FORT DAVIS - Ramon Acosta Rodriguez, 92, of Fort Davis, a stone mason, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at his residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Brogado and moved to Fort Davis at an early age. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Eduvijen Rodriguez of Fort Davis; sons, Ramon Rodriguez Jr. of Kermit, T.H. Rodriguez of Fort Davis, C.H. Rodriguez of Lewisville and Raul H. Rodriguez of Arlington; daughters, Rita Rodriguez of Chicago, Socorro Brito of El Paso and Rosie Gutierrez of San Angelo; brother, Joe A. Rodriguez Sr. of La Luz, N.M.; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Shannon Ray Weeks, 18, of Odessa, a stocker, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in San Angelo.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Odessa. He was Pentecostal.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Kay Thompson of Odessa; stepfather, Red Smith of Odessa; stepbrothers, Billy Smith, David Smith and Jason Smith, all of Odessa; stepsisters, Kandis Sweeden and Krystle Sweeden, both of Odessa; and grandparents, Fanita Minica of Odessa and Butch Slaughter of Brownwood.

PECOS - Refugio “Cuco” Chavez, 65, of Pecos died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at his residence.
Services are pending at Pecos Funeral Home.

FORT WORTH - Bobby Doss Blair, 71, a retired teacher and coach, died Sunday, April 29, 2001, at All Saints Hospital.
Graveside services were held Wednesday at Restlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
He was born in Stephenville and was a resident of Fort Worth.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Gayle Julian Foster Blair of Fort Worth; sons, Edwin G. Blair of Dallas and Steven L. Blair of Allen; stepsons, David Foster of Fort Worth and Dale Foster of Little Rock, Ark.; and numerous grandchildren.

Donald Cox
BIG SPRING - Donald “Don” Cox, 59, a dispatcher for Basic Energy, died Wednesday, May 3, 2001, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Glenrest cemetery with the Rev. R.T. Havener officiating. Arrangements by Myers and Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
He was born in Cement, Okla. and moved to Big Spring in June.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lucille Cox of Big Spring; sons, Richard Wright of Odessa and Gregory Wright of Chickasha, Okla.; 11 brothers and sisters; and 13 grandchildren.

ODESSA - Ryan Kale Holland, infant son of Loyd Brian Holland and Emily Beth Buchanan Chamness, both of Big Spring, was stillborn Thursday, May 3, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

He was born in Candelaria. He was Catholic.

He was born in Binghamton, N.Y. He was a Navy veteran.

He was born in Paris, Texas, and was a longtime resident of Odessa. He was Baptist.

She was born in Grainola, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1962. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jack Sullivan of Odessa; sister, Floran Hutchinson of Farmington, N.M.; brothers, Warren Johnston of Artesia, N.M., Robert Johnston of Fallon, Nev., and Wayne Johnston of Albuquerque, N.M.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
