Brown, Glen "Pete"
Services for Glen “Pete” Brown, 58, of Kilgore will be two p.m., Friday, July 30 2004 at Trinity Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Memorial Gardens. Mr. Brown died Monday, July 26, 2004 in a Tyler Hospital.
Mr. Brown was born in Wichita Falls to Wilbert and Mary Brown on November 28, 1945. He was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church and worked for Patterson Drilling Company. He was a proud veteran who served in the army in the Vietnam War for 52 months.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife Rhonda Brown of Kilgore; daughter Stephanie McDaniel of Longview; son Glen Brown Jr. of California; two brothers C.B. Brown of Monahans, Texas, Sam Brown of Weatherford, Texas; four sisters June Segars of Denver City, Texas, Lillian Weatherford of Olney, Texas, Martha Carnley Brown of Abilene, Texas, Barbara Arispe of Graham, Texas; four grandchildren Glen Allen Dannhaeuser, Carleigh Shea McDaniel, Chelsea Brown, Heidi Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home from six to eight p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2004.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Assembly of God Church Building Fund; P.O. Box 1235; Kilgore, Texas 57662.

Sherron, Lozaine
Lozaine Whitaker Sherron, 75, went to be with the Lord, Thursday August 4, 2004 at Laird Memorial Hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
She was born January 24, 1929 in Jacksonville, Texas the daughter of the late W.H. and Lenia Elder Whitaker.
Her husband Ben Sherron and son Randy Sherron precede her in death.
Survivors include her two sisters Beth Ford of Kilgore and Nancy Sue Rose of Helena, Montana; two brothers A.W. Whitaker of South Haven Mississippi and Ken Whitaker of Lafayette, Louisiana as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rowland, Beulah
Services for Beulah Donald Rowland, 93, of Carthage, formerly of Kilgore will be two p.m., Saturday, August 7, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jonathan Latham officiating. Burial will be in Kilgore Cemetery. Mrs. Rowland died Thursday, August 5, 2004 in Carthage, Texas.
She was born February 22, 1911 in Carthage, Texas. Mrs. Rowland attended public schools in Carthage. She and her husband moved to Kilgore in the early 1930’s. Mrs. Rowland was a homemaker and longtime member of the Forest home Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a Church Training Teacher.
She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Sue Luber of Carthage; among nieces and nephews are, Luanne Luber of Carthage, and Helen Wooley of Carthage.
Mrs. Rowland was preceded in death by her husband, A.P. (Andy) Rowland.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home immediately following the funeral service Saturday afternoon.

Beasley, Paul
Services for Paul Beasley, 91, of Leverett’s Chapel will be four p.m., Saturday, August 7, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kelly S. Krone officiating. Burial will follow in the Beasley Family Cemetery in Liberty City. Mr. Beasley died Thursday, August 5, 2004 in Kilgore.
Mr. Beasley was born in Overton, Texas on September 26, 1912. He owned B&B Paraffin Service in Kilgore. Mr. Beasley was a member of the Danville Masonic Lodge 101, served in Okinawa in the Navy during WWII, and was a member of the New London United Methodist Church.
Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife Sylvia “Tommie” Beasley of Leverett’s Chapel; one son Paul Beasley Jr. of Flower Mound, Texas; two daughters Gwen Pannell of Liberty City, Eva Schuler of Liberty City; eight grand children and 15 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home from six to eight p.m. Friday, August 6, 2004.

