ODESSA — Lupe R. Lopez, 56, of Odessa, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at her residence.

Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

Aurora Brito

ODESSA — Aurora Olivo Brito, 70, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fidelo Lugo officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Martinez Funeral Home. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

She was born in Carlsbad, N.M. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Manuel Brito of Odessa; brothers, Nacho Olivo of Loving, N.M. and Manuel Olivo of Phoenix; and sister, Anita Rodriguez of Phoenix.

Allen Harris

ODESSA — Allen Harris, 85, of Odessa, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Deerings Nursing Home.

Arrangements are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

Velma Williams

ANDREWS — Velma "Mac" Williams, 82, of Odessa, a registered nurse, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at her home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kevin Strempke and Eddie Marcum officiating. Burial will be at Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Spadra, Ark. She served as a registered nurse in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She and her husband owned Jay’s Grocery in Andrews from 1961 to 1977. She was Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Becky Forbus of Odessa; sons, Martin J. Williams II of West Columbia and Michael L. Williams of Alpine; and three grandsons.

Pauline Goodyear

ODESSA — Pauline Wood Goodyear, 82, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Fort Stockton.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Ernest Easley officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Wewoka, Okla. She lived in Odessa since the late 1930s. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, Craig Goodyear of Odessa; brother, Leroy Wood of Stockton, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

ODESSA — Ladell Mooreland, 89, of Fort Worth, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Hospice House.

Arrangements are pending with Martinez Funeral Home and Bakers Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

ODESSA — Eldora Adams, 84, of Odessa died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Johnny Dickerson officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Hermleigh. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Calvin Adams of Arlington and Jerry Adams of Seattle; daughter, Ruby Scott of Odessa; sisters, Cleo Womack of Melbourne, Fla., and Sadie Dixon of Crane; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Cecilia Aguilar

McCAMEY — Cecilia Aguilar, 90, of McCamey, a homemaker, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Barry McLean officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven cemetery. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

She was born in Presidio. She was a longtime McCamey resident. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Manuel Aguilar, Nemesio Aguilar Jr., and Louis Aguilar, all of McCamey, and M.C. Aguilar, Frank Aguilar and Joe Aguilar, all of Odessa; daughters, Katy Gomez, Anna Sanchez and Esiquia Villegas, all of McCamey, Mary Subia of Big Lake, Carmen Ortega of Pecos, Margie Rey of Wink and Gloria Villenuevene, Susie Flores and Rosa Aguilar, all of Odessa; brother, Felipe Corrales of McCamey; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Billy Greenfield

BIG SPRING — Billy Greenfield, 67, of Big Spring, a retired employee of Fina, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Midland Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Myers and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Myers and Smith Funeral Home.

He was born in Merkel. He lived in Big Spring for 44 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Lillian Greenfield of Big Spring; daughter, Gaylene Hodnett of Big Spring; son, Scott Greenfield of Big Spring; sister, Peggy Joy Greenfield of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; brother, Jay Greenfield of Odessa; and two grandsons.

David Montgomery

ODESSA — David Montgomery, 69, of Odessa, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Ray Brown officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

He was born in Hot Springs, Ark.

SURVIVORS: Son, David Junior Montgomery of Edmund, Okla.; daughters, Linda Smith of New London, Diann Franks and Sherry McCord, both of Edmund, Okla., and Susan Montgomery of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brother, Jack Montgomery of Hot Springs, Ark.; sisters, Opal Weldon of Amity, Ark., and Willie Troxel and Gloria Pool, both of Hot Springs, Ark.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Don Rogers

HOBBS, N.M. — Don F. Rogers, 65, of Ruidoso, N.M., retired owner of Don Rogers Wrecker Service and Repo City, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, in Hobbs, N.M.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Erickson officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Home.

He was born in Loving, N.M. He moved to Hobbs, N.M. in 1947. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

SURVIVORS: Stepfather, Claud Morris of Hobbs, N.M.; mother, Marie Morris of Hobbs, N.M.; son, Bobby Davis of Santa Fe, N.M.; daughters, Barbara Groves of Lebanon, Mo., Kellie Murrish of Hobbs, N.M., Deeon Gallegos of San Diego, Calif., Lara Bailey of Santa Fe, N.M., and Donice Jarrett of Cairo, Egypt; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
