ODESSA — Hollen Morine Harris, 81, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Craig DeArmond officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Caddo, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1946.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Scott Harris of Odessa; son, Jerry Scott Harris of Conroe; daughter, Priscilla M. Kemp of Odessa; two brothers; sisters, Roberta A. Burley of Sherman and LaDonna J. Hayes of Rogers, Ark.; and five grandchildren.

Esther Hill
PLAINVIEW — Esther Hill, 82, of Odessa, a retired department store clerk, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements by Lemons Funeral Home.
She was born in Lockney and moved to Odessa in 1996 from Plainview.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Gloria Collis of Midland and Sherrie Hill of Houston; stepson, Jimmy Hill of Plainview; three grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Thelma Neeley
PECOS — Thelma Neeley, 86, of Carlsbad, N.M., a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mount Evergreen cemetery with the Rev. Greer Willis officiating. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Rotan and was a resident of Pecos for 25 years before moving to Carlsbad in 1974.
SURVIVORS: Grandson, Kreg Harrison of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren.

Ruben Villanueva
PECOS — Ruben Villanueva, 50, of Pecos, an auto mechanic, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Ben Flores officiating. Burial will be at Santa Rosa Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Pecos and was a lifelong resident. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Aida Villanueva of Odessa; stepson, Luis R. Tarin of Odessa; father, Manuel Villanueva of Pecos; brothers, Israel “Roddy” Villanueva and Joel Villanueva, both of Pecos, and David Villanueva of Odessa; and sisters, Anita Prieto and Rosemary Chabarria, both of Pecos.

Una Betscher
LUBBOCK — Una Lee Betscher, 69, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin O’Brien officiating. Arrangements by Sanders Funeral Home.
She was born in Carlsbad, N.M., and moved to Fort Stockton in 1995 from Alpine. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Randy Betscher of Lubbock; daughter, Debra Whitfield of Fort Stockton; brother, Charles Coley of Lakewood, N.M.; and three grandchildren.

Eliza Dominguez
IRAAN — Eliza G. Dominguez, 73, of Iraan, a homemaker, died Monday, March 18, 2002, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Restland cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Merejildo Dominguez of Iraan; sons, Merejildo Dominguez III of Iraan and Robbie Allen Dominguez of Fort Stockton; daughters, Mary Jane Kershaw of Bismarck, N.D., Virginia Buckingham of San Diego and Sally Brown of Iraan; brothers, Tony Gonzales of Odessa, Jessie Gonzales, Joe Gonzales, Charlie Gonzales and Ish Gonzales, all of Fort Stockton, and Nachie Gonzales of Llano; sister, Lucy Gonzales of Fort Stockton; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Elmer Guyton Jr.
ODESSA — Elmer Guyton Jr., 48, of Odessa, a self-employed landscaper, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at the Hospice House.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at King Solomon Baptist Church with the Rev. G.T. Garnett officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Waco and was a resident of Odessa for six years.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Quentin Barfield of Chattanooga, Tenn., Montrell Clinton of Arlington, Roderick Fowler, Marcus Guyton and Brian Guyton, all of Dallas; father, Elmer Guyton Sr. of Lansing, Mich.; mother, Bobbie Brown-Caufield of Odessa; brothers, David L. Guyton of Odessa and Kevin L. Guyton of San Angelo; sisters, Carolyn Jackson of Midland, Vivian J. Washington of Houston, Linda J. Guyton, Debra A. Ward and Sue Rougeaux, all of Odessa; and grandmother, Bettie Brown of Moody.

DECATUR, Ala. — Ruth O’lene Lyle, 84, of Alpine, a homemaker, died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at an Alpine nursing home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Ridout’s Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Roselawn cemetery. Arrangements by Ridout’s Brown Service Funeral Home.
She was born in Morgan County, Ala., and was a resident of Alpine for 11 months. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Scharel Rook of Alpine; and two grandchildren.

Shirley McLaren
GRAHAM — Shirley Elizabeth McLaren, 66, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gooseneck cemetery.

She was born in Ranger and was a resident of Monahans since 1960. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Jim McLaren of Monahans; son, Jamye Doss McLaren of Phoenix; daughters, Tamara Gardner of Monahans and Robynn Kilby of Reva, Va.; sister, Sandra Keys of Midland; and three grandchildren.

ODESSA — Nola Bigham, 98, of Odessa died Monday, March 18, 2002, in Odessa.

ODESSA — Virginia Ruth “Mur-Mur” Barlow, 84, of Odessa died Friday, April 26, 2002, at a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Trout officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Healdton, Okla. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Aubrey K. Barlow; sons, Bob Barlow of Odessa, Don Barlow of Austin and Tom Barlow of Houston; and six grandchildren.

Phyllis Cummins
WINNSBORO, La. — Phyllis Mulkey Cummins, 48, of Winnsboro, La., a Big Johns employee, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center West Monroe.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Community Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Holly Grove cemetery. Arrangements by Community Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Franklin Parish, La., and had been a resident of Andrews, Odessa and Midland.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Doug Cummins of Winnsboro, La.; sons, Mike Cummins and Jeff Cummins, both of Winnsboro, La.; daughter, Amy Cummins of Monroe, La.; brother, John Mulkey of Cameron; sisters, Ruby Rozales of Midland and Linda Hull of Odessa; and three grandchildren.

ODESSA — Dr. Philip L. Faulk, 88, of Odessa, a retired dentist, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bill Heggemeier officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Yantis, Wood County, and was a resident of Sulpher Springs before moving to Odessa. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Anna Kathryn Malone of Odessa.