Unsworth, Marylyn
Services for Marylyn Unsworth, 74, of Dallas will be eleven a.m., Friday, August 13, 2004 at the First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Dr. William O’Neal officiating. Burial will be in Kilgore Cemetery. Mrs. Unsworth died August 10, 2004 in Dallas, Texas after a battle with cancer.
She was born March 29, 1930 in Emerson, Arkansas. Her family moved to Kilgore in the early 1930’s. Marylyn was a graduate of Kilgore High School and Kilgore College where she was a member of the Rangerette’s. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kilgore. Mrs. Unsworth was a real estate broker in the Kilgore/Longview and Dallas area.
Mrs. Unsworth is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Reinhart Haney of Arlington; a son John J. Reinhart, III of New Braunfels; a sister, Nancy Almand Crim of Tyler; a brother E. H. Almand, Jr. of Tyler; grandchildren, Allisan Crumrine and her husband R. J. of Austin, Emilie Reinhart of Kilgore, John-Michael Haney and his wife Emily of Arlington, John J. Reinhart, IV of New Braunfels; nieces and nephews, E. H. Almand, III and his wife Elaine of Tyler, Eleesa Wingo and her husband Maurice of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emerates; Max Brant Crim of Tyler, Jolyn Nicholson and her husband Brian of Gaithersburg, Maryland; great grandchildren Camille Costello of Kilgore Kaden Michael Haney of Arlington, Texas; several cousins and aunts.
Also, special love and gratitude for the support from her cousin, Michael George Mullins and friend Sarah Hancock.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Post Office Box 1216, Kilgore, Texas 75663-1216 or the American Cancer Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents E. Horace and Mildred Almand; a nephew Eric Almand and a husband Charles Unsworth.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore Thursday evening between six and seven-thirty p.m.
Honorary pallbearers are to be, Paul Bolt, John Mobley, Kenneth Horne, Howard Parker, Cecil Burrows, Frank Brown and Allen Guthrie.

Blackshear, Robert
Services for Robert Blackshear, Jr., 28, of Longview will be two p.m., Friday, August 13, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery in Longview, Texas. Mr. Blackshear died in Longview Sunday, August 8, 2004
Mr. Blackshear was born in Sherman, Texas on August 20, 1975. He loved to sing country music and was very proud of the numerous awards he has won in singing competitions. He is preceded in death by his sister Cindy Murr and his father Robert Blackshear, Sr.
He is survived by his mother Brenda Blackshear of Longview; son Robert Blackshear III; two sisters Debbie Lozano, Tammie Blackshear both of Longview; a fiancé Sandie Vann of Longview; special nephew Randy Blackshear; best friends Steven and Chastidee Jameson; other numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore from six to eight p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2004.

Brewer, Ruby Carol
Services for Ruby Carol McQueen Brewer, 43, of Kilgore will be four p.m., Friday, August 13, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Wayne Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. She passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at MD Anderson Medical Center.
Mrs. Brewer was born June 24, 1961 in Kilgore. She worked as a private sitter.
She is survived by her father, Billy Joe McQueen of Kilgore; four sisters, JoAnn Pierce, Mary Clary, Betty McQueen and Cassy Miller all of Kilgore; her grandmother Ruby McQueen of Grand Saline, an aunt Dotty Petty of Kilgore; nieces and nephews, Cherry Clark, Jason Pierce and Holly Pierce all of Kilgore, Cindy Marmon of Monett, Mo., Robby Clary, Jeffery Miller, Jeremy Miller and Stephanie Miller all of Kilgore; several great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and five very special friends, Carolyn Synoground, Sandy Tinney, Mary Montgomery, Angie Morris and Ellen Weaver.
Her husband, Charles Edward Brewer; her mother, Mary Lou Nash McQueen and her aunt Ruth Ann Wood preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Thursday evening between six and eight p.m.

Fairchild, Cheyenne
Graveside services for Cheyenne Faith Fairchild, infant daughter of Tawana Hopper and Dennis Fairchild of Kilgore will be held at two o’clock p.m., Wednesday August 11, 2004 at the Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Reverend James Baker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
Cheyenne was born June 30, 2004 and died Saturday August 7, 2004 at LSU Medical center in Shreveport.
Survivors include her parents; a twin sister Cherish Dakota Fairchild, brothers and sisters Dennis Ray Fairchild, Jr., William Zachary Fairchild, Crystal Ann Hopper and Jesse Ray Hopper all of Kilgore; paternal grandmother Jackie Fairchild of Kilgore and maternal grandmother Charlene Lacy of Overton; several aunts, uncles and other loving family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from six until eight o’clock p.m.

HERBERT B. SALE
Services for Herbert Sale, 87, of Kilgore will be eleven a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2004 at the First Baptist Church with the Reverends Frank Mathews and David Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery. Mr. Sale died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 in Tyler, Texas.
Mr. Sale was born September 20, 1916 in Deport, Texas. He served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Sale was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He served as deacon at the Calvary Baptist Church of Oak Cliff. Mr. Sale was a member of Master’s Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church of Kilgore.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen Sale of Kilgore; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Ricky Clark of Kilgore; two granddaughters, Angela Clark of Kilgore and Kimbra Clark of Longview; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Kaden Clark of Longview; sister, Janice Winn of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Camile Sale of Dallas; sister-in-law Mary Sale of Dallas; brother-in-law and his wife, John and Dorothy Law of Meridian, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Smith and a brother, Scott Sale.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Friday evening between six and seven-thirty.

