FORT STOCKTON — Maria Fuentez Alvarez, 90, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, in Fort Stockton.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.

She was born in Marathon. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Joe F. Alvarez of Fort Stockton and Manuel F. Alvarez Jr. of Round Rock; daughters, Rosa Carrillo of Carlsbad, N.M., Minnie Dominguez of Fort Stockton and Mary Esparza of Plano; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Willie Jones

ODESSA — Willie Jones, 72, of Odessa died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at his residence.

Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Robin Goodwin

ODESSA — Robin Mayme Goodwin, 36, of Odessa, an employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, in Odessa.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Sherry Holloman officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Fort Wayne, Ind., and moved to Odessa in 1980 from Ohio.

SURVIVORS: Son, Kaimen Goodwin of Odessa; daughter, Megan Mayme Goodwin of Odessa; father, John Goodwin of Lima, Ohio; sisters, Susan Bond of Odessa and Jennifer Bueter of Findley, Ohio; and brother, William John Goodwin of Indianapolis.

Exie Pope

MIDLAND — Exie Mae Pope, 89, of Midland, a retired employee of Memorial Hospital and Medical Center, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s C.M.E. Church with W.C. Kenan officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home.

She was born Pittsburg and was a longtime resident of Midland.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Robert Pope Sr. of Los Angeles, Billy Joe Battles of Willingboro, N.J., and James Pope of Midland; daughters, Winnie Maxey, Eloise Dunson, Alice Battles and Virginia Pope, all of Midland, and Alberta Hollins of Lubbock; brother, Warren Henderson of Midland; sister, Retha Nelson of Midland; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Charlotte Stedman

ODESSA — Charlotte Jean Stedman, 48, of Odessa, a nurse, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Clydell Chapman officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

She was born in Odessa and was a lifelong resident. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Brent Stedman of Odessa; son, Zachary Stedman of Odessa; parents, Don and Mary Jo Martin of Odessa; brothers, Ricky Martin of Midland and David T. Martin of Leander; and sister, Donna Pufal of San Antonio.

Van Lanning

CRANE — Van Lanning, 85, of Crane died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at his residence.

Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

Lou Love

ODESSA — Lou Love, 83, of Odessa died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at her residence.

MIDLAND — The infant daughter of Jorgy and Rebecca Martin of Midland died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.

Donovan Jaquez

MONAHANS — Donovan John Jaquez, 2, of Monahans died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at a Lubbock hospital.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Ben Flores officiating. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at Harkey Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

He was born in Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Parents, Lucas and Belia Jaquez of Monahans; brother, Damien Jaquez of Monahans; grandparents, Ester and Juan Jaquez and Lupe and Aida Gabaldon, all of Monahans; and great-grandparents, Macario and Esperanza Abila of Barstow, Mike and Josephine Valle of Monahans and Manuela Jaquez of Dallas.

Brian Love

ODESSA — Brian Ray Love, 20, of Odessa, an oil lube shop technician, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, in Odessa.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Don Caywood officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

He was born in Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Parents, Danny and Carla Love of Odessa; sisters, Dana June Love of Dallas and Amber Gail Love of Odessa; and grandparents, Evelyn Dennis of Big Spring, Jack Henderson of Odessa and June Henderson of Midland.

ODESSA — Ramon Molinar, 45, of Odessa, a licensed vocational nurse, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at St. Frances Medical Center in Lynwood, Calif.

Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

He was born in Texas.

SURVIVORS: Father, Elias Molinar of El Paso; brothers, Francisco Molinar of Odessa, Jorge Luis Molinar and Juan Molinar, both of El Paso, and Martin Molinar of Fort Worth; and sisters, Clara Molinar of Odessa and Corina Molinar of El Paso.

Gail Moses

ANDREWS — Gail Cathleen Moses, 77, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Burial will follow at the Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Springhill, Okla., and moved to Andrews two years ago from Bentonville, Ark.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Ray Moses of Andrews; sons, Howell Scott of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lane Scott of Ogden, Utah; daughter, Juanita Cathleen Phillips of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; brother, Jerry Holloway of Springdale, Ark.; sisters, Maxine Walker of Porter, Okla., Minnie Jordan of Panama City, Fla., Nadine Wehunt of Booneville, Ark., Marie Holloway and Nancy Edsal, both of Sacramento, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

SEMINOLE — T.O. Oldham, 77, of Lamesa, a retired oilfield worker, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gaines County Memorial cemetery with the Rev. E.R. Holder officiating. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

He was born in Throckmorton County and moved to Lamesa in 1997 from Seminole. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Helen Oldham of Lamesa; son, Leslie Oldham of Abilene; daughter, Martha Ann Whitehead of Plano; stepson, Darrell Seitern of Carlsbad, N.M.; stepdaughters, Janette Turner of Lamesa and Dolores Walker of Midland; sisters, Kathleen Burrows of Fort Worth and Avis Boyd of Wichita Falls; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
