ODESSA - Vicente Espinoza, 69, of Odessa died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997, at his residence.

Military services will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Angeles Memorial Chapel. A prayer service is scheduled for 6 p.m. today at Angeles Memorial Chapel. Burial will be Tuesday in Fort Bliss in El Paso. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home/Angeles Memorial Chapel.

He was born in Alpine.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Beatriz Lopez Espinoza of Odessa; daughters, Rosalinda Abreo of El Paso, Beatriz Ann Lopez of Odessa, JoAnn Acosta of San Angelo and Alma Patricia Espinoza of Odessa; brother, Jose Martinez of Alpine; sisters, Martina Razo of Las Cruces, N.M., Eva Carrasco of El Paso, Esther Aguilar of El Paso and Maria Jacques of Alpine; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Manuela Fierro

PECOS - Manuela Rangel Fierro, 84, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 26, 1997, at her residence.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Juan Narez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Pecos Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

She was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, and was a 40-year resident of Pecos. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Son, Manuel Fierro of Pecos; daughters, Gloria Gomez of Pecos; Maria Louisa Ramirez of Jal, N.M., Elisa Fierro and Mary Rangel, both of Ojinaga; brother, Florencio Rangel of Ojinaga; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Ridder Garden

MONAHANS - Ridder Garden, 86, of Lubbock, a homemaker, died Monday, Dec. 22, 1997, at St. Mary's Hospital in Lubbock.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. J.S. Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

She was born in Jefferson. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, Johnny Stevens of Lubbock; stepson, Tom Garden of Monahans; stepdaughters, Willie May of Oklahoma, Jimmy Faye Johnson of Crane, Marie Cooper of Monahans and Eunice Garden of Lubbock; brothers, Otis L. Horsley and David Horsley, both of DeSoto, and Mitchell Horsley of Portland, Ore.; sister, Dora Gentry of Oklahoma City; 26 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Kaylene Miller

ODESSA - Kaylene Miller, 60, of Odessa died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1997, at her residence.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Homes.

She was born in Big Spring.

SURVIVORS: Son, Paul Larue Miller of Odessa; daughters, Mary Kay Ashley of Odessa and Lisa Moring of Seminole; and five grandchildren.

Berle Overman

SNYDER - Berle Overman, 56, of Dallas, a contract telephone cable installer, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1997, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas from injuries sustained in a work-related accident.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Milton Stephens and Dr. Tommy Overman officiating. Burial will be at Snyder cemetery. Arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

He was born in White Face and is a former resident of Snyder. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Father, Fred Overman of Snyder; mother, Mavis Overman of Snyder; son, Jim Overman of Snyder; daughters, Nicole Overman of Austin and Kellie Randall of Three Rivers; brothers, Dwayne Overman of Andrews, Fred Overman of Como and Marlin Overman of Kermit; and one grandchild.

Mitchell Crabb

ODESSA - Mitchell James Crabb, 31, of Odessa died Friday, Dec. 26, 1997, at Memorial Hospital in Midland.

Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Tecla Calderon

Tecla Urias Calderon, 97, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

A rosary service will be at 7 tonight at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at Rosehill cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

She was born in Buena Vista, Mexico, and has been a resident of Odessa for 48 years. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Manuel Calderon Jr., Ramon Calderon and Abelardo Calderon, all of Dallas and Arturo Calderon of Odessa; daughters, Maria Prieto, Aurora Villegas and Eva Olivas, all of Odessa; sister, Francisca Venegas of MaCamey; 35 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren.

Mitchell Crabb

Mitchell James Crabb, 31, of Odessa, a retired roughneck, died Friday, Dec. 26, 1997, at Midland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery with Terry Pugh officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Brownsville and had been a resident of Odessa for 31 years. He was Pentecostal.

SURVIVORS: Father, Milford Crabb; mother, Maria Crabb; daughter, Trinity Crabb; son, Tanner Crabb; brother Mark Crabb and grandmother, Susan Moore, all of Odessa.

Curtis Daniel

SEMINOLE - Curtis Ray Daniel, 76, of Seminole, a pumper for Mobil, died Friday, Dec. 26, 1997, at Memorial Health Care Center in Seminole.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Community Chapel with the Rev. Freida Tankersley officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County Memorial cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

He was born in Fisher County. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of Day Spring Church.

SURVIVORS: Stepdaughters, Shelley Briggs of Seminole and Marsha Buzan of Arlington; sisters, Emma Ewing and Joyce Lee, both of Lubbock, Inez Wiest of Oregan and Patsy Heim of Danville, Calif.; brothers, Buddy Daniel of Sacramento, Calif., and Benny Jack Daniel of Sun City West, Ariz., and three grandchildren.

Jack Duncan

MIDLAND - The Rev. Jack Alvie Duncan, 59, of Midland died Friday, Dec. 26, 1997, in Cloudcroft, N.M.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel in Midland with the Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating. Masonic graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Rosco cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Pipkin Funeral Home.

He was born in Roscoe and served in the Army. He was pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Gardendale for 18 years.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Wanda Duncan of Midland; sisters, Mary Snyder of Kermit and Pat Pool of El Paso; stepdaughters, Debbie Dorsey and Denise Lynch, both of Midland, and five grandchildren.

Maria Pedraza

KERMIT - Maria A. Pedraza, 77, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

Funeral services will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kermit with the Rev. Ralph Barrenger officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc. in Kermit.

She was born in Alpine and has been a resident of Kermit for 51 years. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Feliciano Pedraza of Kermit; son, Jose Pedraza of Kermit; daughter, Lupe Montoya of Kermit; brothers, Demetrio Armandarez and Antonio Armandarez, both of Kermit; sisters, Rufina Lujan of Andrews, Josefa Morales of Kermit and Gloria Grado of Lake Arthur, N.M.; and four grandchildren.

Cecil Watkins

MONAHANS - Cecil E. Watkins, 74, of Monahans, a retired truck driver, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans.

He was born in Dexter, N.M., and had been a longtime resident of Monahans. He was a Army veteran. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Emma Watkins of Monahans; sons, Cecil Dale Watkins of Monahans, James R. Watkins of Tucson, Ariz., and Randy A. Watkins of Odessa; daughter, Sandra Ferguson of Gatesville; brothers, Jay Watkins of Alamagordo, N.M., and Johnny Watkins of Midland; sisters, Rita Sell of Perryton and Mary Jane Dowtain of Richardson; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