Pallbearers will be Randy Earley, Maxey Cerliano, David Taylor, Jerdy Wolverton, Tex Rogers and Charlie Hearn. Honorary Pallbearers will be The Master’s Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church.

Zeller, Russell
A memorial service celebrating the life of Russell Eugene Zeller, Jr., 81, of Liberty City will be held at ten o’clock a.m., Monday, August 16, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore with the Reverend Pam Besser and Doug Wintermute officiating. Mr. Zeller died Thursday evening August 12, 2004 at the Gregg Home for the Aged.
He was born May 21, 1923 in Genoa, Nebraska the son of the late Russell Eugene Zeller Sr. and Leona Purvis Zeller. He was a United States Army Veteran serving as a paratrooper at Normandy on D-Day during WWII, a truck driver and a Mason.
His wife Charlene Zeller preceded him in death in 2000.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Arthur Morchat of Liberty City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Jane Zeller of Brookfield, Wisconsin and Danny and Nancy Zeller of Hobbs, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Jessica Z. Kokas, Shannon Zeller, Morgan Zeller, Eric Zeller, Aaron Zeller, Danny Morchat and Holly Morchat.
Memorials may be made to Gregg Home for the Aged.

Hall, Jr., Marvin
Marvin Dunlap Hall, Jr was born June 28, l9l9 to Alta Lester Hall and Marvin D. Hall Sr, at Breckenridge Hospital in Austin,Tx. After graduating from Overton High School in l936 he, his mother and two brothers moved to Austin were he enrolled in the Univ Of Tex School of Pharmacy graduating in l94l with a BS in Pharmacy. After receiving a deferment from the 1940 draft so that he could finish his degree he entered the Army in 1941. receiving his basic training at Camp Grant in Illinois. In December l94l he left New York City by ship convoy disembarking at Fort Clayton in the Panama Canal Zone. While stationed there he reached the rank of Staff.Sgt and was chosen for Officer Training School at Camp Barkely in Abilene, Texas. In June of 1943 he was assigned to Ream General Hospital in Palm Beach, Fla. as a Medical Supply Officer. There he met and married Margie Gosch in December of l943. When Ream General closed he was assigned to the Air Force serving in Miami Beach, Fla, again in Medical Supply, and supervising German prisoners of war work detail. When WW II ended he had attained the rank of Captain and received his honorable discharge at Camp Blanding Florida in l946. He returned to Texas and after a short stay in Austin he and his wife settled in East Texas where he worked as a Pharmacist for Scotty Lucus at Longhorn Drug until l956. That same year he and Margie established Hall Drug Co in Kilgore which was located on Main Street. He worked long hours 7 days a week to establish his business. After 28 years of filling and dispensing prescriptions for loyal customers he sold his store in l983. He retired to play lots of golf with his many longtime golfing "buddies" and do much traveling with his family. While in Kilgore he was an active member of several organizations including the Rotary Club, Lions Club, a Board member Kilgore Chamber of Commerce and an original member of East Texas Pharmacy Assoc. In 1991 he received a 50 year lifetime membership from Univ.of Texas School of Pharmacy.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Libbee Ann Hall in l99l and by his parents. He is survived by his son Marvin D Hall III and wife Billie Ann of Kilgore, daughter Debra Hall-Bruneau of Schertz, Texas and grandaughters Maggie Hall of Kilgore and Margie Lynne Bruneau of Schertz Texas. Two nephews Randall Hall and Kenneth Hall of San Diego, Calif, First cousins Doris Ann Hawk of Dallas and Grace Ekes of Lawton Okla. Marvin was also preceeded in death by his two brothers, Major Tom Hall and Clifton C. Hall, who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty during WW II. The VFW Lodge in Overton is dedicated to these two soldiers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Paul Episcopal Church in Kilgore.
Services will be Ten o’clock a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2005 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kilgore with Father Stephen Butts officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends between 6 and 7:30pm Friday at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.
