Cathy Davis of Canyon Lake and Brandi Byrd of Odessa; sister, Marie Leslie of Clovis, N.M.; and three grandchildren.

MIDLAND — Vera Ann McClure, 60, of Midland, a retired teacher, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ellis Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Tims officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.

She was born in Runge. She was Baptist.

SEMINOLE — Ozella Montgomery, 94, of Seminole, a retired nurse, died Monday, Aug. 23, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 4 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home of Seminole.
She was born in Jones County and moved to Seminole in 1940.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Alton Montgomery of Odessa and Jerry Montgomery of Levelland; sister, Alva Lauderdale of Jayton; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Nora Wagner
ANDREWS — Nora Frances Wagner, 91, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Permian General Hospital.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at McNett Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Burns officiating. Burial will be in Andrews West cemetery.

She was born in Waldron, Ark., and moved to Andrews in 1989 from Seminole. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
