Eva Stephenson

PAMPA - Eva Stephenson, 86, former co-owner of T. Mountain Resort in Lake City, Colo., died Friday, May 30, 1997, in Amarillo.

Memorial services were held Monday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Edwin Cooley officiating. Additional memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ware Memorial Care Center. Arrangements by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

She was born in Longton, Kan., and was a resident of Pampa. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pampa.

SURVIVORS: Son, Philip Stephenson of Carrollton; daughter, Kay Hill of Midland; sister, Eulalia Bird of Longton; and one grandchild.

Martha Webb

MIDLAND - Martha May Webb, 59, head counselor for the Clover House of Odessa, died Sunday, June 1, 1997, at her residence.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with her brother the Rev. Sam Webb officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.

She was born in Abilene and was a resident of Midland.

SURVIVORS: Sons, William Vinson of Midland and Marc Vinson of Austin; daughters, Leslie Vinson of Waco and Gena Inman of College Station; mother, Gladys Terrill of Midland; brothers, Sam Webb of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Nathan Webb of Houston; and five grandchildren.

Theresa Garrett

MILES - Theresa Mary Garrett, 93, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 1, 1997, at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Miles cemetery with the Rev. Paul Terry officiating. Arrangements by Johnson's Funeral Home.

She was born near Miles and was a resident of San Angelo. She was a Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Sister, Geraldine Schuhmann of Odessa; and brother, Edward Schovajsa of Amherst.

Deborah Marciano

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Deborah Marciano, 48, an employee at AM&A; department store, died Monday, June 2, 1997, at her residence.

Rosary was said Tuesday at Joseph Spano and Sons Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. today EST at Holy Angels Church in Buffalo, N.Y. Burial will be in Buffalo. Arrangements by Joseph Spano and Sons Funeral Home.

She was a lifetime resident of Buffalo. She was a Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Michael Marciano of Buffalo; son, Michael Marciano of Buffalo; daughters, Maggie Marciano and Lisa Marciano, both of Buffalo; father, Joseph Cimini of Las Vegas; mother, Joie Hanlon of Odessa; and brothers, Pat Cimini and Jospeh 'Junior' Cimini, both of Las Vegas.

Leon Proctor

ODESSA - Leon 'Mutt' Proctor, 79, a retired auto mechanic, died Tuesday, June 3, 1997, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Brownfield and was a resident of Odessa. He was an Army veteran.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Jerry Proctor of Roswell, N.M., and Leo Proctor of Midland; stepdaughter, Neline Tallant of Winters; brothers, Bill Proctor and Lee Proctor, both of Odessa; sisters, Carrie May Kirsche and Ozella Green, both of Odessa and Flossie Nutt of Brownfield; three grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.

Alton Scrogum Jr.

OLNEY - Alton Elwood Scrogum Jr., 64, a retired auto mechanic, died Tuesday, June 3, 1997, in Big Spring.

Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. today at Lunn Funeral Home Chapel in Olney with the Rev. Woody Scrogum officiating. Burial will be at Elbert cemetery in Elbert. Arrangements by Lunn Funeral Home.

He was born in Levelland and was a resident of Odessa. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Church of God.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Bettie Scrogum of Odessa; sons, A.E. 'Woody' Scrogum Jr., of Odessa, Billy Wayne Scrogum of Lanagan, Mich., and Charles Ray Scrogun of Odessa; daughter, Kathy June Smith of Azle; stepsons, Jimmy Lynn Kee of Olney and Dennis James Kee of Canton, Ohio; brothers, W.L. Scrogum of Seymour and J.D. Lasley of Mineral Wells; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Deborah Silvester

ODESSA - Deborah Ann Silvester, 47, a desk clerk at Days Inn, died Tuesday, June 3, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Burial will be in Phelps, Ky. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Phelps and was a resident of Odessa. She was a Presbyterian.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Victor Silvester of Odessa; son, James Silvester of Odessa; daughters, Sandi Silvester and Amanda Silvester, both of Odessa; father, Jim Booth of Phelps; mother, Blanche Booth of Phelps; brothers, James Booth and Michael Booth, both of Phelps; and sister, Nancy Sanson of Phelps.

Dal Johnston

ODESSA - Dal Johnston, 71, died Monday, June 9, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Salt Lake City and moved to Odessa in 1981 from Big Spring. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Mal Johnston of Odessa; son, Stewart Johnston of Santa Fe, N.M.; daughters, Anne Prescott of Denver, Colo., and Kathy Armijo of Santa Fe; and brother, Stan Johnston of Hacienda Heights, Calif.

Achel Ligon

TYLER - Achel D. Ligon, 85, a homemaker, died Saturday, June 7, 1997, at her residence.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home in Tyler with the Revs. Joe Kirkwood and Wilton McMorris officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home in Tyler.

She was born in Taylor County. She lived in Odessa for 30 years and was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, David Ligon of Tyler; brother, Bruce Wingo of Pasadena; sisters, Lena Lasater of Whiteface and Dee Miles of Monroe, Wash; three granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.

Debra Mason

KERMIT - Debra Kay Mason, 38, a nurse, died Sunday, June 8, 1997, in Laredo.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Belvue Baptist Church in Kermit. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangments by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

She was born in Crane and was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Parents, Charles and Mary Mason of Laredo; brothers, Terry Lynn Mason of McAllen, Thomas Ray Mason and Timothy Jay Mason, both of Kermit.

Robert McNutt

MONAHANS - Robert C. McNutt, 84, a retired machinist, died Monday, June 9, 1997.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel with Allie Balko officiating. Burial will be at Monahans cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

He moved to Monahans in 1973 from Seagoville. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, Tom McNutt of Wickett; daughter, Bobene Burrow of Monahans; sister, Lois Bradbury of Bentonville, Ark.; brothers, Thomas McNutt of Rockport, Harley McNutt and Floyd McNutt, both of Bentonville; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
