Odessa Eaves
ANDREWS — Odessa Eaves, 81, of Weatherford, retired owner and operator of Red Barn Barbeque and Odessa’s Barbeque in Andrews, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Campbell Health Systems in Weatherford.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Coalgate, Okla., and had been a resident of Andrews before moving to Weatherford in 2001.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Georgia Perkins of Andrews, Faye Eaves of Albuquerque, N.M., and Elaine Massey of Weatherford; son, Terry Eaves of Santa Clarita, Calif.; sisters, Frances Parsley of Durant, Okla., and Donna Stealey of Seminole, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Ruben Martinez
SARAGOSA — Ruben Martinez, 50, of Saragosa died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Big Spring State Hospital in Big Spring.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at the Saragosa cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Saragosa. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maria O. Martinez of Kermit; son, Ruben Martinez Jr. of Kermit; brothers, Tomas Martinez Sr. of Saragosa and Frank “Chico” Martinez of Victoria; and sisters, Petra Chavez of Odessa, Maria Luz Tarango of Hereford, Manuela Hernandez of Saragosa and Gloria Martinez of Jal, N.M.

Maria Porras
FORT STOCKTON — Maria Martinez Porras, 75, of Fort Stockton, a retired housekeeper, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at 301 W. James St. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Son, Carlos Porras of Fort Stockton; sisters, Nicolasa Salazar and Manuela Montanez, both of Fort Stockton; and two grandchildren.

Virginia Smith
ALPINE — Virginia Smith, 87, of Alpine, a homemaker, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elm Grove cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in South Bend, Ind., and was a resident of Alpine for 60 years.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Karol Ann Smith of Big Spring; sons, Karl E. Smith Jr. and Charles E. Smith, both of Alpine; brother, Jack Hagopian of Huntsville, Ala.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Wanda Cooper
ODESSA — Wanda Cooper, 71, of Kermit died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Cooper Funeral Chapel.

Jack Henderson Jr.
ODESSA — Jack Johnson “Spoochie” Henderson Jr., 45, of Odessa died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at his residence.
Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Mary Jones
SNYDER — Mary Ann Jones, 64, of Snyder, secretary for Patterson Drilling Co., died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Henson officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
She was born in Brownwood and had been a resident of Kermit and Big Spring. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Hood Jones of Snyder; daughters, Karon Keller of Snyder and Cynthia Peet of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Olene Benham of Odessa; brothers, Dulane Leonard of Big Spring and Bobby Leonard of Odessa; and three grandchildren.

Calvin Langford
KERMIT — Calvin Ray Langford, 54, of Beeville, a retired employee of the State of Texas Prison System, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, in Jefferson County.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Kermit cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Holloway officiating. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
He was born in Kermit and had been a resident of Wink. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Linda Langford of Beeville; brother, John Langford of Midland; and sisters, Charlotte Holloway of Marietta and Dorothy May Smith of Lake Buchanan.

ODESSA — Alexandra Beatrice Levario, 7, of Odessa died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with the Rev. Pablo Tiong officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
She was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Benjamin and Debra Levario of Odessa; brother, Benjamin Levario Jr. of Odessa; sister, Angelica Levario of Odessa; and grandparents, Frank and Corina Chavez, Ismael Martinez and Maria Garcia, all of Odessa.

ODESSA — Luis A. Molinar, 80, of Odessa, a retired machinist, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born in Presidio and was a lifelong resident of Odessa. He was Catholic.

Almance and Ester Gomez, both of Odessa; sisters, Teodora Armendariz and Elisa Hernandez, both of Goshen, Calif., Maria Castillo of Odessa and Eva Salas of Presidio; brothers, Silverio Molinar and Jesus Molinar, both of Odessa, Jose Molinar of Ontario, Calif., Isabel Molinar of Pecos and Lorenzo Molinar of Ojinaga, Mexico; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Woodrow Randolph
WICKETT — Woodrow “Woody” Randolph, 84, of Monahans, a retired production supervisor for Gulf Oil Co. and former mayor and councilman of Wickett, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at Monahans Managed Care Center in Monahans.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen Swisher officiating. Burial will be at the Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
He was born in Oswalt, Okla. He was an Army veteran. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Woody Van Randolph of Wickett and Jame Lynn Randolph of Dallas; daughter, Pamela Randolph Taylor of Houston; sisters, Ruby Dodd and Imogene DeVore, both of Cushing, Okla.; and three grandchildren.

EASTLAND — Lela Mae Smith, 96, of Round Rock, a retired Odessa schoolteacher, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at Trinity Lutheran Home in Round Rock.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Eastland City cemetery. Arrangements by Edwards Funeral Home.
She was born in Cisco and had been a resident of Odessa. She was Methodist.
SURVIVOR: Nephew, C.S. “Woody” Smith of Austin.

ANDREWS — Antonio Ramos Bonilla, 76, of Andrews died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, in Andrews.
