FILLMORE, Calif. - Barbara Pierce, 74, of Fillmore, Calif., a homemaker, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, in Santa Paula, Calif.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Skillin Carroll Mortuary with the Rev. Sue Webb officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bardsdale cemetery. Arrangements by Skillin Carroll Mortuary.

She was born in Champion and lived in Fillmore for 32 years.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Chyrel Hill of Fillmore and Judy Archer of Odessa; sisters, Bertha Lee Dyess of Palm Springs, Calif., and Tommie Lou Banta of Kingman, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Senovia Uranga

ALPINE - Senovia Fierro Uranga, 75, of Alpine, a homemaker, died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at a local nursing home.

Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will be at Holy Angels cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.

She was born in Alpine and was a lifelong resident. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Nieces, Merced Uranga and Lorina Uranga, both of Alpine, Berta Hernandez of Palacios and Maria Elena Juarez of Palmdale, Calif.; and nephews, Rex Uranga Jr. of Odessa, Armando Uranga of Alpine and Joe Luis Uranga of Sanderson.

ODESSA - Juanita Gee, 73, of Odessa died Friday, June 1, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Robert Gille

ODESSA - Robert H. Gille, 84, of Marfa died Friday, June 1, 2001, at Hospice House.

Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

Wanda Thompson

ODESSA - Wanda Marie Thompson, 78, of Odessa died Friday, June 1, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Maria Alvarez

ODESSA - Maria Trinidad Alvarez, 73, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at her residence.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

She was born in Ruidosa. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Manuel Alvarez of Odessa, Martin Alvarez and Gonzalo Alvarez, both of Alpine; daughters, Maria A. Martinez of Odessa, Paula A. Spriggs and Tommie A. Jones, both of San Antonio; brother, Juan de la Cruz Alvarez of Fort Stockton; sister, Juanita Alvarez of Marfa; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Monroe Buels

ODESSA - Monroe T. Buels, 87, of Odessa, a retired employee of Marks Crane and Rigging Co., died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with Dr. Jesse Cone officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Fort Bend and moved to Odessa in 1951. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVOR: Son, Ralph M. Buels of Georgetown.

Jeanne Fouke

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Jeanne Clapham Fouke, 57, of Broken Arrow, Okla., vice president and bookkeeper for Tulsa Valve and Fitting Co., died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, in Broken Arrow.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Boston Avenue Methodist Church with Dr. Mouzon Biggs Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Floral Haven Funeral Home.

She was born in Ada, Okla., and lived in Odessa and Houston before moving to Tulsa in 1977.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Bob Fouke of Broken Arrow; son, John Fouke of Bixby, Okla.; daughter, Charlene Watts of Tulsa; brother, Mark Clapham of Conroe; and three grandchildren.

Orene Ingram

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Orene M. Ingram, 85, of Broken Arrow, Okla., retired senior accounting officer for an oil company, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, in Broken Arrow.

Services will be private. Arrangements by Floral Haven Funeral Home.

She was born in Jarrell and had been a resident of Odessa.

SURVIVORS: There are no survivors listed.

Lee McDonald

ODESSA - Lee Ralph McDonald, 89, of Odessa, a retired engineering aide in the petroleum business, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, in Odessa.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Crescent Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Owens officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

He was born in Deshler, Ohio, and moved to Odessa in 1966 from Midland. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Mamie McDonald of Odessa; son, Jimmie L. McDonald of La Porte; daughter, Sue Farley of Tulsa, Okla.; sisters, Lula Mathias of Breckenridge and Bernida Harris of Arlington; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Jay Mehaffey

ODESSA - Jay H. Mehaffey, 80, of Odessa, a retired television broadcaster, died Friday, March 2, 2001, at his residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Cheryl Homsher officiating. Burial will be in Colfax, Iowa. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Grinnell, Iowa, was a resident of Odessa for 53 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Presbyterian.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Jeanette Bowden Mehaffey of Odessa; stepsons, Larry Phillips of Burnett and Harry Phillips of Austin; sister, Shannon Rae Brown of Des Moines, Iowa; and three grandchildren.

Wilma Neves

MONAHANS - Wilma Faye "Mee-Ma" Neves, 69, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. David Lively officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

She was born in McCauley and was a resident of Monahans since 1962. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Mike Neves and Tim Neves, both of Monahans; daughters, Debbie Clark of Wickett and Vickie Neves of Monahans; sisters, Jackie Embrey and Jo Embrey, both of Hamlin, Paula Moore and Peggy Portwood, both of Aspermont, and Betty Rowan of Sweetwater; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

John Phillips

MIDLAND - John Weldon Phillips, 70, of Midland, a retired aerospace engineer, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at a Midland hospital.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Yucca Theatre. Arrangements by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.

He was born in Fort Worth. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Enid Phillips of Midland; daughter, Teresa Phillips of Corrales, N.M.; sons, Steven Phillips of Midland, Gregory Phillips and Allan Phillips, both of Seattle; father, Paul M. Phillips of Las Cruces, N.M.; and two grandchildren.

Marguerite Snead

ODESSA - Marguerite Snead, 80, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, March 2, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to Odessa in 1957. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, Bobby Snead of Gardendale; daughter, Sheron A. Williams of Odessa; sister, Evelyn Lusby of Washington, D.C.; and two granddaughters.
