Bernard Jares

PECOS - Bernard D. Jares, 73, a retired test track Driver, died Thursday, May 22, 1997, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Henson officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

He was born in Dickenson, N.D., and was a resident of Pecos. He was a World War II Navy veteran.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Tony Jares of Temple, Jerry Jares of Dayton and Gilbert Ortega of Midland; daughters, Debbie Gomez of Andrews and Yolanda Fuentez and Candy Martinez, both of Midland; brother, Ed Jares of Kingman, Ariz.; sisters, Katherine Wetsch of W.Va., Georgia Zuselt and Florence Smith, both of Utah, Dorothy Ingwerson and Louise Mewcomb, both of Oregon, and Maryetta Pond and Ann Burns, both of Wyoming; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Eunice Myers

MONAHANS - Eunice Josephine Myers, 86, a homemaker, died Monday, May 19, 1997, at Monahans Senior Center.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harkey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Everrett Hewett officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

She was born in Pauls Valley, Okla., and was a resident of Monahans. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, John Myers of Monahans; daughters, Joan Brown of Rangely, Colo., and Peggy Austin of Canoga Park, Calif.; sister, Alta Lee Smith of Dallas; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Ruby Sisson

ANDREWS - Ruby Sisson, 95, died Wednesday, May 21, 1997, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the United Pentecostal Church in Andrews with the Revs. Bill Stroud and Robert Blakeney officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in McLennan and was a resident of Andrews.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Patsy Miller of Andrews; stepson, David Sisson of Big Spring; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Warren Beatty
KERMIT - Warren D. Beatty, 66, a truck driver, died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, in Winkler County Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Belvue Baptist Church in Kermit with the Rev. Bill Campbell. Burial will be at the Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

He was born in Greenburg, Kan., and was a resident of Wink for 40 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Violet Beatty of Wink; daughters, Louise Stanley of Wink and Delores Fickling of Eakly, Okla.; brothers, Gene Beatty of Coldwater, Kan., and Curtis Beatty of Houston; sisters, Geraldine Poyner of Greenforce, Ark., Grace Copeland of Mullenville, Kan., Edith Black and Ruth Keith, both of Coldwater, Kan., Iris Cole of Wichita, Kan., and Ann Hollister of Miller, Mo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Ronnie Dunnam

BROWNWOOD - Ronnie Lee Dunnam, 50, a sales representative for an oil company, died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Brownwood. Arrangements by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

He was born in Paris, Texas, and was a resident of Abilene before moving to Fort Worth. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Susan Dunnam of Fort Worth; son, Brad Lee Dunnam of Odessa; daughter, Tracee Dawn Machaelis of Odessa; brothers, Bradley Dunnam of Abilene and Larry Dunnam of Canadian; sisters, Sammie Plant of San Angelo, Jerry L. Currey of Abilene and Gailyn Albritton of Odessa; and one grandchild.

Ernest Flenniken

LAMESA - Ernest Merrill Flenniken, 92, a farmer, died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at Avalon Place in Odessa.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Branon Funeral Home Chapel in Lamesa with the Rev. Clifton Igo officiating. Burial will be at Lamesa Memorial Park. Arrangements by Branon Funeral Home.

He was born in Knox County and was a resident of Lamesa. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, B.W. 'Red' Flenniken of Odessa; daughter, Doris Biggerstaff of Kingsland; brother, J.B. Flenniken of Kilgore; eight grandchildren; and several great- grandchildren.

Juan Fuentes

PECOS - Juan 'Johnny' Fuentes, 43, an oil field driller, died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at Westwood Memorial Hospital in Midland.

Rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Pecos with the Rev. Ed Carpenter officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

He was a lifetime resident of Pecos. He was a Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Angie Fuentes of Pecos; sons, Johnny Fuentes Jr., Eddie Fuentes and Jerry Fuentes, all of Pearsall, and Patrick Alex Fuentes of Pecos; daughters, Crystal Fuentes of Houston and Cynthia Scott of Plano; brothers, Gabriel Orona Jr. and Jesus Orona, both of Pecos, Herminio Orona and Raymond Orona, both of Carson, Calif., Domingo Orona of Torrence, Calif., Enrique Orona, Roy Orona and Tray Orona, all of Long Beach, Calif., and Danny Orona of California; sisters, Ramona Gonzales and Belen Natividad, both of Pecos, Noe Lara of Austin, Esperanza Hernandez of Carson, Calif., Dora Barrera of Long Beach, Calif., and Yolanda Cisneros of Torrence, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Cozette Mitchell

JAL, N.M. - Cozette Mitchell, 72, a homemaker, died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at her residence.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday MST at the First Baptist Church of Jal with the Rev. Michael Summers officiating. Burial will be at Jal Cooper cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel of Kermit.

She was born in Rising Star and was a resident of Jal, N.M., for 47 years. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Doyle Vernon Mitchell of Jal; son, Doyle Parker Mitchell of Laughlin, Nev.; daughter, Mary Jean Hawthorne of Austin; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Dora Molina

MONAHANS - Dora Oyerbides Molina, 44, a secretary, died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, in Lubbock.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Third and Dwight Church of Christ in Monahans. Burial will be at the Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

She was a lifetime resident of Monahans. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Father, Manuel 'Sarge' Molina of Monahans; and sisters, Delia Cavazoz of Crane, Delma Bustos and Diana Molina, both of Monahans.

Mary Moore

ODESSA - Mary Moore, 63, of Odessa died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at her residence.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

James C. Coffee

ODESSA - James C. Coffee, 75, died Sunday, May 25, 1997, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors chapel with the Rev. John Rasco officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements made by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born May 16, 1922, in Groesbeck and lived most of his life in Odessa. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Ann Osterloh of Odessa and Sharon Miller of Midland; brother, Truman Coffee of Odessa; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Manuela Rodriguez

MARFA - Manuela Rodriguez, 70, died Saturday, May 24, 1997, in a Fort Stockton nursing home.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in the Memorial Funeral Home chapel in Marfa and Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Demetrio Ponce officiating. Burial will be at the Merced cemetery. Arrangements made by Memorial Funeral Home.

She was born May 10, 1927, in Shafter and she was a Catholic.
