ANDREWS — Linda Sue Cook, 58, of Andrews, a retired bookkeeper for C&J Construction Co., died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, in Andrews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Rolison officiating. Burial will follow at the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Gorman and was a resident of Andrews for 49 years.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Ray Cook of Andrews; daughters, Debbie Cliff of Andrews and Holly Benavidez of Gail; mother, Erma Hudman of Robert Lee; sisters, Nita James of Midland, Carolyn Rolison of Athens, Ala., and Bennie Glover of Los Alamos, N.M.; and two grandchildren.

Mike Eudy
ODESSA — Mike D. Eudy, 83, of Odessa, a retired Odessa Police Department captain, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Roy Smalling officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Dawson County and moved to Odessa in 1952. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Fern Eudy of Odessa; sons, Chuck L. Eudy of Odessa, Ed M. Eudy of Sherwood, Ark., Sid F. Eudy of Pascagoula, Miss., and Jonathan Eudy of Little Rock, Ark.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Alberto Garcia
GRANDFALLS — Alberto Garcia, 64, of Grandfalls, a self-employed laborer, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at Tamarisk cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
He was born in Terlingua and was a lifelong resident of Grandfalls. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Julian Garcia of Crane; and sisters, Anita Garcia of Grandfalls and Enriqueta Subia of Grandfalls.

Hensley Hanks
ODESSA — Hensley Hanks, 88, of Odessa, a retired warehouseman for Sivalls Tanks, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Clydell Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Bessemer, Ala., and moved to Odessa 44 years ago from California. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jewel Hanks of Odessa; son, Gary Hanks of Fort Worth; daughter, Linda Hanks of Odessa; and sister, Sarah Ann Bruce of Hokesbluff, Ala.

Eual Jones
FORT STOCKTON — Eual Jones, 100, of Fort Stockton, a retired driller, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nathan McBride officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Rising Star and was a resident of Fort Stockton since the mid 1950s. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Ouida Arledge of West Virginia; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Crystal Keith
FORT WORTH — Crystal Daly Keith, 96, of Tyler, a retired realtor, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at a Tyler nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home.
She was born in Boyce and had been a resident of Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Son, Tom Keith of Tyler; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

David Price
ODESSA — David W. Price, 59, of Las Vegas, a security guard, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, in Las Vegas.
Services have been postponed until a later date due to the weather. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Odessa and was a resident of Las Vegas for 27 years. He was an Air Force veteran. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Morgan Price of Las Vegas; mother, Mildred Price of Odessa; and a granddaughter.

Jesus Reschman
ODESSA — Jesus Reschman, 86, of Odessa, a retired construction worker, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at Avalon Place Nursing Home.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Alpine and was a resident of Odessa for 24 years. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Estela Reschman of Odessa; daughters, Elisa Padilla, Ella Hardy and Ezila Reschman, all of Del Rio, Irmasa Saiza of California and Delia Ramirez of Odessa; sons, Oscar Reschman and Jesus Reschman, both of San Antonio, Arturo Reschman, Alfredo Reschman, Fernando Reschman and Roger Reschman, all of Odessa; and sisters, Elfida Reschman and Concha Reschman, both of California, and Elida Reschman of San Antonio.

BIG SPRING — W.L. “Shake” Townsend, 89, of Big Spring, a retired farmer, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at a McCamey hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel with Drs. Claude Craven and Randy Cotton officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home.
He was born in Nimrod and moved to Big Spring in 1936 from Haskell County. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, Buck Townsend of Rochester and O.G. Townsend of Joshua; and sisters, Leone Bain of Big Spring, Cleo Merworth of Comanche, Johnnie Holland of Eagle Lake, Bobbie Rogers of Simms and Fannie Mae Berry of McCamey.

LaVada Welch
ANDREWS — LaVada Welch, 62, of Andrews, retired owner and operator of the Pat Walker Salon in Andrews, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Hospice House of Odessa.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial was at the Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Boonsboro, Ark., and was a longtime resident of Andrews.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Clyde Welch of Andrews; sons, Mike Weis of Andrews and Matt Weis of Odessa; stepdaughter, Linda Davis of Andrews; parents, Edgar and Florance Walker of Waldon, Ark.; brother, Donald Walker of Gardendale; sisters, Nada Thacker of Snyder, Jody Brown of Waldon and Sue Stewart of Coleman; and four grandsons.

ODESSA — Florence Reynolds, 95, of Odessa died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

ANDREWS — Mildred Breckles, 61, of Andrews, a school bus driver for the Andrews Independent School District, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Andrews North cemetery with Brian Breckles officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Paris, Texas, and moved to Andrews in 1974 from Midland.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Brian Breckles of Gardendale, John Breckles of Houston, Anthony Hope of Andrews, Eric Hope of Seattle and Paul Breckles of Austin; daughter, Betty Boykin of Andrews; brothers, Eugene Bartee and Cecil Bartee, both of Andrews, and Calvin Bartee of California; sisters, Eva Clawson of Andrews and Velvey Bartee of Washington; and 11 grandchildren.
