Alfredo Marquez

ODESSA - Alfredo Marquez, 45, died Thursday, April 24, 1997, at his residence.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Buenas Nuevas Assembly of God with the Rev. Rosario Hill officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and was a resident of Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Jesus Alfredo Marquez of Dallas and Jose Alfredo Marquez of Artesia, N.M.; daughter, Michel Anaya of Dallas; father, Ramon Marquez of Odessa; brothers, Juan Marquez, Martin Marquez, Concepcion Marquez, Jaime Marquez, Ruben Martinez and Maurilio Martinez, all of Odessa; and sisters, Maria Marquez of Dallas, Francisca Tarango and Cristina Rameriz, both of Odessa.

James Robinson

STANTON - James Melvin Robinson, 83, a retired Forest Oil employee, died Thursday, April 24, 1997, in Odessa.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Stanton Church of Christ. Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.

He was born in Energy, Texas, and was a resident of Stanton before moving to Odessa and then Breckenridge. He was a Presbyterian.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Juanita Denton Robinson of Breckenridge; sons, James Monroe Robinson of Breckenridge and Earl Ray Robinson of Laurel, Miss.; daughter, Johnie Ruth Grainger of San Antonio; brother, James Elvin Robinson of Corona, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and 16 grandchildren.

David Allen

MARATHON - David M. 'Dave' Allen, 86, a retired heavy equipment operator, died Thursday, April 24, 1997, in Lubbock.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Marathon cemetery with David Allen and Doug McGuire officiating. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.

He was born in Richland Springs, Texas, and was a resident of Alpine. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Irene Allen of Alpine; son, David Michael Allen of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Patricia Gulihur of Alpine; sister, Mary A. Gay of Midland; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Renda Cleaver

ODESSA - Renda Bernice Cleaver, 69, a homemaker, died Sunday, April 20, 1997, in Casper, Wyo.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roscoe Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

She was born in Henrietta, Texas, and was a resident of Odessa before moving to Casper, Wyo. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Michael Dwayne Williams and Mark Dwight Cleaver, both of Denver, Colo.; daughter, Donna Michelle Williams-Laing of Dallas; and four grandchildren.

Teresa Serrano

ANDREWS - Teresa Serrano, 48,®MDNM¯ a homemaker, died Sunday, April 27, 1997, at her residence.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Iglesia De Cristo with Jaime Valdez officiating. Burial will be at Las Conchas cemetery in Las Conchas, Mexico. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Las Conchas, Mexico, and was a resident of Andrews. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Mario Serrano of Ojinaga, Mexico, and Samuel Serrano of Andrews; daughters, Maria R. Sanchez, Armida Navarrete and Antonia Serrano, all of Andrews; brother, Gregorio Burciaga of Ojinaga, Mexico; sisters, Manuela Burciaga of Ojinaga, Mexico, Brijida Navarrete of Presidio and Maria Zubia of Odessa; and five grandchildren.

Martha Shirey

ODESSA - Martha Norene Shirey, 39, a homemaker, died Friday, April 25, 1997, in Odessa.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Randy Grosenbach officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Rocky Creek cemetery in Brownwood. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Brownwood and was a resident of Odessa. She was a member of Westside Christian Church.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Tom Shirey of Odessa; sons, Robert Shirey and Jeffrey Shirey, both of Odessa; daughters, Heather Miller and Amanda Rollins, both of Odessa; father, Roy Miller of Odessa; mother, Ginger Miller of Odessa; brothers, Tommy Miller, Jimmy Miller and David Miller, all of Odessa; and sisters, Vonda Williamson, Verna Fox, Dolly Chamberlin, Modine VanHuss, Caroline Wilkerson and Myrtie Fulton, all of Brownwood.

Bill Ferguson

McKINNEY - Bill Ferguson, 68, a postal carrier, died Tuesday, April 29, 1997, at Columbia Medical Center in McKinney.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson- Morrow Chapel in McKinney. Burial will be at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Arrangements by Turrentine- Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.

He was born in Ballinger and was a resident of Odessa before moving to Princeton, Texas.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Jeanne Ferguson of Princeton; sons, Glenn Ferguson of North Richland Hills, Billy Ferguson of Wills Point, and Zane Ferguson of Princeton; and six grandchildren.

Sheila Lujan

KERMIT - Sheila Vasquez Lujan, 29, a welder, died Monday, April 28, 1997, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Temple of Jeruselum in Kermit with the Rev. Carlo Ruben Juarez officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and was a resident of Montezuma, Kan.

SURVIVORS: Father, Espedito Vasquez of Kermit; mother, Virginia Vasquez of Kermit; son, Hilario Ruben Lujan of Montezuma, Kan.; daughter, Krista Victoria Lujan of Montezuma, Kan.; sisters, Carmen Porras, Maria Porras, Blanca Polanco and Betty Morales, all of Kermit; grandfathers, Guadalupe Lujan of Montezuma, Kan., and Benedicto Vasquez of Presidio; and grandmother, Rosa Lujan of Montezuma.

Rex Richardson

PLEASANT HILL, N.M. - Rex Lyn Richardson, 45, a Fields and Company assistant manager, died Sunday, April 27, 1997, at Odessa Medical Center.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday MST at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Hawkins and Rev. Jim Peabody officiating. Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, N.M. Arrangements by Steed-Todd Funeral Home.

He was born in Clovis, N.M., and was a resident of Gardendale. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Father, Lee Richardson of Texico, N.M.; mother, Lola Richardson of Texico, N.M.; brothers, Ted Richardson of Texico, N.M., and Ken Richardson of Roswell; and sisters, Vicke Autrey of Alto, N.M., and Carla Kaltwasser of Farwell.

Donald Schwartz

MIDLAND - Donald Schwartz, 47, a truck driver, died Monday, April 28, 1997, in Midland.

He was born in Lovington, N.M., and was a resident of Midland.

ODESSA - Mamie Stolzman, 95, a retired waitress, died Sunday, April 27, 1997, in Farwell, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Freemont, and moved to Odessa from Michigan in 1975. She was a Methodist.
