ELECTRA — Gladys Corbell, 87, of Odessa, a retired hairdresser, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the New Electra cemetery. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Clay County.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Bob Corbell of Midland and Gary Corbell of Bakersfield, Calif.; brother, Troy Schmittou of Whitesboro; sisters, Opal Leek of Wichita Falls and Odell Wilkinson of Houston; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Samantha Ojeda
MONAHANS — Samantha Angel Ojeda, an infant, was stillborn Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Monahans Memorial cemetery with Luzelda Olivas officiating. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Erik Ojeda and Sonia Olivas, both of Monahans; and grandparents, Luzelda Olivas of Monahans, Suzanna Garcia of Midland and Antonio Ojeda of Los Angeles.

Eddie Roberson
SEMINOLE — Eddie Joe Roberson, 62, of Seminole, a farm laborer, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at Memorial Hospital in Seminole.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Bush officiating. Burial will follow at the Gaines County cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Cedar Lake and was a lifelong resident of Seminole. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Cheryl Roberson of Seminole; sons, Billy Gregg Roberson of Lubbock and Frank Gene Roberson of Chico; daughter, Kathyrine Dee Knox of Chico; stepson, Matthew Sharp of Dallas; stepdaughter, Tresa Mathney of Watauga; brothers, Bill Roberson of Florida, Bengie Roberson of California and Dalton Roberson of Midland; sisters, Betty Taylor of Seminole, Eunice Huett of Arkansas, Yvonne Culver of New Mexico, Dorthy Lauderdale of Kemp and Shiela Wiltse of California; and five grandchildren.

AUSTIN — Floy Hawkins, 87, of Point Venture died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, in Austin.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Wesley Dishroon
MILES — Wesley G. Dishroon, 84, of Andrews, an oil industry machinist, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Miles cemetery.
He was born in Winnsboro.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Elayne Dishroon of Odessa; son, Dwayne Dishroon of Miles; brother, Gene Dishroon of Las Cruces, N.M.; sisters, Velma Lankford of Las Cruces, N.M., and Ruth Wilson of Carrizozo, N.M.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

PECOS — Manuela Chavez, 89, of Pecos died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Services are pending with Pecos Funeral Home.

Edna Boykin
NATHAN, Ark. — Edna Allen Boykin, 84, of Nashville, Ark., a retired cook, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at a Nashville hospital.
Graveside services were Monday at Academy cemetery with Gerald Eaton and Jack Nivens officiating. Arrangements by Nashville Funeral Home Services.
She was born in Dekalb County, Ala. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Betty Boykin Carroll of Nashville; son, Billy W. Boykin of Houston; sister, Mimmie Allen Nivens of Wichita Falls; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

Eddie Brannan
WOODVILLE — Eddie G. Brannan, 71, of Woodville, a retired oilfield salesman for Benro Pump Co., died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001, at Woodville Convalescent Center.
Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home. Arrangements by Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home.
He was born in Big Spring and had been a resident of Midland and Hobbs, N.M. He was Nazarene.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Terrie O’Hara of Woodville; and two grandchildren.

Sherry Brantley
PECOS — Sherry Lee Brantley, 39, of Pecos, a salesperson for Bryans Nursery in Pecos, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, in Mason.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Stan Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Smith, Ark., and was a resident of Pecos since 1974. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Clifton Brantley and Chris Armstrong, both of Pecos; daughter, Amy Harrison of Fort Still, Okla.; parents, Ervin and Janice Schwindt of Temple; brothers, Sheldon Schwindt of Austin and Scott Schwindt of Temple; and grandparents, Anton and Maggie Schwindt of Dickinson, N.D.

Dorothy Spradlin
PARIS, Texas — Dorothy Spradlin, 60, of Carrollton, a retired employee of J.T. Luckey Co. in Dallas, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at Medical Center of Lewisville.
Services were Monday in the chapel of Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home with Dr. L.C. Stout officiating. Burial was at Union Grove cemetery. Arrangements by Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home.
She was born in Hico and had been a resident of Alpine before moving to Dallas in 1958.
SURVIVORS: Husband John D. Spradlin of Carrollton; sons, Michael Spradlin of The Colony and David Spradlin of Dallas; daughter, Cindy Spradlin of Dallas; mother, Delphia Killion of Alpine; sister, Bonnie Abercrombie; and two grandchildren.

ODESSA — Jessie B. Watkins, 72, of Odessa, a retired janitor, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, in Odessa.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Freedom Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth White officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Kosse and had been a resident. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Ruth Collins Watkins of Odessa; sons, Johnny Johnson of Temple, Jessie B. Watkins Jr. of Lubbock, John Earl Watkins, Robert Lee Watkins and Willie Ray Watkins, all of Odessa, and Eddie Ray Watkins of Midland; daughters, Janell Banks of Austin, Jesse Mae Watkins, Emma Jean Watkins and Evelyn Louise Tunson, all of Odessa; sisters, Eula Faye Watkins of Odessa and Jewel Faye Watkins of Kosse; 38 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
