KERMIT - Howard N. Wall, 72, of Kermit, a retired service station owner, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Belvue Baptist Church with the Rev. Emmett Upchurch officiating. Burial will be at the Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

He was born in Elgin, Kan., and was a resident of Kermit for 59 years. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Vella Wall of Kermit; son, Joe Wall of Wink; daughter, Zotyne Smith of Kermit; stepsons, Bryan Gray and Mike Gray, both of Kermit; brother, Dolphus Wall of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Calvin Wilson

KERMIT - Calvin F. Wilson, 76, of Wink, a retired self-employed contractor and pumper, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Redwine officiating. Burial will be at the Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

He was born in Trent and was a resident of Wink for 56 years. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Frankie Wilson of Artesia, N.M., Jerry Wilson of San Angelo, Royce Wilson of Marble Falls and Glynn Wilson of Granite Shoals; daughters, Wanda Bond of Del Rio and Sandra Wilson of Wink; sister, Elizabeth Ballard of Sweetwater; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Richard Goin

WARD COUNTY - Richard A. "Dick" Goin, 45, of Odessa died Sunday, June 17, 2001, in Ward County.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Edna Cook

BALMORHEA - Edna Cook, 91, of Big Spring, a homemaker, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at a local nursing home.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Moon officiating. Burial will follow at the Balmorhea cemetery. Arrangements by Myers and Smith Funeral Home.

She was born in Pontotoc, Miss., and had been a resident of Balmorhea. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Pecos Cook of Balmorhea and Jack D. Cook of Odessa; daughters, Juanita Rogers of Lubbock, Dolly Bryant and Vera Martin, both of Big Spring, and Maggie Linda Armstead of Levelland; brother, Edward Haney of Carlsbad, N.M.; sisters, Opal Barber and Vera Peterson, both of Big Spring; 24 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Don Doughdrill

ODESSA - Don Doughdrill, 88, of Odessa, a retired employee of Loffland Brothers Co., died Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Westwood Medical Center in Midland.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Rex Clayton officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Oakvale, Miss., and moved to Odessa in 1949. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.

SURVIVOR: Son, Richard Doughdrill of Odessa.

Lillian Minter

ODESSA - Lillian Ruth Minter, 90, of Odessa, a retired secretary for Sixth and Jackson Church of Christ, died Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Hospice House.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ector County cemetery with Bennie Keck and Roy Smalling officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Ranger and moved to Odessa in 1940. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Talmage Minter Jr. of Waco and Roger Minter of Odessa; three granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

Edward Ledoux

ODESSA - Edward Ledoux, 71, of Odessa died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

ODESSA - Don G. Lynn, 51, of Odessa died Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Odessa Regional Hospital.

ODESSA - Johnny C. McCasland, 75, of Odessa, a retired salesman, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Ring officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

He was born in Lake Arthur, N.M., and moved to Odessa in 1968. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Bonnie Jean McCasland of Odessa; son, Johnny McCasland of Midland; brother, Will McCasland of Eunice, N.M.; sister, Cecil Colvin of Canon City, Colo.; and three grandchildren.

Annie Miller

ODESSA - Annie Guinn Miller, 92, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at her residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Strempke officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Loving County. She was Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Anna Miller Connally of Midland, Betty Miller Lain and Mickey Miller Fletcher, both of Odessa; son, James F. Miller of Odessa; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Hettie Sides

ODESSA - Hettie Lavelle Sides, 91, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at Hospice House.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Terry Pugh officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Strawn and was a longtime resident of Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Jerry Sides of Midland and Arlin Sides of Odessa; daughter, Rosalie Sides Brumlow of Floresville; sister, Hazel Phipps of Midland; brother, J.D. Litton of Waco; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Marcus Smith

ODESSA - Marcus Lee "Pete" Smith, 69, of Odessa, a retired employee of Charles J. George Well Service, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, in Odessa.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Farmersville and was a longtime resident of Odessa. He was Baptist.

ODESSA - Donna Lee Sullivan, 60, of Odessa, a retired floor supervisor for Furr’s Cafeteria, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at Parks Methodist Village Retirement Village.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in McCamey and had been a resident of Odessa since 1984. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, Lynn R. Sullivan of Odessa; daughter, Lisa Segraves of Laurel, Miss.; mother, Vera Mae Barton Hale of Odessa; and four grandchildren.

ODESSA - Lottie H. Todd, 83, of Eastland, a homemaker, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at Eastland Healthcare Center in Eastland.

She was born in Texas and had been a resident of Odessa. She was Methodist.
