ODESSA — Bonnie J. Brown, 66, of Odessa, a retired house sitter for the elderly, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at Avalon Place.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Oklahoma City. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, George Richard Brown and Milton Jet Brown, both of Odessa; and sisters, Ellen Louise Thorman and Patsy Jo Terry, both of Odessa, and Rose Ellen Murphy of Houston.
Ruben Gamboa Jr.
IRAAN — Ruben Gamboa Jr., 19, of Iraan, a courier for Pecos General Hospital in Iraan, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at his residence.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Wright and Jesus Galindo officiating. Burial will follow at Restland cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Chapel.
He was born in Seminole and was a lifelong resident of Iraan. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Ruben and Guadalupe Gamboa of Iraan; sister, Miriam Gamboa of Iraan; and grandparents, Blasa Castro of Iraan, and Bartola Castro Gonzalez and Benito Gonzalez, both of La Rosita, Mexico.
Patty Herring
BROWNFIELD — Patty Bell Herring, 68, of Lubbock, retired owner of Joe’s Pipeline Service in Brownfield, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brownfield First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Randy Land officiating. Burial will be at Terry County Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Brownfield Funeral Home.
She was born in Big Spring and had been a resident of Andrews. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Joe Herring of Lubbock; daughter, Patrica Peters of Lubbock; sons, Rocky Herring and Bobby Herring, both of Brownfield; stepmother, Lois Hall of Brownfield; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mabel Jones
AMARILLO — Mabel F. Jones, 86, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, at Monahans Managed Care Center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park cemetery with Arthur Wright officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Rector, Ark. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, John Paul Jones of Brookfield, Wis., and James R. Jones of Birmingham, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

LAKE KIOWA — Murl W. Feemster, 66, of Lake Kiowa died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at his residence.

ODESSA — Ella M. Sisco, 44, of Odessa died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, in Odessa.

Urbano Abelino Jr.
ODESSA — Urbano “Chico” Abelino Jr., 48, of Odessa, a maintenance worker at H-E-B Food Store, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Gabriel Chavez officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Kingsville.
SURVIVORS: Son, Richard Abelino of North Richland Hills; daughters, Sarah Abelino and Mary Ann Abelino, both of Odessa; brothers, Manuel Abelino of Brownsville and Julio Abelino of Dallas; sisters, Marcy Enriquez, Olivia Abelino and Emma Garcia, all of Dallas, and Florencia Serrano of North Richland Hills; and three grandchildren.
Helen Anderson
ANDREWS — Helen Anderson, 56, of Andrews, an employee of Amoco, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Hunter officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Oakland, Calif., and moved to Andrews in 1967 from Breckenridge. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, W.D. Anderson of Andrews; daughter, Patricia A. Thomas of Big Spring; sons, Bennie D. Anderson of Canyon and Curtis M. Anderson of Dallas; and four grandchildren.
Margaret Briley
BRUCE, Miss. — Margaret Rains Briley, 75, of Bruce, Miss., a retired employee of Jim’s Tall and Big Men’s Clothing Store in Odessa, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Miss.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today at Bruce United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rex Wilburn officiating. Arrangements by Parker Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Wheatland, Wyo., and had been a resident of Odessa before moving to Bruce. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Colleen Briley Holt of Houston; son, Michael T. Briley of Bruce; and three granddaughters.

MIDLAND — C.W. “Red” Ellis, 78, of Midland, a retired engineer, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, in Midland.

He was born in Cisco.

He was born in Lubbock and moved to Odessa in 1951 from Matador. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Elden Reedy Jr. of Odessa and Olen Reedy of Denton; daughter, D. Ellen Reedy of Odessa; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Alfred Rougeaux Sr.
ANDREWS — Alfred Rougeaux Sr., 73, of Andrews, a retired pumper for Conoco Inc., died Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernard Gully officiating. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Friday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Basile, La., and moved to Andrews in 1963 from Lake Charles, La. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Leeanna Rougeaux of Andrews; sons, Alfred Rougeaux Jr. of Odessa, Kavin Rougeaux of Midland and Cliffen Fruge Jr. of Houston; daughters, Ethel Esprit of Beaumont, Brenda Hayes of Port Arthur and Angela Dunn of Houston; brothers, John Rougeaux and Joseph Rougeaux, both of Lake Charles; sister, Jesse Mae Reder of Lake Charles; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
