ODESSA — Gloria Murray, 61, of Odessa, a retired teacher’s aide for the Ector County Independent School District, died Thursday, September 13, 2001.
Gloria was born December 27, 1939, in Lott to Vastine and Bennie Truesdale.
Funeral services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2001, at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. R.T. McNeil officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill cemetery.
Gloria was preceded in death by her father, a daughter, Felonese Gamble, and a brother, N.R. Truesdale.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Murray of Odessa, a stepson, Greg Murray of Lubbock, a daughter, Katina Sneed of Dallas, her mother, Bennie Truesdale, of Lott, Texas; a brother, T.L. Truesdale of Oakland, Calif., and sisters Ola Mae Scott of Lott, Velma Campbell of Odessa and Darlene Hollins of Cypress.
Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

Troy Martin
KINGSLAND — Troy Odell “T.O.” Martin, 86, of Kingsland, a retired Exxon employee, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Windchime Assisted Living Center.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Highland Lakes United Methodist Church with the Rev. L.C. Johnston officiating. Arrangements by Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Homes Inc.
He was born in Goree. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Vera Martin of Kingsland; son, Mike Martin of DeSoto; daughter, Pat Pound of Austin; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Ismael Rodriguez Sr.
ODESSA — Ismael Rodriguez Sr., 78, of Odessa, a retired cement finisher, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at the Home Hospice House.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua in Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ismael Rodriguez Jr., Ruben Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez and Juan Rodriguez, all of Odessa, Jesus Rodriguez of Presidio, and Humberto Rodriguez of Las Cruces, N.M.; daughters, Gloria Juarez and Celia Rodriguez, both of Ojinaga, Mexico; Silvia Marin of Midland; and Irene Hernandez of Odessa; brothers, Armando Rodriguez and Hector Rodriguez, both of Ojinaga, David Rodriguez of Odessa and Jose Rodriguez of Pecos; sister, Consuelo Hinojos of Odessa; 35 grandchildren; and 55 great-grandchildren.

Frances Rundle
MARSHALL — Frances P. (Winn) Rundle, 107, of Marshall, a retired school teacher and farmer, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Tendercare of Marshall.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Larry Sandusky officiating. Arrangements by Kempf Funeral Home.
She was born in Marquez. She was a member of the East Eckford Community Church.
SURVIVORS: Numerous nieces and nephews.

ODESSA — Roscoe Wayne Clevenger, 70, of Odessa died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at Hospice House.
Services are pending at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Elizabeth Wilson
PECOS — Elizabeth Wilson, 93, of Pecos, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at Baylor University Medical Center Hospital in Dallas.
Services are pending at Pecos Funeral Home.

Olivia Anaya
FORT WORTH — Olivia A. Anaya, 59, of Fort Worth, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at her residence.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Olivet cemetery. Arrangements by Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
She was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Santos Vega of Fort Worth; and sisters, Irene Gomez, Nell Garza, Gloria Anaya and Mary Brown, all of Fort Worth, and Elfida Amaya of Wichita Falls.

Betty Fikes
COAHOMA, Okla. — Betty Sue Fikes, 61, of Mineral Wells, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Coahoma cemetery. Arrangements by Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.
She was born in Midland and had been a resident of Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ricky McCain of Clinton, Okla., and Gary Don McCain of Odessa; daughter, Kim McDowell of Terlingua; mother, Eula Jean Eckert of Mineral Wells; sisters, Wanda Williams of Concho, Ariz., and Jean Lewis of Mineral Wells; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Blanche C. Graham, 88, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Burt Groves officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Dunn and moved to Odessa in 1947 from Fort Worth. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVOR: Daughter, Billie Brown of Odessa.

Norval Jackson
CLEVELAND, Okla. — Norval Leroy Jackson, 86, of Odessa, a retired mud engineer for Permian Mud Service, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Woodland cemetery with Charles Hagburg and Dick Risinger officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Cleveland, Okla. He was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Gary Jackson of Fort Worth and Larry Jackson of Odessa; daughter, Peggy McDaniel of San Angelo; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

ALPINE — Myron Fay “Momo” Johnson, 94, of Alpine, a retired rancher in Menard and Brewster counties, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, in Laredo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Methodist Church with the Rev. Duncan Paris officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Comanche County and had been a longtime resident of Brewster County.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Margie Fay Dorris of Zapata, Rita Christelle Taylor of Burnet and Joyce Louise Tomerlin of Floresville; sisters, Jo Richardson of McCamey and Mildred Couch of Sanderson; 11 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Billie Mercell Kidwell, 76, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, at Deerings Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Steve King officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Woodson and moved to Odessa in 1947. She was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Son, Lawrence Kidwell Jr. of Henderson, Nev.; daughter, Roxie Kidwell of Odessa; brother, Charlie Wolf of Arlington; sisters, Tommie Parker of Weatherford and Dixie Dodson of Mineral Wells; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
